Hi Ladies , had a few questions about Ivf. I know it can be costly, but i have noticed some people do cycles with FET. When you do these transfers do you pay for each time?
thnaks!:thumbup::hugs:

yes you do - the cost depends on the clinic

these are prices for the clinic im going too..

Embryo freezing including first year’s storage £850
Additional year storage fee (payable per annum) £300

Frozen embryo transfer £900
plus HFEA fee £104.50

Egg Freezing (Vitrification Method)
Egg retrieval and freezing using vitrification method including first year’s storage £3210

These prices are very high, most london prices are higher than others. But it will give you a rough idea

muncho, do you have to pay if you are getting it funded thru NHS??

Is it cheaper then a regular ivf cycle if you use frozen embryos?

Yes, generally much cheaper...A Stim cycle is the first cycle you need, which is all about the injections and the egg collection and fertilisation and transfer. A FET is much easier as you can avoid all that and just thaw a frozen embryo...But you're first cycle will need to be a Stim as you have no frozen bubs to transfer.

its normally a few humderd pounds, again depends on the clinic

find a clinis near you and have a look at their prices..
