Kate McCann releasing a book...

Sorry to butt in but if they are to blame, why would they just do it to Maddie and not the twins?

I dont think it was on purpose, think maddie had an accident and this is all spiraled out of control. And i also personally think they prefer the twins. just my opinion tho

Didn't Kate mention that when the twins were born Maddie started playing up and would just crave attention all the time? She also mentioned that Maddie was a 'difficult' child.

I personally think poor Madie's body will "turn up" at some point and the Mccans can say i told you so, it wasn't us!! As there wont be any evidence left and they can carry on looking innocent (which there not).

I think they both look so ill and gaunt. I don't think they can carry on living with the guilt and lies of what they did to her, they are just playing for time at the moment. Once it's over they will go back to there "normal" lives. (i do believe her death was accidental though)

We live in a society of easily brainwashed puppets unfortunately where the media pulls the strings. No one wants to question anything, everyone wants their information handed to them on a plate and told what to think. Why do you think books and movies like Harry Potter and Twilight have done so well? Everyone loves the fantasy, to believe in good v evil, that there is hope that surely there will be a happy ending.

People don't want to believe that upstanding British citizens, and doctors none the less, would be capable of such a thing. No no, they are meant to be the 'goodies', aren't they?

Well if its on the news and in the media then it must be true... Right??

I don't think it's fair to call people "puppets" just because they don't believe what you do!
I don't ever read newspapers, I wouldn't use The Sun to wipe my next door neighbours dogs bum with and I never read magazines or any tabloid paprers. So I'm in no way influenced by the media. I just have a different opinion to you. Doesn't make me a puppet! :dohh:

I'm not saying that people who have a different opinion to me are puppets! I'm saying generally society is very influenced by the media, its the age we live in these days, people don't question things.

I happen to like harry potter, I'm not calling myself a puppet am I! Its just how it is in society these days, the media control a HELL of a lot!

I don't know, all the theories about what they did with the body, why they've released the book etc sound very complicated, and I find that the simplest explanation is usually right.

Yes but lots of people have said similar about their children

The stuff with the body is, but I guess because we dont know, but I dont think the book stuff is complicated, a) money and b) because they need to be seen to be doing stuff/they are so far i nto this lie they cant stop now.

What is the simplest explanation though?

Edit: LOL sorry didn't see the above post!

^^ Exactly?

The abduction story is far from the simplest explanation too, surely? A man & a child disappearing in to thin air?

Can anyone find a link for the late late interview that isn't on flash player? Xx

I'd say that poor Maddie had an accident, died, and they have covered it up because it was due to negligence on their part

I agree, but don't think Cloberella does? x

I agree Nikki. I do read the newspapers and read widely beyond the press. I am just not convinced that the McCanns are guilty here. This is not because I am a puppet or unable to think for myself or so lazy that I want everything put on a plate for me. I think it is possible to read lots of things and put 2 and 2 together to make 15. I also don't buy into theories of mass consipiracies of silence, whether that be in relation to the McCanns, the Masons, 9/11 or so on.

Leaving Madeleine and her siblings unaccompanied in their room was unforgivable to me but that does not automatically mean for me that they are guilty. That is just my point of view and one I have considered lots of time. This is not because I think they are uncapable of such acts due to the fact that they are doctors or middle class. People of all backgrounds are capable of terrible acts and behaviour.

Perhaps this is not what you meant but it is how it read.

Can someone tell me what they think of this:
https://themccanngallery.blogspot.com/2009/10/porkies-lies-of-kate-and-gerry-mccann.html
It's apparently about mystery text messages to and from Gerry's phone..... and an apparent copy of his phone records................

Not sure if it's real or not, but I heard something about him recieving messages and the refusing to show his phone records?????

I agree, that is the simplest explanation.

Other theories get a whole lot more complicated when you realise there would of had to of been at least two people take Maddie, or Superman did it and flew out the window.

But I dont see how leaving 3 children alone in a room automatically means one was abducted either

Did anyone watch tha missing program? Im watching it now. They're on it, she looks really really ill and he just looks... I don't know but he looks dodgy.
I agree about the simplest explaination, it was probably an accident and they covered it up

Well I don't disagree. I don't know, forgive as I'm not the most eloquent of people so this might be a bit rambled.

I can see that them accidentally killing her is more simple than someone abducting her in some ways. The problem I have is with the cover up, it just seems like there'd be so many people involved, so many different locations used, and so much time needed.

I don't particularly like them as people, I think they are very selfish and self absorbed. But we don't have all the information the police do, maybe they know something we don't?
