how many bottles does one sachet do?

Well the expressing seems to be going ok I can get about 1oz but managed 2 this morning should I start to make more as I pump more, Mia has been on my boob since 9.30 I managed 10 minutes to get dressed but I really want a bath don't think that's going to happen today, on the up side oh is decorating abbys room so she is happily helping him she's such a Daddy's girl

I feed it direct but one sachet is meant to go in a minimum of 115ml milk which is more than he can take so ive only given every other feed

Yes the more you do it the more you will tell your body to make. It can take a few days for your body to send the singals though.

OH is awake now and looked after Olly while i made dinner, unfortunatly if i left OH to make his own food he would starve to death . He can make his own buttys for work tonight though. Im going to put his washing to the side too, he can sort that. Im just going to do Olivers for now. When he runs out of clothes (that he likes) he does actually get off his bum and do the washing but he always manages to crease things like reaaally badly!! Anyway, i feel a bit better now i have food in me and have a clean kitchen! Managed to sort a few things out in my head too.

It took my boobs a couple of days to get used to expressing, after that it just flowed out.

PinkEmily - I would be putting a stop to it hun, give yourself as break and tell him to pull his weight!

I need to start expressing for my freezer stock pile, but I cant be arsed... lol

If im BFing I mix t with water if im give ebm I add to the milk

i seee, does he take it ok in the water? try giving less and see if it stops him being sick but also easing the constipation, thats what we did with Joe but if i gave him too little he was still sick

He takes 6oz every four hours today and one stint of five hours. Hoping this happens tonight. Have you tried giving Joe 2oz burping him then giving another 2?

Jolene i remember you saying you had a problem with evening cluster feeds. Does it just one day not happen? Since HV said it was likely colic and I giving a dose of dentinox in the evening she isn't attacking me whilst she's feeding anymore but she is still feeding for 4 solid hours every evening. I just want to be sure there is an end to it and I can cope!

Try feeding in side lying position if you think its the flow of milk causing baby toscream or try holding baby with feet between your legs so they are upright if you think its reflux (sorry cant remember whos baby has reflux and who does not!)

Jo-jo: Try using a pacifier yet? She might just be comfort sucking. If the constant feeding is hurting you it will help give yor nips a chance to breathe/heal.

Kieran gained another 8 oz this week! He has been so happy the past few days since we put him back on he probiotic drops. It is so nice! He is back to sleeping good, eating good and pooping regularly!!

We leave for the UK on Friday!!

Well as of tomorrow i will be. Ive already told him he is going to put Oliver to sleep tomorrow because hes not done it before. As of 4am tomorrow he will be off work for 3 days. I don't mind him chilling out a bit when he is working but when hes on his days off he can pull his weight. Ive told him im going to start working next month too. I think that took him by surprise! Its only at my dads company so i am very flexible with hours but i need to start earning my own money again, i hate asking OH for money!! Will miss Olly like mad though better get training OH up he wont know whats hit him!!

Yea, doctor said she might be colicky, and possible reflux... but she's been doing so well! Sarai is a bit better throughout the day, but the night feeds are not going so well. I'll see how the rest of the day goes.

There are quite a few reflux babies around here huh? I'm glad Quinn has been doing better! A lot of the screaming seems to be because the milk isn't flowing as fast as she wants (even though there's plenty there because I can manually express it very easily) Maybe I have a lazy baby! lol I tried compressions to speed up, but it had no effect on her. If its really bad again tonight, I'm calling doctor in the morning

Hi all.. Hope everyone is well. I'm keeping up with the emails I just seem to be all over the place at the moment and don't seem to get any further than email notifications and facebook in terms of replying!!

Giuseppe is back to work tomorrow so I'm a little scared but my mum is coming for lunch so no doubt she will help a little.

Also going to Baby Clinic tomorrow for Sofia to be weighed which should be good. She goes 15 mins on the breast (or as long as I can keep her there and interested) and then I offer a 4oz feed, which she sometimes finishes but sometimes leaves up to 60mls.
She was 7lb 1oz on Monday so will be interesting to see the change this week.
