January JellyBean mummies

OK ladies, need you moral support. Mackenzie is cluster feeding this evening. She's fed at 18:46, 19:22, 20:03, 21:09, 21:50, 22:20. I'm feeling so frustrated!!!!! I have been feeding and winding for the last 4 hours!

Hodbert - yes we got his passport sorted it is due to arrive first week of feb. We are also Hoping to get him a uk passport too as DH is british. Are you nervous to travel with baby? I am Sooopo nervous to be on a plane that long. So worried he will cry and fuss the whole time!! Also nervous to be away from he comforts of home.

Holly's passport arrived today!! :happydance: Although on her photo she looks like a hamster and she's going to have it for 5 years! Crazy! :dohh: I am also going to apply for a UK passport but not until we move back home in September as she doesnt need it for travelling and its will just be easier to do when we are in the UK. I am nervous about travelling with her, hope she doesnt cry too much. We have booked a bassinet seat so at least we'll be able to put her in that - have you done the same thing?

Ok ladies, I bit the bullet and took some pics, wouldnt want to upset Regina :winkwink: !! Can't believe I'm posting these! So I put on 3 stone during my pregnancy and have now lost just over 2, 10lb left to go and a lot of saggy tummy!

At 39 weeks, just beofre Holly was born:

Looking good hodbert! Your stretch marks are far better looking than mine. Mine look like scars and are really deep :-(

Welcome over central perk. Hazel is gorgeous!! That was out girl name! Love it!

Hodbert - we have not booked a bassinet seat. I may call and ask if they have one but it was never offered to us. Who are you flying with? We ate flying with American airlines. Kieran's Canadian passport only lasts 3 years but we can renew I once for no cost in those 3 years if we choose.

kieran is having more and more alert time each day where we can put him down and he just plays and is happy. His eye is all better now too guess the dropping of boobie milk in there worked!! Has anyone seen the documentary babies?? It is really neat. It really shows that all babies truly need is the necessities and not all the extras.

Jade- did alex settle last night?

He did a 4 hour sleep :wohoo: then it was every 2 hours. not too bad! Your night?

My real name is Catherine or cat works too!

Hi Cat!

 are you on FB? I can be found I'd you put in my email addy [email protected]

Catherine is on my FB :)

Hey girlies!

Firstly central perk welcome over and Hazel is so cute! :flower:

Sarah how is the AF now?

To all of you commenting about BFing thanks muchly! I have resorted to odd amounts of formula just so I can see how much he is actuall having but I don't wanna stop BFing as I enjoy it! Its just time consuming lol and then he doesnt really wanna go down after it. Think I have a bit of a thing about stopping feeding him even if I am finding it hard. Jaxck says its all in my head but I so want it to work.

Do you think I am making it worse by doing the odd formula bottle? I'm worried my supply will slow but I have been expressing a bit in between too. At least one boob once a day. Only seem to get an ounce tho really. Quite a pathetic amount and its really disheartening!!

Had a very unsettled baby last night after having mum and sister round nearly all day. Jack was cross they stayed so late and said thats why Toby was like he was. I ended up taking him for a drive to settle him at 10 and then he slept till half 1 and had a 3oz formula bottle and then slept till half 6 and had boobie milk and then he went back down at half 7 till 20 past 9.

I'm worried I am shooting myself in the foot with the occasional formula feed so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

xxxx

The more you pump the more you get. Also your hormones are at their height in the middle of the night! Pumping at 2am will work wonders :)

Alexander will take about 3 or 4 oz expressed milk at once at the mo. If you are using formula, try and express the feed you would have fed him at the same time to trick your body into still producing the same supply xx

bleeding a lot better now thanks Jade, now would really like to get some sleep but Joe is really unsettled, not sure if he needs a poo or if its from injections earlier
he wont go down in his moses basket. I wouldnt mind but we are going to Devon really stupidly early tomorrow and ive got nothing ready .... Come on Joe, do it for mummy..Daddy and big brother are fast asleep!

Jolene if it's any conselation Fearne feeds non stop for hours every evening! On the plus side she seems to stock up then between 10-12pm settles then goes 3-4 hours at night between feeds. Sounds like Mackenzie may be having a growth spurt if it's unusual for her. Your not alone tho my nipples are like pencils from all this feeding too ;-) x

Quinn passed his hearing test. Glad that is done and over with. Oh was mildly worried and was freaking me out by snapping his fingers next to quinns head and if he didn't respond |OH would just give me that look like hes worried. But all is good!!! yay!!!!

Yey! Go Quinn!

af is better now, still heavy but more manageable
leanne he is amazingly gorgeous, going to Devon tomorrow so wont be on as often this weekend, gonna see my sister and her 3 kids and my dad

Hope you have a lovely time but what we going to do without you on here Sarah, its going to be soooooo quiet!!!! :haha:

Have a good time Sar!

Lisa, cant post pics as OH has just dropped the camera on the floor and bloody broke it :(

ive just realised that im an imposter... not even a January Jellybean, and almost not a December one even, was very nearly a November baby how funny!

He's asleep in his basket, good night ladies, just some advice.. buy some maternity pads for first AF

night night xx

:hugs: Jolene - hope the cluster feeding passes soon

Jade - glad you got some sleep. Kieran fed at 12, 3, 5 and 8. Pretty typical. His night feeds are pretty good in that once he feeds, change bum, swaddle him and lay him between us he is usually back asleep very fast. Fingers crossed I havent just jinxed it!

Thanks for adding me Lisa!

Thanks Lisa. Somehow I was lucky and didn't get any stretchies  but Kieran was almost 2 weeks early so that may have had something to do with it.
