Hi guys - just popping my head in to say congratulations to bullymom & Turkey

Good luck to everyone TTC whether it's IVF or not, it's such a hard thing to live through. I tried for 5 years after my son was born and ended up giving up until I remarried years later. After the last 2 years TTC we went through IVF this year and were so lucky when it worked. I can honestly say that the last couple of years have been the hardest and the IVF process is not to be taken lightly. I would have loved friends like you while I was going through all the dreaded waiting.. you are a great support team!
I really wish you guys all the luck in the world. x

suzie: love your u/s picture!! The baby looks super cute I totally agree with you, ttc is a hard thing to live through. I've been ttc since 2009 and this is my first bfp ever, I'm so nervous and scared, I hope this will be a sticky bean(s).

Do you guys mind if I pop in now and then and see how it's going?
I hate to sound like an old hand at this, because I'm totally not, but if anyone needs any advice/opinion at all in the early weeks, I'm so happy to help!

Oh I do I do!! I need advice!!! Is it okay to do the cleaning work around the house? I need to vacuum really bad, and did do some vacuum 2 days ago. But I'm a little worried by pushing and pulling the heavy vacuum machine is not good for the babies. Since I live by myself (dh working overseas) most of the time, I need to do all the house work by myself. DH thought of hiring a maid, but I want to save some money by doing it myself if it is safe.

Also how much physical activities can I do? Can I walk my dogs? I haven't got any earlier pregnancy instruction from my doctor because I only had 1 beta done. Today will be the second beta and I won't know the result until tomorrow.

BUllymom.. I was told not to vacuum until after the 12 week mark - esp if it's a really heavy one, then prob not at all! Walking the dogs is fine, in fact walking is considered the only safe exercise until 12 weeks as well. But the list of what you shouldn't do is HUGE, and to be honest I stuck to it religiously. I figured after everything you go through with IVF it's not worth taking any chances...
If your DH offered a cleaner I would totally take him up on that! You'll be so grateful once the exhaustion kicks in I wish we could afford one!

No vacuum?? Maybe I'll sweep instead. Cleaner sounds expensive, I wish I have family around to help out

Hey Bullymom.. To get past 12 weeks feels like a huge stress has been lifted! I know there's no guarantees at all, but it's such a relief to be here And apart from evening sickness (that started at 11 weeks!) & tiredness, I feel tons better physically too.

Must be hard for you with no family nearby and DH working away. But you can call people for moral support if you need to?
And have you had your second beta yet?

thanks bullymom & turkey. i'm now waiting for the results to be out. it's been 4 hours past my blood being drawn & still no word yet. feel like the kid in the backseat who keeps chanting 'are we there yet?' only that this time, it's "why still no call yet?" argh!!! going absolutely nuts!

got the call. bawled my eyes out. BFN. but managed to pick up the pieces quite fast and am ready to move on. but still my heart gladdens at the thought that there are 2 mommies to be! u ladies take care & have beautiful babies yah!

Thank you sweetie! I'm 11 weeks after my first ICSI try and 3 years TTC I just tend to hide my ticker in the LTTTC forum in case it upsets anyone
