I need a bump buddy!! Anyone else due October 25th?

Here's my little bean! There's only one - kind of relieved actually. Little heart was fluttering away nicely. It's measuring a few days smaller, but doc said that could be because it was curled up so tightly. Now I feel confident enough to tell the kids about our tiniest family member. Only 3 more days of secrets!!!

I am having a hard time sleeping lately...I fall to sleep fine..but have to get back up in no time to pee...and then...I have the hardest time getting back to sleep..its like I just cant get comfy..and then its time to get up and potty again!! and then it just keeps over and over atleast 3 times a night lol..its driving me AND hubby insane..but once its like..7am or so..I can sleep in any position and am passed out by the time hubby leaves for work..anyone else having this crazy potty/insomnia routine take over their sleeping?
 
I'm up 3 to 4 times a night but I seem to have mastered the sleepwalk toilet stop.
 
Mrs J am in much the same boat, only I have to get up for work at about 6.50am and sometimes I have been wriggling about since about 2am :(

MrsJ me too I get up in the night twice these days and if the sun is hinting at coming up there is no way I can get back to sleep.

I have also been having troubles sleeping. So tired but can't get comfy and really restless through the night. I've been having some intense dreams lately too. None yet about the baby though -- I'm hoping that one comes soon! I sat down with youngest DD for a rare nap this afternoon and fell asleep for 2.5 hrs. Wow, I guess I needed that!
 
I have baby dreams all the time... one last night actually.. lol..always a little girl!!! last night I had a weird dream about lions...which is supposed to be maternal stuff according to dreammoods.com lol..soo weird...I have tons and tons of really vivid dreams every night now...I've always had crazy vivid dreams but now its like...4-5 a night...
 
Went to my 1st appt today with hubby. It went great! Got all of my bloodwork drawn, thought that I was going to vomit, i forgot to eat before i went. Got to pass on the pap, since I had one in Dec, thank god! The ultrasound went great, the dating was exact to the day that i thought it was. Baby's heart rate was 169. We could see him/her moving around in there. She kept moving the wand around, i said, theres only one baby in there right? She said yes, but we want to make sure. It was a relief to see the baby on the screen, kind of validated the whole thing for us. They sent us home with a HUGE bag of goodies, magazines, diaprers, pregnancy journal, you name it. Im in a great mood! Our next appt is on 4-11-11, well have another ultrasound and all the tests for chromosal abnormalities, thatll give something else to worry about until thats out of the way. Great 1st visit.

Ok so two questions...#1...any of you notice that you get fuller a lot faster? like...eating half of what I normally would I feel full already...and if I overeat even a bite I want to :sick: uggh..soo annoying..

#2...for those that are finding out the sex is your hubby going too..or are you going to somehow surprise/tell him after? I kind of want mine to just not go so I can surprise him with something..since the whole preggie test announcement wasnt much of a surprise lol... I bought a girl outfit and a boy outfit and plan on giving whichever one to him as a present once I find out...and it will be the bringing home baby from hospital outfit too!

in answer to #1 yes, totally eating smaller portions, but slightly more often.
in answer to #2 I am not finding out the sex, I want the 'it's a ......' moment.
 
DH will probably go with me to the us when we find out the sex, unless something happens and for some reason he couldnt go.
 
I cant believe our babies are about an inch now!!..seemed like it would never get to that stage...

I'm not planning on finding out on the sex of the baby. I want it to be a surprise. I think it will be nice to announce it to everyone when the baby is born.
 
you all have soo much patience lol...lol...I just cant wait..even waiting till May/June is killing me...so I cant imagine waiting till Oct lol..
 
Waiting - I'm so happy that your appointment was filled with good news.

We did not find out the sex with our first 2 kids. The surprise on delivery day was wonderful. With our 3rd, only hubby and I knew. With this one, I think I would like to find out early again but keep it a secret with hubby again. We also don't tell anyone the names we have picked. That way no one can complain or put in their unwanted opinions!

My brother had a baby almost a year ago and they announced many times that it was a girl (they already had a boy) -- painted the nursery pink and everything. Out popped another boy on delivery day and surprised everyone.
 
I have no self control! I will definately have them tell me, it already seems like forever until 14-16wks when i can find out!
 
Yep I want to know now what I'm having! I can't wait to find out. There is a nub theory apparently so I'll be studying the scans when I get to 12 weeks.
 
I started with the most amazing pain in the lef hand side of my back last night, just on the ribs. OMG it was the most painful nights sleep ever. Google has come up with a few possible causes, one is gas and another is a kidney infection spreading or kidney stones. I wasn't worried until I used the internet. I am now going to make a doctors appointment, just in case.
