Kate McCann releasing a book...

I hope some nut just took her cause they wanted a kid to love and not for any other reason and shes happy and well looked after. i think she's dead though.

Just what i was going to say!

i hope shes alive and well, i hope some family wanted a little girl to love because they cant have their own children!

i really do hope the poor little girl is alive and well, but only god knows where she is! + whats really happened.

i dont think her parents 'accidently' killed her.. but i read the article today in the sun, with bits of the book or the parents had a interview not to sure, but the bed cover was pulled over into a triangle shape.. was is tested for any other fingerprints :S? must be something... they would of definatly found her body if she was killed by her mother + father, they would of checked surrounding areas where it could be..

but what kind of parents leave their children allown so they can go for a nice meal with friends, what ever happened to taking LOs with you! im alot younger than them, and even i have the common sence to NEVER leave a child allown, i hate leaving my 13 year old sister outside waiting for me! let alown a 3 yr old and 2 yr old twins alown in an apartment asleep ! makes me so angry .. i think id like to buy the book as i believe the money would go towards maddies fund xx

"Holiday mode" can be a terrible thing though, don't the Spanish have a saying about us brits?, something about leaving our brains at home before we go on holiday?.

I'm thinking of all the stupid people who lose thousands on timeshares or house builders etc. Or in Greece loads killed in tragic accidents on mopeds/bike's etc because they don't wear helmets but wouldn't do that at home?. I know it's not even comparable to leaving 3 children on there own, but alot of stupidity happens in the sunshine!.

I've never really looked into or read much about the disappearance of Maddy to be honest, I've learnt more on this thread than i knew before. I personally would never leave my LO ever, but I've known people to use a telephone babysitting service in hotels in England and it's perfectly legal. Kids could be taken without any knowledge?.

It was stupidity leaving Maddy and the twins, but they will pay for the rest of there lives. And that legacy will follow on in the twins lives and on it will go....

loads of people use baby listening in the hotel i work at. sometimes i've been in the room, pottered around for 10 minutes and then noticed there's a LO in bed/cot.. the parents must hear me but don't return to check?

 see that would just terrify me, you could be anyone (no offense ) xx

I have no idea what they must be going through, but as someone who has my own kids, and the thought of them going missing, (god forbid) I wouldnt release a book about it.

I find the whole situation a bit weird tbh....maybe she wants to "put people right"? And the way she can do that is by writing a book? I think shes feels really guilty about leaving her children alone at that time. I dont know. But I would never leave my kids in a room while I went for a meal.

I agree. In one of the interviews they were asked would they have gone to dinner and left the children at home in bed even if it were next door and they answered no, so why would you do it on holiday? It doesnt make much sense.

I have already said and continue to believe that they are going to pay the price for the rest of their lives, they must look at their twins everyday and go back over what happened, that must be like living in hell.
Their stupid act left a child either dead or living with another family goodness knows where but they are paying the price.

The media and public absolutely crucified them, I am pretty sure they do it to themselves everyday.

i've been thinking this all day & it scares me what would be going through that poor little girls head :( even if she was kidnapped, would nobody hear her screaming? I know i'd scream/cry if somebody took me from my room! If it was an accidental killing on the parents behalf, the blood and dead corpse smell the dogs found could infact be true, and they could of dumped her body in the sea  but it sends shivers down my spine what she thought/felt whatever happened :(

Wonder what the twins will think when they're old enough to understand what happened? I imagine they're going to blame them for their big sisters disapearence but also that it could so easily have been one of them :nope:

i agree Blah, i wonder if they'll question their parents/themselves? & i wonder what their parents will tell them :nope:

Could a parent actually do that though, dispose of their daughters body? I just dont know. Wouldnt someone have seen them?

Children are very innocent and they generally think everyone is a goody. Amelie would go off with anyone, she's very trusting. It terrifies me but it just makes me want to keep a better eye on her, not to make her fear other people IYKWIM? Theres a good possibility Maddy would have just went quietly and was probably not scared when/if she was taken. Besides, like its been discussed in this thread, theres a chance she could have been sedated anyway.

Anythings likely. The things that go on in the world today! :nope:

never thought of that, it's all very scary to think both ways anyway :( i suppose if you offered your hand to a small child and smiled they'd come, or maybe she thought it was her parents- so many possibilities i guess!

I imagine the actions of a parent who accidently killed their child would be different from someone who OD'd them say to make sure they slept through (i mean i know it would have been a accident but in reality its murder if that makes sense)

They are smart people, had a lot to lose big careers etc and they had the twins.

Horrible to think but you could fit a 3 year old in a fairly small holdall bag :nope:

i just hope shes safe where ever the poor little girl is

Or if she was already awake/crying, they could have said they were taking her to her Mummy and Daddy...she would definately have gone then. So sad :nope:...do you think we will ever find out?

I remember reading a case of a boy who was taken and years later he recognised one of those aged pictures of himself so i guess its possible Maddie will surface when shes older

i don't think we will :( i hope she is found one day, but whos to say whoever has her hasn't dyed her hair etc & makes her wear sunglasses outside? i hope we do though

I know its different, but when we found Eve, I was hysterical, crying, screaming. I just dont get how any parent wouldnt be the same, whatever circumstances their child died, but I agree nothing adds up :nope: Wasnt there a thing about the bins too? Either they werent checked, or they were checked too late? Not sure if that was something that just got spread mind, you know what its like. Perish the thought, poor little girl xxx

Its such a shame the twins werent just a little bit older, i know theyd probably not remember alot but maybe little bits, when they were older
