There was a picture on one of those links for medication (I assume) picked up in the apartment/villa, the label showed whatever it was it was prescribed to Mr Healy - Kate's dad. Wish I remembered which site to check what the effects of the meds are.

Awful, clearly the same surname would make pharmacists question but Healy would mean a pharmacist wouldnt know.

I honest to god do not get it...if there is all this evidence why can't the police do anything???

Because it is all classed as circumstantial. All the things individually would be fine, but it is when you put it together that it throws up a completely different look. I guess part of it is, how can they convict when they have no idea what exactly they did with her body.

also why do you think they still put themselves out there, in interviews ect? surely if they were guilty they would just want to be out of the public eye now? How can she sit there like that knowing that she did something, or covered something up..

Because it was expected at first, and then once you are in you cant suddenly stop because people would say well I would carry on highlighting her being missing forever.

Plus, almost immediately some family members left their jobs and were paid my the find madeline fund to look for her I think at least Kate and one other family member are still paid by the fund. Basically the publicity funds their life style

Check the label on the medication. The pharmacist is coincidentally named McCann...

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Not just from the Gaspars' statements but also Gerry is an extremely domineering and conrolling person - what better for someone like this than to have toral control over a vulnerable child? Sickening though it is, it makes a LOT of sense.

Not sure I believe it tbh. He wouldnt be allowed to work in the NHS surely?

You would if someone buried your file and made it that it was 'overlooked' hen going for a job. The corruption is just rife from the sounds of things.

I hate to say it, but it's highly unlikely. Plus, have you not noticed how highly intelligent and thorough we are with our research??! Think I'm going to start up a detective agency.

We found out that the group of families were using occuping [sic] ground floor flats near the swimming pool as they were leaving the children by themselves in order for them to go to the restaurant in the evening. They would then go regularly to check the children who would be asleep.

So from this are we to assume that all along the whole lot of them planned leaving the kids unattended???

Probably, but the fact is ground floor make sense if you have lots of LO's.

Hire me hun I'm very observant I spotted loads of things like the pharmacist name etc.

If we were all in the investigating team this would have been solved long ago cos we kick ass. And we wouldn't take bribes/be corrupt

I found it interesting where he said "…the guilt we felt at not being there AT THE MOMENT MADELEINE WAS TAKEN." I know I'm over analysing here but using 'felt' rather than 'feel' to me says she's not alive. Surely you still FEEL guilt. 'The moment' as pat says would never have been a moment. Someone being abducted would never have taken 'a moment'. However, someone can die in 'a moment'. His use of 'taken' just reinforces what I believe he means is 'died'. I just feel his use of language so obscure yet clever, like he's really thought and planned exactly what to say, every single word. So really, he's not actually blindly lying. He's just using his words very carefully.
