Couple more of my tests from this afternoon, from different samples, I went out in the heat to pick up my order of Internet cheapies lol I didn't know they were one step again which is a bit annoying.. But anyway too one is a few hours old and the bottom is at about 20 mins. Feel like I see something esp on the dry one x

@jellybeanxx not pathetic at all, I know the feeling well! Do you usually get cramps this early though? What dpo you be due on? I'm not convinced by any of mine just yet. I'm hoping to get more cb early on Thurs. You def need to get another frer or maybe also try a cb early? I much prefer them x

The lines are def getting more obvious as they dry but obviously can't trust a line out of timeframe lol

in my opinion your Lh is high but not peaking. hope you get your peak soon hun xxx are you tracking your temps as well?

No I haven’t been, I’m new to the having PCOS so I’m not even sure what is right. took this today an still seems high to me.. it’s CD 19 now

Question for those that use opks:
--How long do you hold your urine prior to testing?
--Do you test at the same time daily?
I usually test once before noon (usually SMU) and once in the evening around 8 pm.
I am confused this cycle about my opks. I will try to post a photo of their progression over the last few days. To me it looks like 2 days of high/peak; which is strange for me.

- I never hold my urine with opks
- Yes when I first start testing after af leaves, I test in the morning and in the evening. When I start noticing my opks getting darker I start testing throughout the day because I don't want to miss my peak, which is possible to miss if you wait to long to test. Unlike hcg , you don't have to wait for it to build up in your system. It will always be present no matter how long or small your hold was.
- I will post my recent opks for you and also a couple from previous cycles to show you how long my tests stay positive for My opks get darker and darker and then they slowly start getting lighter. My tests stay positive after my peak for like 2-3 days. I think it just depends on the person. The more cycles you use opks you'll start to figure out what's normal for you.

For this cycle I stopped using my opks like a day after I got my peak. I stopped testing due to laziness lol. Usually I will test until my tests are negative again x

Okay it’s good to keep doing OPKs but it’s just that with PCOS if you’re not ovulating you will have a high LH level but don’t end up peaking as there’s not enough FSH. But with the metformin just keep hanging in there it will happen if not this cycle the next. But FXd for this cycle!! I haven’t ovulated this cycle I’m on CD 56 so long as cycle this time If I eat super super clean (no sugar or bread worked for me) and lose a couple kgs over two weeks I always ovulate but I just can’t seem to commit to a diet right now. But that’s what worked for me. But metformin kinda does the no sugar thing for you. Not sure if this helps but just thought I’d mention xxx I find taking your temp each morning to be the only thing that works for me along side the Ov test strips

Well here we go…first times the charm for this lady seeing my cousin who is a midwife next week to see how far along I am..so excited. That’s a very dark line to me.

I know I'm daft for posting this now as its the frer I took on 6dpo so it's now 2days old, I ignored the line at the time as the indent was so visible before I dipped it, but it does seem to be getting more pink the longer it sits out? I did do another cheapie this am but I can't pick up much on the photo

So after my little pity party last night, I’ve had more cramps, PMS type mood swings and the FRER I bought this morning was negative. Convinced I was out but just got this…!

Haha I do exactly the same thing, especially with FRERs as my first faint positive with DS3 wasn’t obvious until the next day unless I tweaked it! I also remember reading something years ago about how the only thing that can cause coloured lines was hcg and it just meant it was very low levels if it took a while to develop as a true evap has no colour to it.
