From what I have seen (in books and on the internet), the most likely reason for my MC (this week) was that the baby just "wasn't meant to be" and, most probably, there was nothing that could be done...
However, I know that there is a possibility that it COULD have been my hormone/chemical levels.
Is there anything that the doctors can do, at this stage (or, fingers crossed, next time I get pregnant) to keep an eye on me or to improve my chances? For example, if the miscarriage was because of my hormone/chemical levels rather than a problem with the baby?
If there is ANYTHING that we could do medically to try to encourage a healthy pregnancy next time, then we would do it. From what I have seen, doctors don't really take much of an interest in you until you have had 3 MCs...
