IVF - When Anncounce BFP?

Hi everyone

Last quicky question for IVF peeps -

When did you announce your pregnancy to friends/family? After how many weeks/months?

12 weeks after the first scan... I didnt announce it but we stopped hiding it, I just change my online status to expecting and over the next 3 weeks just got load of messages like 'your kidding', 'really' and 'since when' etc...

next time im looking into cuter ways, I think for my parents im going to do the t-shirt thing with my son (just get a t-shirt that says big brother)

not sure about the others yet

Yeah, I saw that on uTube. Some people announce it with T-Shirts which is so cool

When we got the BFP after the 2nd IVF we told family straight away as they knew about the treatment. When we realised that it was molar we then had to let them know that too which was really hard. If we are lucky enough to get a BFP again I wont believe it myself until I see a healthy baby on the scan. I certainly wont be sharing it any wider than close family until we are well over 12 weeks xx
