I need a bump buddy!! Anyone else due October 25th?

Im just waiting till the baby showers are over..
so we'll prolly have October to make up everything we dont have and set it all up..hopefully that will pass the time for me..those last few boring weeks..organizing everything
 
My nursery is mostly setup. I just need a bunch of wall accessories, valance, lamp, letters for over the crib, organizing bins and the rocker for the room. All of those small things seem like a lot to me ;) I really feel an urgency for some reason to finish it all!
 
wow nice to know you are all setting up your nurseries or have plans in for them.. i have stopped shopping in general for the remaining things like toiletries etc because my LO is going to be spending over a month in hospital and i dont want to tempt fate really, just want to make sure she is coming home and is safe and healthy before i buy anything else from now.

i am going to pack my hospital bags soon as i dont know when i might need to go in.

its sooo cute...but OMG how long did it take to do all those dots? lol lol..I would have gone crazy lol lol...

and love the baby pics...of course they always have to have their feet up in their face lol lol..
 
Love all the pics hippy! The feet in the face are so cute! We did dots in our room too. I'll have to see if I can load a pic :)
 
Ok, here is the nursery painted :) We still have stuff to put up on the walls, but we are getting there!

I painted most of the dots free hand, but then I got some acetate and cut some stencils for the smaller ones as I was finding it harder to keep them looking good. They didn't take that long to do in all honesty. I'd probably say three hours in total, I did it two separate days. I also had to keep washing the brushes between colours.

I love the spots on your nursery wall Acorn. I love the background colour too.

I know..in the 70s!! now if only the temp was dropping as fast as our days left lol..I am soo sick of 80-90 degree weather!!
 
I wish it were 80-90. Here its been 90-100. I feel like im in a sauna when i step outside. One day last wk the heat index was 118!! I think this week its supposed to cool down some. My om surprised me today and boight our crib mattress. Then at the furniture store she got us a upholstered swivel glider. I love it so much, ive got it in the living room until the baby gets here.
 
aww...I cant wait to get our glider...I keep seeing them on craigslist for cheap but then you never know what condition the fabric and cushion will be on or how much wear its had...so Im holding out for a new one lol...
 
I have a glider picked out from Target. I really just want to buy it, but I have been waiting for it to go on sale. It goes on sale online, but the shipping is so much that even with multiple discount codes it ends up being the same price as in store. The glider has yet to go on sale in store. It's driving me nuts! I am not sure how much longer I can hold out :p
