IVF 2WW Anybody?!?!

HI Turkey, I'm doing good, I've decided to forget about all the worry, and just enjoy the days before the big yes or no. I'm feeling good, other than feeling hot at night and pee a lot at night, it felt like ET never happened. Oh, I dream all night too. Not sure if they could be counted vivid dreams No cramps, it is just very quiet right now. The only day I felt some mild pinch and twinges were on 3dp3dt, and then nothing after that. I saw some other girls had sore throat during their 2ww, maybe it is a good sign for you?? Actually I have good feelings for you, I visited your blog, and the 2 embies look very good quality. Did you find out how many frosties you have??

Hi hoitytoity, I'm also at 2ww for my second IVF. Today is 7dp3dt. Do you feel any different this time than the first IVF?? I feel pretty much the same except for the first IVF I felt more twinges earlier on. This time just really quiet. How many embryos did you transfer? Good luck to you!!

Good choice Bullymom!!! I think positive is the way to go. Do I have a blog?? I'm kinda new to all this message board stuff! I did post a pic of my "babes" though. We transferred 3...2 were fertilized naturally (top 2) and one w/ rescue ICSI. They never gave me "grades", but they said they looked good.

I think your symptoms seem pretty darn promising ..

Hi ladies,

Been stalking your posts. Just wanted to say good luck to all of you! I haven't done IVF yet, dh and I are flip flopping between IVF and pursuing adoption. Also just wanted to say I'M A BULLY MOMMY TOO I love my babies, most loving dogs I could ask for. Anyway, best of luck to everyone.

Where are you at, and what are your symptoms??? It's soooo frustrating when you think for sure you've got a legit symptom, then you remember it could be the meds...I'm on PIO shots and estrace. How bout you??

hahaha. i am on a constant reminder that i/m on meds cos i have to take them up where the sun doesn't shine (if u know what i mean) heehee. i am on estrofem & crinone & utrogestan. sounds like quite a bit now that i list them out.

symptoms include itchy (.)(.), occasional nausea, hot flushes now & then and stinky pee. hahaha (sorry if tmi!!)

Sorry I was mistaken. I saw some one else's embryo picture and for some reason my mind just linked it with you Could I count forgetful and confusing as a sign??? LOL......

They look great!! I don't know how to count the cells from picture, but it looks like one of them has fewer cells than the other two, but that one looks like a really good quality though. I know they like big even cells and as less fragmentations as possible. Do you know how many cells they are? Mine are 6,7 and 8 cells. And all of mine has fragmentations (two 15%, one 25%), so mine are not top of the grades.

The top two had 8 cells each...they were 2 of 3 that fertilized naturally. The 3rd was one of 3 that were able to be "rescue-ICSI'd". That little firecracker looked better than the 3rd of the originally fertilized so it won itself a spot in the line-up!! It had 4 cells in the pic, but literally split to 6 minutes before the transfer!!!

My practice didn't go into much detail as far as grading and fragmentation etc. They just told me mine looked good and were where they were supposed to be...

oh no. so sorry to hear that shells. so encouraged by yr positive attitude! yes. we have to move onward regardless the result!

Turkey: your embies look beautiful!! as bullymom said, i've got good vibes for u too! mine looks all over the place. not so nice n evenly divided like yr's. which is why i was so disappointed even before the transfer... then my doc told me to suck it up & be positive. lol

bullymom: hi hi! thanks for being so welcoming! we're cycle buddies!! i only had 1 emby transferred cos the other two eggies didn't make it past the fertilisation stage . my 1st ivf was totally symptom-less. but i didn't have that much support post transfer. it was just the crinone gel. i did it way back in 2011. had to stop for a year plus cos had cysts growing in both ovaries. plus i had a history of ovarian cancer, so docs are a lot more cautious in proceeding with my case.

so all these symptoms are pretty new to me. have a few more to add to the already gross list (If u babes dun mind.... hahahaha) slight cramping, a little more gassy than usual & super restless. once i get up for a wee at 3-4am, i can't get back to sleep... sigh...

turkey: how many days are u into yr 2ww? sometimes the short forms tax my poor wee brain too much!
bullymom: don't ever lose hope! no symptoms doesn't mean anything! how's it going now for u? when's your BT?

are u babes working or are u doing lots of R&R? i'm pigging out at home & am trying not to move around so much. i heard keeping yr tummy & toes warm helps. hahaha. no harm trying

hoitytoity - I wasn't in an IVF TWW but wanted to keep some company while i waited - i can't afford IVF and can only dream of winning the lotto to get it lol x I've been trying for 12 years - long and complicated story lol x

This morning I had horrible AF cramps.... actually it started last night I started to feel that I'm getting AF, I had mild cramps and my back hurt really bad if I stand up for more than few mins. I know I kept complaining about not having any symptoms, but the cramp this morning really freak me out. I hope it's not my body trying to get rid of the embryos (if they implant).

hoity: My embryos are not top grade either, but I'm praying they will stick, sometimes miracles happen As for resting, I only rest on the couch the day of transfer. DH works overseas, and came home for for 2 weeks just for the ER and ET, so we have a lot of errands to do, and plus my RE only said to take it easy after the first day, so DH didn't think it is necessary for me to stay at home and do nothing, (even though I would like to take it really really really easy) so we went out every day, lots of car ride, lots of walking, even when I am at home, I have to cook the meals, clean up....etc. But no heavy lifting though, I make sure of that. I told myself moving around would promote the blood flow, as long as not too intense it should be fine.

How are you feeling Bullymom?? Where are you at in the 2ww?? Can't remember when your test date is. Are you going to POAS??

ooo.. so excited for u turkey! my prayers are with you!! keep us posted about yr results! my beta is this coming monday. long way to go still

bullymom: don't worry abt the cramping. some pple say it may be implantation cramps, so view it as a positive thing! i am also getting mild cramps still

shells: i understand yr situation better now. but even with no ivf, the 2ww for ttc naturally is equally frustrating! how abt taking some meds that will aid yr quest to haf a bb? like just a couple of shots of the stimulation medicines? do they allow that?

i have no more symptoms as of yesterday. dunno if that's a good thing or not. (.)(.) back to normal and everything else stopped cept' for the hot flush on & off & cramps. trying not to overthink stuff now.

Today is my 9dp3dt, beta is Thursday. I'm not going to poas so I can have few more happy days if god forbid it doesn't work.
