i am OUTRAGED

[17 and scared]

I POSTED A THREAD A COUPLE WEEKS/DAYS BACK ASKING FOR THE PROS AND CONS OF BIRTH. FOR THOSE WHO REPLIED TO THIS POST I THINK YOU SHOULD READ ON.

Well i am absolutely disgusted in the out come of this thread.

*YES it is in 'text slang'.
*YES i am a TEEN who uses it frequently [like most teens].
*AND YES i was REALLY affended by what was said.

AND ii QUOTE:

There is More Only i refuse to waste my time reading through all of them.

But then the cheek of some of you to come in to this thread, MY THREAD and then DEBATE the fact 'if she was saying it rudely or not' is OUTRAGEOUS.

ii Myself found the program VERY disturbing, other people might not have been 'disturbed' && have found it intresting, Educational, but me? it scared the SH1T out off. and instead of People [other then B&B Admin && CO] all i got was PRACTICALLY grief off 95% of you that thought i was COMPLETLY AND UTTERLY WRONG for posting this Thread, MY THREAD. The 5% that did say something 'decent / nice' or try to 'defend' me whilst i wasn't online i have thanked you.

Note: if ii PERSONALLY think you were one of the 95%, then you have been egnored, and i would prefer if you wouldn't reply to any of the rest of my threads, that i shall post before the end of the day. i shouldn't be cyber bullied in a TEEN pregnancy forum because of my aspects of child birth and how i type. i'm trully disgusted that i have been treated this way on more then one occasion.

i Have There For Decided that form then end of today i won't be posting no more threads as the last 2 i have posted all i have as a reply was negativity. i will still reply to threads however.

I don't think the person who wrote the comment you quoted meant to offend you - they were just pointing out that it is harder to read and takes a lot longer to get through the posts, so fewer people end up reading your threads. I'm not trying to offend you, just saying that I don't think people meant to upset or bully you and I hope you don't feel you need to stop posting threads here x

I don't think this thread was really necessary, was it?

I and admin saw the negativity and took care of the issue. It's passe!

I believe that if you had a problem with it, a response in that thread would have been sufficient, but to bring up the entire subject again days later and in a thread all its own really is not necessary.

I agree with Lee-Anne.

All the issues from that thread would have been worked out on that thread.
The admins of this forum certainly don't tolerate bullying,not here in the teen section nor in any other section.

As for the comment about 'text slang',it was blunt and not very nicely put but the person was merely pointing out that it was hard to read.

EDIT: Plus,threads do often 'wander' in another direction and there's not much you can do about it nor can you limit the posts on your thread to only people that agree with you.This is a forum.

Quite frankly, the more I think about it, the more I think you are stirring up an issue that was laid to rest and the more I think this post is rude on it's own.

I see that you posted the same thing in the original thread, which has now been closed. Two posts were not necessary...and one in it's own thread was completely out of line.

please dont stop using the forum over this! It provides so much support - I would be lost without it and I'm 24 and this is my 3rd so i cant imagine how frightening this is for you at times. I dont think people meant to upset you! I was one of the people you thanked and yet it did take me a while to read the thread because i didnt understand it at first. I think all that people were trying to say is that they found it hard to understand. But i also know that when things are written down instead of being spoken it can come across wrong and hurt the recipient as you cant detect the tone etc. If you do decide not to use the forum again then i wish you all the best in the future and really hope and pray that everything runs smoothly for you!! If you were unhappy with the way the thread had gone or felt that there was any bullying of any description going on a simple pm to admin would of been sufficient.

Like it has said before BabyandBump do not tolerate bullying of any description and admin dealt with you previous thread as they felt was necessary.

There are always going to be people that disagree hun and from looking at the original post it seems disagreement has been confused with negativity. People were just expressing their opinions. Admin did deal with the issue for you and pointed out that it wasn't very nice but i think it was far from cyber-bullying. Please take a deep breath and calm down and put it behind you. People in life will always disagree and I am sure in time when you get as old and decrepid as us you will say the same thing about typing you can't understand. Doesn't make it right but it is life unfortunately. All the best whatever you decide to do.

There are several things that I find offensive about your post.
#1. Most teenagers do not type in slang. I, PERSONALLY find it difficult to read and/or understand & I am a teenager - 15 to be exact.
#2. YOUR thread? You may have created that thread but it is in no way YOURS, this is a forum where people come to express their own opinions & ideas & if you can't accept that then maybe you shouldn't be creating threads?
#3. Like Amy said, that ladies' statement may have been blunt but it was dealt with already & you bringing the situation back up just looks like you're trying to revive a problem!
#4. 'english-ist'? The sarcasm in that sentence alone is very rude. & you're complaining about somebody being blunt? That statement was worse than blunt, it was downright uncalled for & RUDE.
