I can't find the link now but did anyone read about david payne making innapropriate comments to his own And other peoples children on a previous holiday. They all seem weird and probebly wouldn't think twice about covering up for the mcCans.

Im not really sure what I think. Someone a few pages back said that they sold her as a sex slave and it really put me off this thread tbh none of us know what happened and making comments like that doesn't sit right with me. Don't get me wrong, I agree they are guilty even if just for leaving three babies under three alone they should be charged and who knows what else they know, but anything else we are just guessing at and saying they sold her as a sex slave?

I think that was just one person. The vast majority of people on here, have said they feel there was an accident, it IS speculation but so is saying that she has been abducted.

WTF?!!!!!! How can you trade mark a coloboma. To be honest this makes me feel really quite uneasy (I can't explain it, a bit sick, shocked, upset)...my LO has a coloboma - it would never ever ever cross my mind to trademark it if god forbid she went missing - and even if advised my lawyers to do so, I wouldn't...feels very wrong.

I think that they know exactly what happened to poor Maddie. As others have suspected, I think that she died in that apartment, and they're covering their own neglectful asses.

I feel really uncomfortable the amount of money made off there daughters disappearance. If that was my daughter i would search to the ends of the earth for her and wouldnt stop untill my dying breath!!

I think that they know exactly what happened to poor Maddie. As others have suspected, I think that she died in that apartment, and they're covering their own neglectful asses.

They did it despite advice from both Portugese AND British police that emphasising her coloboma would only place her in further danger if she was alive. Why would a parent willingly do that? I mean I understand that they didnt trust the Portugese police (although I think that was just to throw doubt to the British public about anything the police there said) but what would there excuse be for ignoring advice from British police?

Yeah I read about Sky news a while back. I've read loads too but never heard about the coloboma before.

They did it because they knew that it wouldn't place her in any further danger as she was already dead.

For the comment about her being a sex slave I don't believe that, I've read that elsewhere too and as was said there if they wanted sex slaves it's much easier to take kids from third world countries where it would be less likely to be publicised as much - horrific and horrible though that is.

My gut instinct is that she died accidentally, probably due to being drugged by them and most probably in a fall off the sofa. They had to get rid of her and cover it up as it would have ruined their careers and lost them the twins so they got rid of her. They will burn in Hell for what they did but I really can't see them admitting it ever in this lifetime.

Cos they sedated them with medicine that wasnt prescribed to the twins or Maddie, they knew those tests would bring that up

Because it probably would have tested positive for some sort of sedative. Just like they refused to do lie detector tests (when they originally said they would) but then refused when people came forward offering it, they would have been found out.

Makes me sick that they've been given so much special treatment.
