Redder I had never heard of COH ... So they don't monitor u at all for iui?

I just had CD21 bloodtest and that is pretty much it. They told me to give them a call when I have a +OPK. I will start testing for ovulation tomorrow. I am glad at least they put me on clomid

redder, do you usually O by CD21? Do you generally have long cycles?

AFM, I am still waiting on AF my cycles range from 30 to 40 days...Im on CD37 hoping she shows up soon. Have any of you ladies done injectibles? If so, any advise?

So Redder do you start the ovulation strips as soon as you start your period?

Krysten I have done two months of injectables and the rest were just femara. The first month they did progressing femara and injectables starting afterwards but I got one cyst but the next month with just injectables I got three mature follicles and two definitely released everyone responds so differently to injectables but it can definitely increase your chances by having more than one egg. Also it's a good idea to try before IVF since you are on similar drugs and they want to determine an appropriate dose for you.

Hi Ladies,
I have been freaking out about the whole situation and I forgat to add more details. Today is cd 13. I did the CD 21 bloodtest at the beginning of Feb. It showed that I ovulated last month on CD16. My cycles are usually between 30-35 days. I ovulate sometime between days 16-21 (if ovulation occurs!!!)
clinic told me to start using OPK strips on cd 13. I had a VERY FAINT second line this morning ( or I was hallucinating I supposed to call them when I have a +opk. they didn't tell me anything else. So I may get iui done in the weekend or next month. not knowing if it is going to happen is so stressful. I am just praying for +opk....

Fingers crossed for you redder!! The way your fertility clinic works is so different then Canada... It would be stressful to have to monitor yourself! Hopefully you get a nice bright positive tomorrow

Hubby's result: Low motility

I have just talked to my re, it seems like clomid stopped working.
I am out this month. I hope next month will be our lucky month.

Sorry Redder hopefully its just late ovulation.

I tested this morning and got a negative.... And had blood work just completed so hopefully we will get a confirmation today and then into IVF :s

Redder, what do they mean clomid stopped working? How many cycles were you on it?

Angelmom is this your first IVF? Super exciting! What cd are you on?

AFM, finally started spotting on Saturday! AF should be here in full force by tomorrow...soooo ready to get this iui started.

I am sad to hear that you got a negative however I am so excited about your ivf We will be celebrating your bfp here soon I can't wait to try IVF in the summer.

@krystn: I have been on clomid since july (in my signature) Normally doctors don't recommend it after 6 months but to be able to try IUI this month (on January) I was taking clomid 100 mg cd 3-7. There is a possibility that I need 150mg or I have a luteal phase defect. CD 21 bloodtest will tell us more about it

Thanks ladies for the support. It's a double edge sword.....I'm exited to move forward and have much higher chances of success but sad that we have to do IVF. If it works then it will be all worth it and since we have been pregnant before and my age we have a high success rate so fingers crossed.
I should hear from the clinic today about what my protocol for IVF is and just waiting for my monthly witch to come!
