Kate McCann releasing a book...

You know I had nightmares about people hunting us down for knowing too much :haha::haha: Really need to stop the cheese at night :haha:

:haha: The thought crossed my mind..... Maybe the MET just need to read this thread - might give them an insight as to what really happened to Madeleine!

 I'm locking my doors tonight and putting a chair behind the handle :haha:

We could be on tv as the ladies that cracked the riddle :smug: in all seriousness though i really do hope people start sitting up and taking notice :nope:

  sorry girls, over active imagination I think.

I hope they do too

I just hope someone with a bit of sense, who is not afraid to speak their mind and act on many peoples suspicions, takes charge of the investigation

I just watched that interview on Irish TV. God they're good aren't they. I did get a bit upset listening to them describe Madeleine and what she was like because they were pretty much describing my daughter :( all I really have to say is this:

The twins know that you should never take anything that doesn't belong to you, hey Kate? Hmm...

What do you mean by that AB? I dont think I watched that interview, as all the links for this weekend I missed as I am only just back on the laptop now after my time away, so was reading on my phone. Addicted, maybe

She said how the twins know the "abductor" as like a burgalar (sp? lol) and they know they should never take anything that isn't theirs to take. Only Madeleine WAS her parent's to "take"... Just seemed like an odd thing to say, maybe I'm reading too much into it

I think the reason they say so many things that come across as strange is because they're watching every single thing they say because they have to, so it just isn't natural anymore!

The one thing that I can say about the book is that it can only do more good than it can harm. If it raises more money to continue searching for her and puts Maddy's face out in the public eye again that is great.

I am glad that you mum's on here are being sensitive and cautious to what you post on here concerning this case. Even if this lady (Kate) has made the biggest mistake of her life -surely people can forgive her and support her pleas to find her little girl? It is easy to get caught up in who is to blame and lose sight of what is important.

I came across an article that has a positve outlook for the book:

The article is on canidoit - Just type in Kate McCann in the search bar.

I cannot post the direct link on here.

ERM...... NO
For me, I will never forgive what her and her husband (the smarmy git) did. They made a conscious decision to leave their children open to danger at the very least.
Yes, I would love to find Madeleine, but I will never ever forgive her or support her

Totally agree. I have no sympathy for them whatsoever, this was their fault so they can deal with the guilt.

I really hope they do find Maddy though, and find out what actually happened.

This thread must be showing in google results now, it was only a matter of time before their "followers" joined and said sOmething.

Read the evidence, how can a book do more good than bad?! Especially when she is quoting the evilness that she is.

yep this is a new member and this is their only post?!?!?!? ever!!!

no i cannot forgive them. their actions that night are to blame!!! if they did something then then are defo to blame and if they did not and she was abducted then they are still to blame for leaving her and the twins alone at night. esp after reports of them crying the previous evening!?!?!?!?! i to think its all incredibly strange and suspicious and dont belive some of what they are saying!!! And in all cases does it not usually 9 times out of 10 turn out that the person guilty is the person closest to the victim???

I think so, in the case of murder, but I guess unless a body is found then no charges will be brought :nope: Its all very sad isnt it x

Its taken myself two day to finally read through everything. Phew. There are a few things that are bothering me. Firstly that comment kate made is vile and shouldn't come out of any mother's mouth. And its a contradiction anyway as they have always maintained that they believe that madeleine has not come to any harm? Secondly I'm a big reader in body language and their body language clearly suggest that they are not being entiredly honest as when we lie we do blink a lot more, we do touch our hair and face and scratch ourselves. We are not aware that we are doing this as it is out of our control but we do this to divert the fact that we are lying. Thirdly, my oh was in the army and he is clued up on sniffer dogs. He is familiar with martin something (can't remember his name) and has assured that cadaverine is a specific type of scent and these trained dogs would have had extensive training to ensure they perform. If sniffer dogs were highly incorrect then our police force and the army would not use them as they would be unreliable. I agree there is something fishy going on hmmm

ease up, everyone is entitled to an opinion. I think genesis777 is correctly reminding us that Maddie could still be alive (optimistic but theres always room for hope), and that us lot on the forum have NO EVIDENCE to suggest that the parents have ANY involvment in this, its speculation purely.
I am not a "follower" of the Mccans, just someone who enjoys free speech and the right to exercise it :flower:

Each to their own but, I don't subcribe to the idea that we have to forgive people just because they may regret their actions. I dont think Kate & Gerry genuinely regret theirs - I think they regret the outcome, but not the decision. If I believed their story, I still wouldn't forgive them. I don't think they deserve forgiveness. Their daughter has, as far as I'm concerned, paid the ultimate sacrifice, and I don't think they should, or can, ever be forgiven for that, whatever their involvement.

Yes, in almost every case of child abduction/kidnap, it is someone who is known to the child that takes them. It's actually very rare for a child to be taken by a stranger, as far as abductions go

 Those 2 dogs in particular are 2 of the best from what i can gather and have not been wrong in over 200 cases x

Thats well worded, I completely agree. :flower:

One question though. Gerry says that it was on THEIR request that the dogs were brought in. Why would you request that a cadaver dog be brought in if you believed your daughter was still alive? And why would they bother requesting dogs in the first place if, the minute they found "evidence", the McCann's dismissed them as tangible?

I can't link ATM but in the video with Amanda walker, at the end when she asks what she would say if Madeleine could hear her her reaction confuses me for a mother of an abducted child. That's not a hypothetical question is it? There's a good chance that she could be watching and it's her mums chance to maybe talk to her. The way she laughs and then just says the basic obvious go to answer, if it were me I'd be saying not to be scared, that mummy and daddy love her and her brother and sister miss her or something. That we really want you home and miss u maybe? Use it as a chance to speak to maddie and humanise yourself to the abducter? The way she says it is like she knows she can't really hear her but what would she say if she could iykwim? Most parents do half of this interviews with the hope of maybe their LO's hearing them, I find it weird that that really is the impression. Or am I reading too far into it? Xxx
