UGH... so speaking of insurance mine took a turn for the crappy today found out kaiser will deny me cause I'm pregnant so I applied for our state medical stuff, but I'm not 100% sure that will work cause my husband is REALLY close to making too much for us to qualify... I spent like an hour crying my eyes out stressing and trying to figure out a back up plan. Thankfully I did find a good thing... my nausea is subsiding I think! FX!

I'm 10 weeks 4 days, due June 13th, altho there seems to some confusion around that! I'll hopefully get a better date in my first midwife app. on Tuesday!

I'm so sorry to read about your loss Gowie, it must be such a shock, I cant imagine going thru that, but you sound a strong lass. It really brings it home how lucky we are. Fingers crossed everybody else here carries full term.

Do we just chat on here then? Or is there something else we do if I'm accepted as a bump buddie of course!

Im 12 weeks and 2 days pregnant, due june 3rd. For all you that are behind me, when you hit 11 weeks the crappy feeling will subside. You will start to have more energy. I had a abortion 2 and a half years ago and after that huge mistake i wanted a baby, i got married and a yr nd a half later hubby did that for me. I know this 1st tri sucks. But when you hit your 12 weeks it will be so reassuring. I heared my babys heart beat at 160 BPM Right when you hear a heartbeat thats not your own, its the greatest destresser ever. GOWIE, im sorry for your loss hun, just keep your head up. It will get better.

I will be 10 weeks tomorrow and I think my MS has started to subside... I'm not TOTALLY convinced yet though... but it is better. lol Although now I feel like I'm eating more cause I feel hungry more often :/

I was a lucky one not to get bad morning sickness. So I finally went to the docs and heard the heartbeat. Soooo weird. I hope all works out with ur insurence!!

yay!! I'm so happy you got to hear the heartbeat! Why was it weird? Also, I got approved for medicaid here in oregon that starts December 1st. So I had a single day of sheer panic but I fixed it I hope I can go in on the 1st... I wanna see my baby!

It was weird cuz it made it so real. It was exciting. ultra sound on tuesday to find out exactly how far i am. she said im over 11 weeks tho since she found the heartbeat so well.
you may get it earlier, my Medicaid came in fast.

sadly no, my won't start till than cause my husband made too much in November. They called me and talked it through today. all I have to do is send in an "official" pregnancy test from a DR. So I'm going to planned parenthood Monday to get that. I can wait for the 1st though

I can see how that would be odd... I'm sure I'll be the same way. It still feels really unreal to me too... lol I'm so ready for it to be REAL though!

oh that will be nice! I don't know how Michigan is in June, but Oregon is off and on nice... but by July and August it gets good and warm. Perfect for walks and outings with baby! I'm so excited for January to find out if I'm having a little girl or boy... though I'm pretty sure its a girl. I just feel it

Michigan is the same. Some good days some yuck. It does get pretty hot sometimes but never too bad. How far do u get to find out? I want a girl, so i t will probably be a boy. Lol. I don't think I mind either way

I'm going to my friends OB and she says they will check the gender at 16 weeks normally... so Mid to end of January is when I'll find out. So did you get an ultrasound at your first appointment or did they just do all the tests and stuff?

Hi Ladies,

Hope you don't mind me joining you.

I had a bit of a scare last week, I had some spotting which totally got me paranoid so I ended up paying for a private scan. Thankfully all was okay and I got to hear my LO's heart beating away at 165BPM, it was amazing, still can't get my head around the fact that there's a little heart beating away inside me and the baby is growing every minute.

I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on Tuesday, I can't wait to get the ball rolling and have another scan to look forward to.
