Oliver slept 5 hours straight last night, that 2 extra hours where lovely! I didn't even wake up to crying either, he was happily singing away to himself in the crib next to me. haha

OH came home from work last night and told me hes booked off work until a week tomorrow

Awww thats lovely emily. Toby is the same he doesn't always wake up crying I usually get woken up by 'chattering' noises and grunting lol! And great news about the other half. Enjoy your time!

Hello ladies!

Sarah, front page looks fab! I've been missed though I'll go back later and find my waffle lol but I need the other hand to c & p and its currently occupied with a feeding Phoebe, or fifi as the kids have nicknamed her!

I cant believe shes 4 weeks already! Shes slept 11pm to 4am the last 2 nights yay! and she weighed 8lb 13 yesterday so I'm really pleased. I feel like I can relax and enjoy bf now if that makes sense?

I have just found out that eating chocolate gives Bryce a tummy ache! Poor little thing has been fussing all day so far. He hasn't slept much at all. I feel so guilty that o have done this too him. no more chocolate for me, which isn't a bad thing I suppose as maybe I will lose a bit of weight!

Last night was pretty good. I didn't hear any of the screaming. He did do soe screaming while i ws gone out thou. I think maybe it is the timmies! i drank half of one last night but it didnt seem to affect him so ill try thr other half today and see how it goes.

Sorry to hear Naomi. I refuse to believe chocolate is anything but good for Mackenzie, lol

I just could not master the sling so I went today to exchange it for the Kango pouch. So easy and comfy. Can't wait to use it but right now it's too hot to consider it.

All you ladies who use slings I've got a material one and haven't used it yet. I have been using my baby bjorn which he loves but want to try my other one.

Also I have a maya one that someone gave me still in the packet with the instruction dvd. I don't know if any of you are interested? Let me know if you are.

In other news Toby and me went to baby clinic today my little porker now weighs 8lb 9oz! Thats a gain of 11 oz in 8 days!! Still maintaining the 9th centile so all good. He pee'd all over the mat though lol. Don't think he likes HV's hehehe

Also he was fussing when we got home and had had his 4oz bottle before we left the clinic. Now I haven't latched him on since last friday as he seemed to have lost his latch but I know my boobs are still producing a little bti of milk so rather than make up a little bottle for him I tried him on my boob and he sucked for about 10 mins then drifted off to sleep. Hooray for sleeping boobie milk! Lol. Felt lovely to bf again too so might keep doing it at odd times particularly if he is searching for a top up after bottles and we're at home. Nice little bonding session and it meant I was able to sit and read my book for half an hour so I'm all chilled!!

Naomi thats poo about chocolate, could it be the caffeine in it? I said this to laura that caffeine used to upset toby's stomach.

Pinkie congrats on the chunk of sleep! It makes you feel human doesn't it!!

Laura glad Quinn settled a bit better for you hunny.

My child is really doing my head in today, anyone want a really naughty toddler?

Alex is now 9 pounds 13 oz which is on 25th centile and HV been piping on about him dropping a centile.... WTF shut up silly cow he has gained 3 pounds since birth plus replacing what he lost what the hell is wrong with that?? And he is not 6 weeks yet!

I have cut out a lot of caffiene but used to be a tea-head before going off it when pregnant ( used to knock out 10 LARGE mugs a day!!! ) and have only just re-discovered it again - tried to have just one cup a day and thinking that even that is too much for Ollie - gutted as I LOVE tea!!

Got discharged from MW today and went for 2nd proper walk with pram so baby steps in the right direction.

Hey girls anyone Want another baby? She is going in a carpark if not! She is fussing and feeding and ragging my nips for hours now, she thrown up a load once already and I feel like I've been mauled by a tiger not fed a 3 week old baby!

I've finally got her to take a dummy and she's settled and nodded off, not ideal if she needs to build my milk supply but she been awful scratching and pulling and wriggling and snapping when latching on. I've plenty of milk it's not that she's not getting enough! Anyone else had this? What a horrible evening its been! X

Jade - I think Alex's weight gain is superb. Kieran will be weighed again tomorrow but is probably just over 8lbs now. You should be very proud!!!
