Hey ladies :)

I'll be 30 weeks when I plan to go to the beach! It'll be around 80 degrees Fahrenheit (or 27 degrees celsius). I was wondering, is it safe to go to the beach? I'm really anal about covering up and not getting burnt, obviously drinking lots of water.

What I'm most worried about is going in the water. I know that having really really hot baths can be bad for the baby, so wouldn't it be the same with really cold ocean water?

:| Any tips for going to the beach?

Thanks!! :D

keep bump out of the sun and drink plenty and other than the water possibly giving you some BH then i think you wil be fine

hey i've recently been to egypt and tenerife and was absolutely fine. although it wasnt the sunbathing that was the problem was walking around in the heat! just take it slow :)

just stay hydrated & dont overheat/try to make sure you have plenty of shade & im sure you'll have a great time hun xx

I had three weeks on a beach in Thailand recently.....weirdly, for the first time ever, I actually wanted to stay out of the sun. Being in the water was fantastic though, especially salt water as your body is so much more buoyant and better supported in the sea. You'll have a lovely time, but do keep your bump cool - LO won't like getting too hot! I had a whole day and 1/2 of no movement after a hot afternoon by the pool and panicked like a crazy woman....everything was fine though, but save yourself the grey hairs and avoid in the first place!

Thanks ladies!

I'm so excited :) I will definitely keep the bump coool
