June IUI Anyone else?

Can I join? June will be IUI #2 for me. IUI will probably be in mid June.

L4Hope - What day are you on? Are you having IUI this weekend?
So exciting!!!

I was disappointed to find out that I only had 2 .. usually, I get 4 mature ones ...
But your tech is right, we just need one good one. Although, in my case, my Doctor likes to see more because we have male factor as well ... more targets.

Keep us in the loop :)

Mrs. Compass I'm on cycle day 13 and I had iui's yesterday and today. And commence the tww! Please let it go quickly. Even though I know one perfect egg is all we need and we don't have male factor issues.. I still feel like more targets are better! Oh well I just have to hope my one egg will do the trick.

Hi sun up! Welcome and good luck with your next cycle.

L4Hope - Goodluck on TWW. I do hope it goes by quickly for you!!! Fingerscrossed! How exciting. Wishing you that BFP and then we can be Bump Buddies!!!

Welcome SunUp! Gearing up for your IUI? How are you feeling?

AFM, I'm taking my 10th pill of femara tonight and tomorrow is my scan. Hopefully IUI this weekend.

Thanks mrs compass, That would be soo nice if this could be our month! Hope you have some nice follies on your scan tomorrow! Let us know how you make out.

Can I join too? June will be iui #3 for me! Sometime the week of June 4th...

Good luck to all you girls!

Hi Ladies:hi: Can i join, IUI #1 for us mid June!!

We have been trying for 10 months!! We are going to give IUI one go if it doesn't work, we will move straight to IVF!! I have low AMH.

Welcome to the newcomers ... nice to have more people on here :)

AFM, just came back from my scan ... I am so disappointed that I only have 1 follie, measuring at 13. Last time, I had 4 and 2 ruptured. With male factor, we need more target. I will be all over the internet today to read about one follie successes for some encouragement. *sigh* I'm still hoping. Would love to give mh DH our BFP news on Father's Day.

Hi everyone, this is my first time joining any kind of online support forum, but at this point I am willing to try anything, so hopefully you ladies won't mind if I join you.

My husband and I have been trying for 18 months. We tried on our own for a little over a year and nothing happened. After testing they found that I was not ovulating (I make a dominate follicle, but it won't release) on my own, and they found out that he had retrograde ejaculation.

So back in January I started taking Clomid 50mg (day 4-8). First month, 1 follicle was 18 and progesterone was 13.1; Second month 1 follicle, progesterone was 14.4; 3rd month 1 follicle, progesterone was 16.1. In April she upped me to 100 mg Clomid. Last month 3 follicles, 22, 25, and 25 with progesterone of 27.5. However all of that resulted in no pregnancy. All this time my husband was taking Sudafed before baby dancing to help try to keep his swimmers from going into his bladder. So in May I took my 100mg Clomid (day 5-9) and we made an appointment to see an RE.

We met with RE on Tuesday (5/29), she did an ultrasound (this was cycle day 11 for me) and said I had 3 follicles 11.5, 16 and 16. She said she wanted to see me again today (5/31) for another ultrasound and as long as everything still looked good she wanted me to do Ovidrel injection and have IUI on Saturday (6/2). Today I had 4 follies 22, 18, 12.5 and 12. The ultrasound tech said only the 22 and 18 would be viable for the IUI. She advised that I was good to go for IUI and that someone would call me later to let me know what time to take the Ovidrel injection.

So with all that being said, I will be having IUI on June 2nd. Does anyone have any tips or tricks based on above information? None of this is covered by insurance and this is the first time either of us has been through anything like this.

Hello. I'm supposed to do iui late June. My very first and I will be doing injectibles. Follistim

Hhmmm ... how do we combine these two threads together? There's another one in the "ASSISTED" Forum. I'm getting confused ... tee hee .. :)

Hi Wilddaisy! Welcome!!! Goodluck on our IUI. Is this your first one?
I had my scan this morning and my 2 follies are sizing 22 and 21. The Doctor wants them at 23 to 28 in size before triggering. Are you doing back to back IUI? or just the one? I wonder what your timing is like ... exciting!!!!

Sounds like we will be together on the TWW :happydance: Looking forward to it.

Yes, this is my first IUI! I am glad to see your follies are growing nicely. I thought that 25 was the biggest they were supposed to get, but seems like everyone hears something different.
Nope, just 1 IUI tomorrow, then BD tomorrow night and Sunday morning. Did my Ovidrel at 10pm last night for a 10am IUI tomorrow, 36 hours in between. I hope that all the timing is right.

I am glad one of us is looking forward to the 2WW, I am anxious as can be.

Hi Wilddaisy- I just got a call from my Clinic and they want me to trigger tonight at 10pm and my IUI is on Sunday morning at 10am. Our cycles are so close together.

Our first IUI in February was a success, and we only did 1 IUI, 36 hours after the trigger. We got our BFP but we lost the baby at 6.5 weeks. I feel comfortable with the 36 hour thing.

Goodluck tomorrow!!!

YAY!!!!!! So exciting that you got your call. Yes, we are only going to be 24 hours apart. I am so sorry to hear about your loss :nope: I can't imagine what that must be like.

What meds were you on when the IUI worked for you in Feb?

I took femara (2.5mg x 10 days) and trigger shot (10,000ui). I'm on the same stuff now. I released two eggs last time and hopefully I will ovulate the two I have now.

Looks like chloride is working nicely for u. How are u with chlomid?

So exciting to see progress in this thread!

I am on CD 4 right now, 75mg clomid started CD 3 - 7. Sono will be next Friday and hopeful trigger after that (hopefully somewhere around the 11th).
I will be doing back to back IUIs after the trigger.
I have my beta done 15 days after the second IUI... So I *WILL GET* my bfp around the 28th of June. (THATS THE PLAN!)

OK, IUI on Saturday went really well. They didn't give me an ultrasounds so they assume I still had the 4 eggs, 2 big and 2 little.

However, my DH was AMAZING! He gave his sample which was 1ml.....but pre-wash it was 84.5 million with 85% motility and post-wash it was 54.2 million with 92% motility.

They gave me the max volume which was .5ml. They said this is all the body can hold and now we are in the LONG 2WW. I have to get a progesterone reading on Thursday and a blood HCG a week from Thursday. I am thinking sticky thoughts!!!! :happydance:

GLAD IT WENT WELL WILD!! Sending lots of sticky vibes!
