In hospital - update 2 - home!!

Oh love, I hope they get you and that precious baby sorted out x

Honey I hope everything goes well for you and your little one!

I went to the hospital with sudden high blood pressure and they found large amounts of protein in my urine and decided to induce at 33 weeks...I hope that they are able to manage everything and you don't have to go so early!

Wow, thank you for all the thoughts, wishes and prayers. Means so much. Got admitted for the night and have had ctgs every 4 hours. My blood pressure is beginning to drop, but still higher end of normal. They haven't checked my urine yet and I'm currently having another ctg. fingers crossed everything will be normal and I can go back home. Still having regular tightenings, which they keep questioning. I can feel them, had them for a few days, but just thought they were cramps from doing too much!! I wanted to go home, but they kept saying a night in hospital would do me good. The woman in the bed opposite me was in labour all night before being moved to delivery at 5.30, and the woman next to me is in very early labour. All that, along with the 4 hourly ctgs means I'm shattered and had no sleep!! Looking forward to going home!! My oh has had a bit of a scare from it all and has promised to start looking after me and doesn't want me doing so much. Word of advise, have an overnight bag packed!! I didn't, I've got 2 pairs of socks, 3 pairs of underwear, a toothbrush (no toothpaste), a brush (I use a comb) and a pre pregnancy tshirt that doesn't fit. No breast pads for my leaky boobs, no deodrant, no moisturiser or face wipes, but he did bring a cuddly panda he bought me for my birthday!! xx

It sounds like they are monitoring you well, have they done an u/s?
Sending more thoughts & prayers

Glad things seem to be improving.. Lots of love lexi x

 sorry but had to laugh at oh's 'packing'. I got a toothbrush but no toothpaste brought on my last admission too. Men eh?
Glad it seems all is well and that they are keeping a close eye on you. Hope you're allowed home soon. :hugs:

I'm glad they are keeping a close eye on you Hun. I'm sorry you are even more shattered though!!! Your oh's packing would be something like my husbands packing..... Doh rubbish! Lol. I think it's a great idea to do a bag just in case. I hope you are home very soon!!! :) xx

Fingers crossed this is the kick up the bum urr oh need, but focusing on you more importantly fingers crossed you can go home soon and get some sleep and lo holds on in there bit longer huni xxxxxx

Hope you manage to get some good rest too - but you're in the right place. Glad things seem to be improving & hope you & little lady are allowed home soon to rest.

Good to know you're being properly taken care of. I can imagine how hard it must be, but it will all be worth it when you hold your fully cooked rainbow in your arms.

I'll be sure to pack that overnight bag today.

Glad you are being looked after Lexi....... hope bubs is ok. I bet you it brings back memories but try and stay strong xx

Glad they are keeping a close eye on you in hospital and hope your allowed to go home soon :) thinking of you xx

Finally home at long last. So tired. Had numerous ctgs before they were happy. They're still concerned about the tightenings I'm getting, but have ran tests and its not pre term labour or pre e. still have protein in my urine, its at 20, and needs to be at 30 before they're overly worried about it. Blood pressure is going down slowly. I'm at the midwife tues anyway, and already had my 32 week growth scan booked for next Thursday with my specialist so they'll both repeat tests. Any problems in between I'm to go straight back in. My bump has got smaller again, now measuring at 29cm. They're hoping baby has just moved, but I'm not convinced she has as I can still feel her in the same place, so my fluid will be checked on Thursday as I suffered with severe oligohydramnios (low fluid) with Joshua, just a lot earlier. I'm now going to curl up on the sofa with my cat and try to nap for a bit before the oh gets home from work. Nicest day of the year and I just want to sleep!! I've learnt my lesson about slowing down a bit and not doing so much. Must remember I'm almost 8 months pregnant! Oh, and to top it off, my boobs have started leaking. Actually had to go buy pads. They didn't leak till after joshuawas delivered, so was a bit of a shock!! But yes girls, at least have an overnight bag packed even if its not your specific hospital bag! Men suck at packing!! Right, time for sleep! Thank you again for all the love, luck and thoughts xx

So glad things are fine for now and they are continuing to keep their eye on you. Hope you get some lovely sleep now :) xxx

So glad things are going well! Glad it's not pre-e, hope it doesn't progress or anything.

Take it easy and keep that little one growing safely!!
