inositol use

Hello, I have suspected pcos or endometriosis (waiting on internal scan) and I have started taking lots of vitamins to help my body. I have heard lots of people call inositol as "baby in a bottle" can any one shed some light on how to take it, how many days, how much mg? I would be so grateful x

Im also interested if anyone has any info,ive heard that the powder is better than the tablets,but more expensive.I had pcos many years ago,but since coming off BC to try for #2 ive got bad skin and sugar cravings(and generally cant stop eating lol) so figure i need a bit of help
