Love, congrats on hearing the news of you becoming an aunty!! Awesome news. I was sorry to read that you were hospitalized for overstimulation, how is everything going now? are you feeling ok? Have you decided to go on a holiday now, or going to give it another try cos your cycle was cancelled?

goldfish, have you ovulated yet? Did the grape juice work?

Plastik/nats - sounds like everything is going perfectly for you guys, YAY!

AFM - well think I am approx 6-7 dpo, the only symptoms I've had are stabbing pains in my my boobs, and also a little light dull cramping in my ovary area, trying not to over analyze it, but very hard not too. I have my last specialist appointment today to discuss his plan of attack for the IVF, so presuming AF arrives he will either put me on the pill/nasal spray (so wont start IVF for 3-4 weeks - not the prefered option) OR go straight to injections from CD2 of the next cycle (hoping this will be the case).

so ladies, I will drop you a line this afternoon and let you know how I went.

Little - no O for me yet, but I think I'm starting to get EWCM, so hopefully in a few days' time! Meanwhile, am going to keep drinking grapefruit juice blechhh! Any news?

Hi again all! So turns out that I have high NK cells, which were found from a biopsy they took throughout the laporoscopy. I am a little shocked, but after doing some research, it appears that it is easily treated and increases my chances of pregnancy dramatically. the condition basically means that my immune system is fighting any embryos which come into my reproductive system and killing them before they implant. Meds include steroids and an infusion of a soy based formula which Takes approx. 6hours at the IVF clinic. I am going to wait and see if AF arrives (highly probable after this recent finding), if it does I am to take the pill and I will be administered some of the drugs through the next cycle to set me up for the one after. So it isn't ideal we miss a cycle, but we have a higher probability of concieving and keeping the pregnancy, so you can't beat that really.

Hey Little - it's good to find out exactly what's wrong so at least there's a plan for what to do next to increase your chances of BFP! Who knew this TTC stuff would get so complicated eh?!! I'm on CD10

Hey ladies, I'm doing okay, still excited for my sister although it did hurt a little and I told her that she can't complain about the symptoms of pregnancy to me cause I'd do anything to be in her shoes, it's good though because she becomes a whinger. Cd2 for me af came cd23 which is a little early but good cause now I have no idea when I ov for this month and try and make it more fun haha. My iui bill came for my cancelled cycle $720 oh my goodness I paid that to end up in hospital I think it's just annoying as a normal cycle is $1900 and u get $700 something back u!
Goldfish- does the grapefruit juice taste nice? Maybe I should get some even though I told hubby I'd stop trying hahaha!
Natts- where's our pic of ur bubs? How u going?
Little- sorry to hear about ur nk cells but at least ur getting somewhere, I'm looking at this as a positive step to get closer to ur bub
Plastik- I think u and my sister are one week apart how cool is that! How u feeling?
So that's about it for me no more fertility drugs any more I have a few natural cycles! And were planning to go away YAY but not until early next year which will get me through Christmas haha! My sister asked me to take the week she is due off already haha which is also something to look forward too! Anyways xoxo love u ladies

No pic I'm afraid love the scan didn't go to well, they couldn't find a heart beat they want me to go back on the 28th to see if there's any development, so I can only hope till then. No bleeding but have had pains so I just don't know. Will let u all know x x x

Love - I don't really like grapefruit juice but I'm kinda used to it now! I've been drinking the pink grapefruit juice, which is supposed to be less bitter than the regular grapefruit! I also started taking cough syrup (with guaifenesin in it), so hope to get more/better EWCM! Maybe you could try it anyway and just not tell hubby it's for TTC so it won't feel like 'trying' so much?

Good morning all!!!!

A quick early morning post to let you know that I got my this morning... 1-2 weeks according to the CB digi... I literally can't believe it.... A little hesitation though as I will need to get onto my medications and infusion ASAP so I don't miscarry..... OH girls, I simply can't believe it!!!!

So my period still hasn't started properly yet! It's just brown mucus like discharge and I'm so annoyed because I just wish it would start so I can get a move on with ntnp but still keeping it off my mind! I'm just so confused as my nurse said my af will be a heavy one after the over stimming! Anyways nothing I can do about it!

P.S little u cant leave us now! Please check in every now and then!

Thanks ladies. I was at 8dpo from my calculations, only experienced stabbing pains in my boobs leading up to test day really, so was completely shocked as I usually get this leading up to AF anyway. Will finally get to speak to my specialist today to see where to go from here.

Love - that is so annoying about your AF not fully arriving, hoping it maybe gets heavier to set you up properly for the next cycle. Are you still going to give things a break for a while? I tell you, having a natural cycle could well be what your sticky bean needs, so don't think that's a negative Hun xx

Anyway I will still be checking in as normal ladies, we all need support, no matter what stage we are at!

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply ladies, was away on holiday in the snow Was lots of fun! Everything seems to be great except that I feel like I need to vomit almost all day long, but I'm super happy to be feeling sick and so am not going to complain! I have my second scan tomorrow (will be 8 weeks 1 day) and am very excited for that! Will let you ladies know how it goes and hopefully post a pic

AFM - I have my intrepid infusion this morning, so get to sit and do nothing for 2 hours... Haha, luckily I have my 5 shades of grey to keep me company not too much else to report really, had to self performed injections so far, and they are actually not too bad, even better to not have any side effects from the drugs too.

Goldfish, most months my bbs would only get sore about a week before AF, but there were a few months when they were sore all the way through and some where they weren't at all Good luck to you!! The TWW is nearly upon you!! Holding thumbs!

Nats, how are you doing?

AFM, we had our second scan today! It was really awesome. Bean is looking great, grown a lot, and had an amazing strong heartbeat. It's so fast!! We've been bumped up to 8wks 4days instead of 8wks 1day, which is right in line with where we should be according to my last AF! Also EDD has changed from 2 April to 30 March! Yayness!

my infusion was actually ok yesterday, they only had to do one attempt at the IV bung, so that was a bonus, it was a little painful throughout as the formula wasn't at room temp, but nothing I couldn't handle. I was in and out in just over 2 hours. From forums I've read I may need another lot at 8weeks, but we will wait and see. my first scan is booked in for 13th sept, so excited, hope all is ok. Have to do another blood test next week, just to check hcg levels too. Other than that, all chugging along nicely really...

Well were do I start, I was back in hospital on Wednesday in ridiculous pain in lower back and around my uterus! So back on a drip and admitted overnight to find I no longer have 4 large follies but 10!!!! And a cyst which is causing all the pain! So if u all remember back when I said my period wasn't normal it really wasn't! Funniest thing was I did and opk for fun on Tuesday and it was almost positive I freaked out and thought it was cause my period was so early! Always I home now, feeling better still irritated! And it sounds silly but I loved the fact my sister and hubby was with me all day today, I miss her now!
Plastik- ur little bean is soooooooooo cute yay ur dd is so close to my sisters now wohooo! Hope ur trip was fun!
Little- it's like u no when something is up with me haha hope ur feeling good after that infusion and I hope ur relaxing!
Goldfish- I'm out for this month so triple fingers crossed for u! And at least I'll get a normal period now! Fx for u babe!
