Iui/ ivf february and march?

angelmom- Af is due sat so I was ging to wait til sunday to get bloodwork done BUT the lab in huntsvile is closed sun....orillia might be open so I could drive there...or just wait for mon..and af is still not here then I know for sure without testing what the outcome is.
I'm not going to test at home due to the Hcg shot I had... might give a false positive!
something I had to google last cycle I had it..clinic didn't tell me that.

so I am in a 7 day limbo..trying not to stress about it...just have to wait it out..

Let us know how your scan went.......hope you have some big juicey follicles!!!

Oh chill billy the 2ww is a killer! Distract yourself as much as you can Seems like the clinic is always open at some point on the weekend so I would definitely go! If they did the iui two Saturdays ago then they will test Saturday for you... Or Sunday. Knowing me the suspense would be too much and I would take the drive in

Just waiting at ultrasound now..., yesterday I had one 21, one 18 and one 17. They triggered last night bc my E2 spiked and wanted to do ultrasound today to see how many mature follicles i would be getting. They said if its three they may cancel the cycle since I e been pregnant before and from this ovary...,, I freaking hope not! Lol time will tell I guess but the suspense is killing me sitting here!

Hey everyone, I just got my results for my second IUI and BFN... not surprised. so we are ready to move on to IVF.
Anyways i just have a question if anyone can help me with. I should be getting AF anyday now, probably feb13/14 and then we are going on vacation march 19 for a week and again april 26 for four days. not normal for us but we have a couple weddings and one south. I'm not sure how IVF all works at my clinic yet but is there anyway to take birth control pills to delay period so i don't have to miss out on an ivf for march and april.

angelmom- Hopefully you only get 2.....that would be horrible to have it cancelled!!! I would still try naturally if they did!!!

Hi ttc I know we are starting our 2ww for our last iui now and then moving onto IVF. I know our clinic has mentioned that there are many more appointments and that you have to be around and available bc depending on how you respond to meds will depend on when they do the retrieval. I would call your IVF clinic and tell them your schedule and I'm sure they will help make a plan for you. Also if worse came to worst and you needed to miss the vacation would you be willing to do that? If not maybe just use the next couple months to unwind and do IVF afterwards... Just a thought but I know if your anything like me you won't want to wait

Chilly billy I had two eggies ( 19 and 21) they triggered but are waiting for my lh to surge. Did an iui last night, blood this morning and iui tonight

TTC babybump- I know they put me on BC to delay my period for IUI, and I seem to remember someone saying they did it for IVF on another thread, but don't quote me on that. Call your doctors office and ask, that's the best way to k know for sure.

angelmum- Did you have Dr. Will? he always makes jokes about spermies being like Michael Phelps..hahaha ( olympic swimmer).... I have fingers crossed for you...and thank goodness not more then 3 eggies!!!
I am tempted to test on my own on cd28 14dpiui and 16 days past trigger.....

That's what the doctors office called it lol it's the first ultrasound to start the IUI process. I'm so excited, lol I have no patience!

Its very exciting counting follicles, leading up to ovulation, giving yourself the trigger shot( if needed).... the iui process is quick and easy...
then the 2ww.....
aahhhhhhh its a nightmare..haha ( if you haveHCG shot you may get pregnancy symptoms...I did) that makes the 2ww even more fun..hahaha

keep us updated on how it ALL goes!!!!!! and GL

Chill billy I have dr will too and yes he always makes jokes about Michael had my iui the day prior to ovulation and the morning after ovulation. Dud ultrasound yesterday morning right before ovulation and I released my two eggs and had a third that was 20mm but since my levels were dropping they don't think it will release. I'm really happy we ended up getting two eggs and had a smooth cycle. My dh count was good for the first iui but lower for the second which makes me confident in our decision to move forward to IVF next month if we have to.... Fingers crossed that's not the case though
How are you feeling? And I would definitely test 14 post iui.... Will you test today then? Keep me posted!!! I know I had a negative test with Elizabeth and had blood that morning and i was positive!

Thanks everyone , had my appointment yesterday and i am thinking of cancelling my trip to vegas if its possible to start an ivf cycle, i think my hubby will still go as he is in the wedding party. also doctor said they like patients to take 7-10 days off after ivf, not sure if that is after retrieval or when they put the embryos back in. another appointment next friday to see when we will be able to start and how all the meds and everything will work for us. It is so crappy not having the iui's work but it is great that they go me in so quickly after to learn about ivf and get started asap. Goff luck with everyone on your journy's. I look forward to following up and seeing lots of bfp's

Good luck with your 2ww angelmum-.... mine is almost over... i have been testing nd yesteray/ this morning both negative.... I have been cramping ( also cramped when pregnant before) and have a pink spot last time i did internal toilet paper check.. have that icky feeling just before the witch shows..... but felt the same before as well....
ahhhhh doing my head in... trying to feel positive..and what you said about eg test but positive bloods makes me feel better!
will let you know asap either way tommorrow or sunday!

ttcbabybump- that sounds like a good plan..... I have taken many breaks for trips..and at the time I needed them.. but now thinking I have run out of good eggs.( i am 42 this July).I wish I could have those cycles back....( I did have amazing trips tho...haha)

The got me feb 16th.
I have lot of stress in my life right now... We've decided to stop IUI for a few months.... I'll use Ovulation tests and try to BD on fertile days.... just no scans, blodwork... just some stress free fun times!! haha
Then will be back may/june maybe!!

I hope to see sem of you ladies wih BFP..... All ( about 90% ) of the girls on my friends list got pregnant after befriending me.....just saying..

I'm so sorry chill billy I know how frustrating it is when you get a Bfn. I think it's great that you have decided to take some time off from IUIs and try the old fashion way. ... The no stress alone from no appointments would be great for you! I'm keeping everything crossed that things work out for you in the spring

Ttc baby bump I may be right behind you on IVF journey. I'm on my 2ww now and if we aren't successful then it's right onto IVF. I think that's great that you have managed to start IVF even if some plans had to change.... I'm sure it will be worth it for you!!! Keep me posted on how everything is going

I still have a week and three days of waiting until testing :s I've been keeping busy so that's helped and also knowing that we have something new ( IVF) next month has made me very positive too time shall tell ...

sorry to hear that chilly...Well now it's time to have some stress free & enjoyable moments. I went to clinic today, they did swab test for chlamydia (for some reason it was extremely painful even though it only took less than a minute?) We are anxciously waiting for DH's SFA Result (crossing fingers) I asked about the trigger shots and their anwer was a big firm NO ! They only recommend/ use triggers if you choose to have COH. Now I am confused maybe we should try COH instead of IUI. What do you think ladies? before IUI should should we abstain from BD 3-7 days to have better swimmers?
I am so nervous and scared now. But at the same time I want to get the IUI done asap.

We were always told to abstain 2-3 days for our iui and that seemed to do the trick for some good swimmers. The second iui the following day was obviously only 24 hours do the count is always much lower. When will you have your iui?

COH is Controlled Ovarian Stimulation. If you choose IUI they don't monitor you with an ultrasound and they don't use triggers. But if you choose COH you get them all
Well it all depends when we get SFA results. I will (hopefully ) ovulate Feb 24- 25 if the results are good then they we will get it done on sunday-monday. OMG we only have few days left
