brilliant, do you go to any groups or anything about? i have a 2 week old and need to get out to stimulate her in the day, and me! hubby works 12 hour days so can be so long and boring¬

I recommend the Surestart centres, MrsNakedChef. I go to Brompton and it's ace, have made some good friends. The baby swimming classes with Tara at Splashes are ace, bit there's a waiting list. The libraries have nursery rhyme sessions for babies too
