Lets Get Fit and Help our Cycles

Welcome back mummy3! We missed you. Ahh, Krispy Kreme AND Starbucks? That's going to be hard but I know you can do it! Dinner For Schmucks was soooo funny. I love Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd.

Pink, way to go with the 4lbs!

Dandy, glad your appt went well and you got some possible answers. Why did she think PCOS? The good news is that can be controlled so well with diet and exercise and you are on the right track!

I've been kinda bad the past few days since returning from my weekend trip. My mom is ill and in the hosp with pneumonia, all very sudden, so I haven't been eating as much and when I do eat I'm comfort eating. :( I know it won't help but I'm eating junk because I'm too lazy to care when I'm worried....also no yoga or zumba this week, same reasons. I'm still walking a lot with the kids to get some activity in during the day, though.

How is everyone tonight? Dandy, aren't you off on your hols today or tomorrow>

I'm sorry to hear about your mum:hugs: My eldest daughter and I caught pneumonia last year and its miserable, I hope she feels better very soon:hugs:

Just try and get through this then worry about your diet:flower:

Its going ok thank you, weighed myself this morning and have lost 4lbs :happydance:
BUT I've just had some fried chicken! Naughty I know but there was nothing to eat in the house!

:happydance: That is an amazing loss!

Thank you :flower:
But I have just ruined it all my going for an indian buffet :dohh: my mum was treating me though which is my excuse!

No worries, pink, one night 'off the wagon' so to speak isn't going to hurt you in the long run!

Thanks for the kind words regarding my mom, girls. :hugs:

I walked for an hour pushing a stroller again today but then I just had a (large)milkshake...we had coupons for it, I couldn't resist....but as you have said I'll worry about my diet more when things have settled down with my mom, hopefully.

How is everyone tonight?

Dandy, have a great time and see you when you get back!

Ooh the milkshake sounds lovely, I've been really good today and done a bit of exercise too!

milkshake does sound tempting.
I stick to protein shakes

Shey, how does a protein diet work?:flower:

Allie I would have had the milkshake too, anyway I read that having lots of calcium aids weightloss:thumbup: Hows your mom doing today?

I'm off to the doctors on friday, im nervous! Also hopefully going to get another referral for my son, he has an endocrinologist and now needs a kidney specialist and a geneticist:wacko:

Pinkbow, please can you send me some of that indian?:haha::flower: It is so hard to find indian cuisine here:cry:

She's doing okay, mummy3, thanks for asking. :hugs: She's still not herself and still in hosp so it really just sucks. :(

Good luck with the docs on Friday! How old is your son? I hope you get the referral you need for him at your visit.

 I'll parcel some up and send it over! There is so many different Indian restaurants/takeouts in the UK, there's like 1 on every street.
Hope everything went ok at the docs, your poor little boy :hugs:

I remember all the Indian takeaways in the UK, my fave is a tikka massala:cloud9: Yeah so if you could just pack one up and stamp it urgent....

My son is 2 1/2, his main thing is he is not growing, he had a bone scan and his bones have the age of a 10 month old and he has broken his leg once already:nope: We thought brittle bone disease, now the doctors think dwarfism and a kidney problem. Hes perfectly happy though and doesn't seem to be in pain:hugs:

Anyway here has been pretty fun! We joined a dog meet:thumbup: means have to exercise:dohh: And diet so/so, found white chocolate peanut butter cups though and they are soooooooo good!!!

Allie, thats hard that your mom is still in hospital, I hope she gets better soon:hugs:

Basically you can't have any carbs really and thats how the fat comes off by eating only foods that are full of protein. I've already lost 4 lbs

Welcome caz & bob!

Glad you're doing well pink bow. Are you dieting or still detoxing?

Good job on the 4lbs Shey

mummy3, mmm I love peanut butter cups! I'm happy your son isn't in any pain and happy, that's what matters! Hope you get some answers soon. Btw I think I just joined a thread with you....the screwed up cycles thread haha.

I am on CD38 and ovulating.....I think. In any case AF is not here. I think it may have to do with the stress in my life at the moment and also I stopped exercising about a week ago as I was so stressed (I know it would help, but I just have no motivation at all). I keep sharing my OPK with everyone lol but here it is....super positive and AF was due 3 days ago!! Usually I only have a very faint line with OPKs.
Who knows though, it may just be my body going out of whack.

Have you done a preg test? FX that it's either your :bfp: or that you're ovulating :happydance:

Thanks guys! I took one yesterday....BFN. I'm hoping it is ovulation just really late and not just my cycle doing something really weird. Well, it already is weird but you know.
