Has anyone heard of the Sleep Sheep?? We got one and it works wonders!!! I reckon I got about 7 hours of broken sleep last night :happydance:

Jojo- dont feels bad about the cough syrup Hun! A happy/healthy mummy makes a happy baby!

Amanda Holden is a presenter on britains got talent on tv. She lost last baby at 4 months. This time she had little movement then later baby was still born. Very very sad! X

Thanks for posting the website Laura. The sleep sheep makes different calming noises. We used to do the loud ssshhhhing (happiest baby on the block) to get Kieran to nod off but it didn't alwAys work. Last night after each feed we would cuddle Kieran for a bit that lay him in between us and turn the sleep sheep on and he would nod off so quickly to the calming noises.

On a funny note - this morning I was trying to get Kieran to smile and instead he just stuck his tongue out at me  I'm just the milk lady ha ha

Sheep sheep looks very interesting!! I could have done with that last night, Oliver was seriously fighting to not sleep, and he won... until i stuck him in his swing :D Hes only just started to like it in the past week.

id love a swing for Joe but they are so expensive! been a long day today, very unsettled baby, going to bed soon:sleep:

I know what you mean, we got ours from babies r us for £40, it was in the sale. Bargain apart from when we put the batteries in it wouldn't work and i had thrown the box and receipt away. OH managed to pull it apart and fix it thank goodness! LO is currently fast asleep in it, its going to cost me a fortune in batteries.

£40 is excellent, i must look around for a bargain!

I got one from Freecycle but it was crap, took it to the dump yesterday, bits missing and really rickety

Need to ask a question, i know Joe is a lot older than some of your babies but ive been having a terrible time with bleeding, bled for 6 weeks then got period at 8 weeks since period i had a totally bleed free time (6-8 weeks spotting) this morning we :sex: and im bleeding again, not loads but enough to fill a panty liner... would you say this is ok or if it were you would you go to the Drs? im not sure what to think, feels like ive been bleeding for months!

I don't think I'd worry about the bleeding yet Sarah, it had stopped so you may find it does again by tomorrow or the next day, sometimes my period would do that so I used to not dtd for a couple of days after period stopped. I have no idea what it is that makes us bleed so long sometimes. After coreys birth I bled for about 3 days then had spotting on and off up to baby being 2 weeks old thats it. I'm still bleeing at nearly 3 weeks this time its all very random!

Hope it stops, if your still bleeding by the end of the week maybe ask your gp if you can have something to stop it?? x

Hi ladies! Pretty please may I join you? My little girl Katie was born on 14th January and here is a link to my birth story :)

I would see how it goes maybe? I have no idea though to be honest sorry. Im still bleeding at 5 weeks, i thought it had stopped but it came back

Great idea Sarah, not exactly sure what to write but here goes.....

I'm Laura. I live in Ontario, Canada and I have 2 children...My daughter Tessa is 2 and my son Quinn is almost 1 month. Both my children stopped growing during pregnancy and are considered IUGR (intrauternine growth restricted) My daughter weighed 4lbs 13oz and my son was 5lbs 3oz. I'm a breastfeeding and part-time co-sleeping mommy.

Do you think thats too much for the front page?

I'll do mine while I'm up doing the night feed, I'm a little tired and have only one eye open so forgive any mistakes!

I am Jo, I'm 31 from Sheffield, mum to Corey 4 and my January baby Fearne. I live in Sheffield, I am in final year of adult nursing course and I'm breastfeeding my beautiful baby!

Hope that's what you was thinking! X

OMG what an aweful eveing this has been. Quinn has been pretty gassy these last few days and ive been giving him gripe water twice a day to help ease it but its not really been working. hes been cluster feeding because of it but not really eating much which I think has been making it worse because hes probably only getting the foremilk which makes him gassier.

Tonight has been the worst. Screaming in horrible pain. The gripe water didn't seem to help at all so I went out to the pharmacy and got some Oval. It says it works quickly but Quinn still kept screaming for a little over an hour and the only thing that calmed him down was being on the boob. Needless to say my nips are killing me now but if it helped him feel better and calm him down....he was getting the boob.

He has finally settled and its now midnight....which is better than the 2am he has been settleing at these last few days but he had never screamed as bad as he did tonight. i was literally crying with him. I hate knowing hes in pain like that. Its aweful.

I sure hope the oval works better and quicker tomorrow. I can give it to him up to 3 times a day but ill try to start off with once a day...maybe like 9pm when it all seems to start. Wish me luck that this stuff works ladies....Quinn needs it....and so do I!
