I need a bump buddy!! Anyone else due October 25th?

I have to say I am looking forward to the birth to be honest. I just wish it would happen sooner rather than later. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow. If it is not the horrible midwife I will ask about when they could do a sweep explaining that my spd is killing me and I would prefer to get the baby out asap. I know that I could ask to be induced but I refuse to go to hospital unless I have to.

me too!! I think I might ask if my Dr will even do one at all...or Im atleast hoping that the internal they do will cause something to happen..

yesterday we went hiking for a bit..not the most comfy thing..seriously thought I might end up having to pee in the woods lol ..she definitely felt heavier/pubic felt more pressure after...then we went to walmart and walked a bit..went for like..5 things and ended up with a lot more..picked up a subway on the way home...came home and unloaded groceries..and ate..and then could not stop peeing!!!! I mean I would go and then turn around not even 5 mins later and go again!!...I went to the bathroom ATLEAST 10 times in 30 mins or so...and it kept up till I went to bed..anytime I was standing up I had to pee..and since I went cleaning crazy..I was standing up for quite a while..if hubby hadnt wanted to go to bed when he did around midnight..I would have stayed up cleaning...he bought me a steam mop!! with attachements...and the only thing that stopped me from doing that all night was my SPD and my back...but I was organizing..wiping down everything...and then just now this morning I woke up starving like literal pains hurting...was wide awake..hubby was snoring..so I decided to just go ahead and get up..and now Im sitting here eating and watching I Love Lucy...ive had two moms tell me that the full moon or next big storm will cause labor as the pressure changes...the baby drops..and thats it..that is supposed to be tomorrow and then its sposta rain tomorrow and weds and thursday thunderstorms..lets keep our fingers crossed ladies lol lol..

Hey everyone! I just got back last night from my trip to Iowa. I had a great time with family and friends I have been so uncomfortable though! I can't imagine being pregnant for 2 more weeks! I really do hope it comes soon. I went to my appointment on Thursday and I was dilated 1 cm, which I guess is better than nothing She also said my cervix was soft, but still had a little length to it. She said the way things were progressing, she didn't think I would go overdue

I have been looking forward to the birth, but for some reason now it doesn't feel real and I don't feel like I am ever going to go into labor! Although, we are supposed to have a thunderstorm on the same day here as the full moon, so that doubles my chances right?

Oh, and baby's head was engaged on Thursday! It was very exciting to hear since I was worried about her staying head down. The MW said she had gotten pretty far down there considering I had just had the ECV 2 days earlier. She said she could feel the ridge on her head

Acorn that is exactly what someone told me!! lol lol...we ran into some friends at the mall..one of them has like..6 month old twins and she said..well you know it is a full moon soon..and sposta rain too..I bet it will happen then lol lol..oh that would be amazing if it does!! lol.. wonder if any of us will have LOs on the same day?

and so glad you trip went well and that LO is headown to stay!!...cant wait for my appt today but trying not to get too excited incase nothing has changed again...but still taking my bag and stuff with me..just incase something makes them keep me..

Ha ha, we went out for my birthday yesterday with all of my family and my in-laws. They compared schedules and decided the best day for me to go into labor would be this Friday SOLD!

I can't wait for some more birth announcements on here Mrs Jerome, I hope you have progressed some!

Ive already got my official birth announcements on shutterfly picked out and ready ..just gotta post some pics..and her official birth info and they will be ready to go..we are having them sent directly to our local friends (only 10 or so) since we are attaching a message about when visitation is ok..and then having the rest for our family/friends abroad sent to the house so I will send them out once we are home

no..no giftcard..ive given up on target to be honest..well mainly target.com but..I registered online way way back in like..November of last year or something lol lol..so maybe they werent running that special then..but there is a Ship30 code for free shipping over $30 so hopefully that will still be a working code when she gets here..well..Im bout to go get ready and head to my appt..will be back after..usually doesnt take long..wish me luck!! kinda hoping they would keep me there and be like oh your dilated and oh if we just break your waters she'll be out in no time lol...fat chance of that though lol.. see you ladies in a bit!

no changes..but he still says she could come at anytime..I can have a sweep next appt Monday the 17th if I want and Ive been scheduled for an induction Nov 4th if shes not here by then but hopefully we wont make it that far lol..

I feel quite different today, my belly is contracting quite a bit. I actually thought in the middle of the night I was going to go into labour as the pain got quite strong. Not regular or anything but they are much stronger than ever before. I am hoping this is a good sign, would love to go into labour today and avoid having to go and see the midwife. I doubt it though as no bloody show or anything as yet, but things are moving on.
I didn't tell my hubby as Matt would spend all day at work worrying and so I figured it would be best to wait and see, rather than have him distracted all day and nothing happen.

I have a check-up today with my doctor. It seems a bit pointless at this stage because it's not really like I can ask my GP about labour or anything. He won't know the details. I really can't see why my surgery insists on me seeing a GP every other appointment. Their knowledge isn't as specialised as the midwife's and last time I went they missed that baby's growth was behind, when if I'd see my midwife I would have been sent for a growth scan.

I'm so tired I don't even want to go but I will just to make sure my measurements are ok.

Think I may be in a little bit of a bad mood today

Stouffer- I know how you feel, I think I am going to be in a bad mood from now until I go into labor! I am hoping to get the energy to clean the house in the next couple of days so that I am totally ready for baby. I feel like she won't come until I have cleaned, but I am too tired to clean, ha ha.

I know!! he was like...well if you had to pick a date lets go for that first week in November..cant be Weds coz we dont do them that day..and I was like..umm..IDK! lol...coz I have two close cousins with b-days in early November and I didnt want to hit them but couldnt remember the days!!...apparently its like the 1st for one cousin and the 6th for the other..so I did good picking the 4th lol lol.. im doing acupressure points today...going to to use my new steam cleaner..they are installing the new dishwasher today too!! and going to make hubby Swedish meatballs...and then hopefully the full moon will kick in lol lol..

Ha ha, I just posted on your full moon thread. I had never heard of the acupressure points thing, so I will be watching some youtube videos and doing that all day at work!

I have it in my head that I want to go into labor this Friday. Probably totally unrealistic, but I am sure I will be bummed when Friday comes and goes with no action. Yesterday my hubby told me he didn't think it would happen this weekend because HE didn't think baby was ready. Then he tried to hug me. I told him not to touch me, ha ha ha! Not a good thing to say to a pregnant woman!
