June...here we come!!!

Can you help ladies my cm is still watery and slippery and I'm on CD11 today sorry tmi

How often should I be beding with my OH so for I noticed our pattern is every two days!! But on CD8 we did bed three times in that whole day sorry tmi again  will his sperm live that long. Hoping to bed tonight. I tend to bed at night because I don't get up in the night. Sorry... :haha::blush:

Does anyone else find time goes so slow waiting to ovulate?

So I woke up at 2:46 last night sweating. I had a dream that I was going to a free mobile fertility clinic for some kind of fertility consultation/treatment with a friend. Since it was free the lines were long. Finally I got done with the paper work and had some samples collected (not sure it was urine or blood) and I was waiting around with my friend. It had been like 3-4 hours and I was ready to give up. I told my friend that we should just leave and then a nurse kind of person came over looking for me with a clipboard in her hand and said, "well, I have some good news for you. Your test results came back and - you're pregnant! And it's a girl!" I remember all I said was, "how do you know?"

That's all I remember.

Are pregnancy dreams a good sign? :)

Erin - probably my RE's office said none at all to make sure people get in the habit & just get rid of it all together. But then again as I think about it...this was my med class...& she (a nurse) said that if we have any pain from the injections, not to use ibprofen. So it could also have to do with the meds we were taking. I am sure day 1 or 2 of AF is fine, but I have just decided to eliminate it. Might as well get in the habit...because it's only tylenol after getting pregnant.

SarahLou - everyone is different with their BD schedule. If you still have watery, keep it up until you know for sure you O'd. Some even say the day after O is a good day to get another one in. As far as how often, that depends. If your partner has low sperm count (like mine) it is recommended to only go every other day. But if you don't know what the count is, then you could just do it as often as you are able to. But do not go more than once a day. The boys do not have enough time to rejuvinate. If you read online, everything is different. Drs will tell you different things, too. So it is sort of up to you, I think. Unless you get told he has a low count.

And every part of my cycle seems like the longest part...just depends on the day. Which reminds me...update...I had some pinching on the right side yesterday & lower back pain today...sort of like I have a UTI. But I am sure I don't. Could be anything...I think I have had back pain before. But we will see I guess.

I hear pregnant people have some crazy dreams...so you never know...

I have had crazy dreams off & on this whole process. So I don't take mine seriously anymore. But if you don't have them much, could be a good thing. I think the meds & my emotional/psychology state play a lot in to my dreams.

Thanks, everyone, for sharing your experiences! The pain has subsided for now (I took some Advil last night) and my OPK was negative this morning, so not really sure what to make of it, but I'm sure O is coming at some point soon. My temp also dipped this morning, so maybe in the next day or two.

We got our BD in this morning, shooting for every other day, with hopefully back to back once I get a positive OPK. DH work schedule is nutty right now (thanks Stanley Cup playoffs), so we'll see how that works out.

Good luck to you, Erin!

Amy (and everyone else) - if possible, try to switch your pain meds to tylenol. I am a huge fan of advil/ibprofen...but my RE said to stop using it. I can't remember why...Erin received the same info...but basically it is not good when TTC. I have read it in other places to...just can't remember the reason. So no matter where you are in your cycle, try to quit the advil/ibprofen all together. Side note: I am NOT A FAN of tylenol. It feels like I am eating tic tacs for what it actually helps with. And my first AF days I need something...and also the more intense fertility meds give more horrible headaches. Clomid did that too.

Yep, agree with beaglemom. My RE's reasoning was that any kind of anti-inflammatory (Advil, Aleve, Aspirin, etc.) can delay O. You're basically dampening down inflammation that is sorta "supposed" to be there when your follicles are growing and one is about to burst. Also, the nurse added later that it could prevent the sperm from penetrating the egg, although I know nothing about that reasoning, so not sure if I believe that part necessarily. But I've read lots of articles about the delaying O. My RE, however, told me I could take it during AF (just the difference in Drs again). She was mostly telling me to take NONE about 48 hours prior to O, and then for the entire TWW. NSAIDs are also blood thinners, and your uterine lining needs that good thick healthy blood. ;)

And I'm in agreement with beaglemom that TYLENOL BLOWS!!!

SO GOOD to know, thanks, ladies! I think I am going to just try to resort to not taking anything. :)

Well the only time I ever need anything like that is during AF anyway, and since no AF during pregnancy, I'll be good to go. ;) So I don't really need to break a habit. I can't lie though... I love a BC Powder for a headache, it works wonders! But I only get one headache every few months, and they really aren't bad enough to need anything if I just lie down for 20 minutes. I hope your pinching and lower back pain right now is a good sign! Remind me, where are you in your cycle now??

floridasian, i've heard of women having pregnancy dreams and ending up prego. :) But i guess others have them and don't end up prego too, so who knows! Either way, lets just assume its a good sign and look at it positively!!

SarahLou, I would just do whatever feels right since you guys just started TTC. If you guys are totally digging that every-other-day thing, then go for it! LOL! But I agree with beaglemom that I have heard that three times a day could potentially hinder things... they wont have as much sperm each time if they do it too much. As for how long they live in there, supposedly if you have good CM, they can live in your body for up to 5 days. But I think average is more like 3 days...? I've read different things, but the consensus seems to be 3-5 days. So if you do get tired of the every-other-day thing, at least you're tracking O, and you'll know for sure when your "window" is. :) GL!

Have you tested? your chart looks like a bfp? are u taking progestrone suppos.?

I'm going to test tomorrow morning. I *think* I'm only 9 DPO so I'll be 10 DPO tomorrow. Either way 10 or 12 DPO *should* show up on a test if it's positive.

Yes I'm still on Progesterone suppositories which I'll probably stop Friday morning if there's still no BFP by Friday morning since it delayed my AF by two days last cycle.

Keeping my fingers crossed! Your chart looks a lot like mine did! :flower:

Hi savvy, always happy when you pop in! :) How are you feeling?

Hi FBG!!!! I see you O'd, and your chart looks really good... nice temp jump! FXd for you this cycle!!! I just know you're gonna get a sticky bean really soon!

Well even though you're still early, I'm still excited for you to test. :) :) Can't wait to hear!!! Don't get discouraged if its not pos... I know so many girls in real life who weren't able to get their BFPs until they were about 14dpo. In fact, that's when I got mine in Dec... it was either 14 or 15 dpo. I'm holding out hope for you for sure this cycle, your chart looks great.

I have some red blood today, mostly watery but it's there so I'm counting today as CD 1. It's definitely more than spotting. This cycle has just been weird. I had absolutely none of my normal AF symptoms. No tender breasts, no breakout on my face, no major bloating and back pain. Who knows though, could be the Femara, this was my first month on it. I send a message to my OB to see what we should do next. If we want to do another round of meds. Guess we'll wait and see. After work I'm going to get myself a chocolate shake, I deserve it :)

When AF comes, I need chocolate & a mt dew...I usually want a huge chocolate cake :)

Erin - CD21...I did not test this month, but based on cramping I think I O'd CD 14 or 15. Plan to test Sunday since it is Father's Day.

Floridasian - an early negative def is not definite. So do not be discouraged by an early negative test.

Hi savvy, always happy when you pop in! :) How are you feeling?

Hi Erin! I am still hoping you are surprised with a BFP later this week! I am doing okay, I miss chatting with everyone on this thread! I am still checking in daily!

I am sorry MissStacy :hugs: Hope your OB comes up with a good plan this cycle. Enjoy your chocolate shake!

Hi ladies. It was good to read through and catch up. Thinking of all of you and hoping to see some good news as you are testing soon.

I'm about 6 weeks. Still super scared of a mc, trying not to stress out about it. I had a super quick appointment today and will have a ultrasound next week or the following week.

FBG - it looks like you o'ed two days ago. Welcome to the TWW! :)

Erin - still hoping for a BFP for you too!

Stacy - sorry AF got you. Chocolate shake sounds good. You deserve it!

I am starting to think that my chart resembles my BFN chart from last November! I don't usually like to test early for the obvious disappointment if it's a BFN but now that I'm on progesterone I need to test early to know when to stop. If it's a BFN tomorrow I'll test again on Friday morning.

So I got the call from my dr today, and I tested positive for antibodies E and S. I don't know the specifics on the details of each antibody, but from what I understand all antibodies kinda do the same things. If their levels get high enough, they will treat the baby as a foreign object and attack it's red blood cells. As of now, my levels are low enough to not cause concern, but I have to get them checked monthly to make sure they don't get higher. If they do, I'll have to be transferred to a high risk OB. So everyone please pray they don't get higher!!! I feel like a nervous wreck.

Quick update - nurse called and my estrogen is still pretty high - so Doc wants me to do an ovidril shot - of course the new insurance is not approving the shot so we'll see what happens....
