I know it is really early, but I feel like joining you all.

Little back story, For my son (who is now 8) it took over 3 years TTC.

Tried a couple years with my husband, and decided to buy a dog and forget the baby project. Mentally I could not handle the failed attempts every month and so we brought our baby Border collie, Lincoln into the fold.

KNowing very well I could not handle if we BD'd during O time and wondering if it 'COULD' be positive, I avoided BD'ing at all during O time.
This month, we accidently bd'd -3 days before ovulation. I was very skeptical anything would happen, as we've bd'd LOTS of better timing for months/years and only 2 very early miscarriages (since my son).

Low and behold....a BFP at 10dpo (I think).

Today's test is darker and seems to be going in the right direction.

So August 18th, is my official due date!

They said baby measuring 5wks 6days but she did say at this stage and very unreliable with measurements, saw the heartbeat aswell so that eased my mind still don't stop me worrying that I'm a little behind xx

They said baby measuring 5wks 6days but she did say at this stage and very unreliable with measurements, saw the heartbeat aswell so that eased my mind still don't stop me worrying that I'm a little behind xx

Glad your scan went well. With my son I was suppose to be 8 weeks exactly ( I think) but he measured 6 weeks 5 days. And then he ended up being 2 weeks ahead or so later on and over due lol. Not telling you not to worry but I'm sure baby is thriving just fine do you have any guesses on whether baby is boy or girl?

Congratulations on the scan @tdog measurements are so inaccurate at this stage so I wouldn't worry. Your 12 weeks will put you right. And yay for little hb

I needed to share this test, after so many years, I don't think I've ever had a test this dark, much less at 12dpo (my pregnancy with my son I took only 1 FRER at 10dpo)

I'm feeling hopeful.

I’ve become quite the ramzi specialist on my due date group.

Was it abdominal or internal @tdog?

If it was an internal scan - I vote boy based on the Ramzi theory.

Lord when I had my son, 9 years almost ago, I knew all the theories, and the trimesters and now I feel like a complete NEWBIE. I can't remember anything

I don't even know when the second trimester begins anymore. LOL

But I'm sure you guys will help me out when the time comes HAHA

So many people think it’s based on baby position, top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right and they’re wrong.
The ramzi theory is about the PLACENTA location - so around your uterus find the thickest and darkest white and that’ll be your placenta.

TV ultrasounds are mirror imaged which makes it a little harder but you have to know if it’s an abdominal or transvaginal ultrasound first before you try and guess.
