Is anyone starting stims this week?

IM A NEWBIE TO THIS SITE AND IVF. JUST GOT WORD THAT I CAN START STIMMING THIS FRIDAY I HAVE BEEN ON LUPRON SINCE LAST TUESDAY. MY E2 LEVEL IS 39.65. I HAVE 10 FOLLIES ON MY RIGHT OVARY AND 9 ON THE LEFT.

JUST TRYING TO SEE IF ANYONE IS STARTING THE STIMS SO WE CAN GO THROUGH THE PROCESS TOGETHER!

PROTOCOL:
LUPRON 5CC, FOLLISTIM 175, LOW DOSE HCG 10UNITS

What day are you set to begin stimming? I am just doing a medicated cycle with Femara and then Follistim inj. I start injections on Wednesday (after my appt. if I get go ahead) although they cut my dose of the Follistim in half this cycle so no clue what will really happen....FX for you sweetie

Hel Andrea!!! I have already started my stims as of 10/26. I'm currently taking 5u of Lupron, 175u of follistim, and 10u of low dose hcg. Hope your appointment goes well for you wednesday!!!

Thanks keep me updated on you as well....I am taking 5mg of Femara at the moment and Wednesday of course after I get go ahead they cut my Follistim from 75mu down to right under the 50's notch...not sure what number mu's exactly I think its 45.5 or something because since we are doing just natural with a trigger shot for now...I overstimmed and had 8 mature follicles last cycle and it was cancelled...we've been on a "break" since July since that happened and I finally got the nerve to try again...I was gonna do IVF in February but we are also trying to adopt so whichever happens first is what we will do I'm not so picky anymore

Hey Andrea. Had my blood drawn today to see how my e2 levels were reacting to the stims. Unfortately, my numbers came back too high and to avoid ohss, they cancelled my cycle this month!!! They said I can start back in December I'm very sad and feel like it's always something in the way of my BFP. Thanks and I hope your cycle will be a success!

Bless your heart I'm so sorry hun....that is awful....maybe they should cut the dose of the meds down a little next try to see what that would do for it....



We are just doing medicated "natural" cycles without IUI or anything right now....IVF is scheduled for end of March to April-ish cycle but we are also trying to adopt in the process so we say whatever happens first is our answer....so we shall see

I pray you can start another cycle really soon after this one...
