Cleckner- I'm still so impressed at Emma's ability to crawl, wiggle out of things and now try to pull up! You're going to have a little walker at 9 months! You should take another video of her crawling skills!

Shadow- I'm sorry you're still feeling crap. I'm still fighting off a bad cold and its so hard caring for a baby when you're not feeling 100%. I finally broke down and took some cold medicine that has a risk of decreasing my milk supply... so this weekend Kira might be at the boob all day!

My boss gave me attitude for missing work this week- and I was very tempted to quit and be a full time Mommy! The idea is sounding more and more appealing every hour

Since I've been awake almost all night this week with really bad coughing and congestion, I've had a chance to stare at my little co-sleeper. She is so cute how she spreads out to take up more room than me or DH! And a few times I tried to snuggle up to steal her heat, and she's grunted and pushed me away! A little bed hog!

im sorry iv not been around much, i have read but i havnt posted in so long im not going to attempt to reply im sorry! good luck though MJ!! will be thinking of you! soo exciting!

me and jesse have been ill this week, jesse for the first couple of days then he got better and i got ill, its just a bad cold i think but still horrible!!
after lots of messing around we have arranged to get the keys for our new place on the 19th of march so we will have our own little family home FINALLY! cannot wait lol!
iv been very busy trying to start organizing my wedding, organise jesses christening and our engagment party plus moving! so havnt had alot of time really, though i still havnt set dates for ANY of them except for moving of course, but once the house is sorted i will have a better idea of our budget so i can get around to it better!
im also pretty happy cus i have managed to lose 11lbs since january! slowly but surely! im finally getting onto losing my baby weight lol!
and of course we are currently TTC for #2 and im due to test tomorrow morning! not holding out much hope but FX

jesses new favourite thing is standing up, over the last few days hes become very steady when hes standing and i mean literally over night hes got great at it, he stood holding the sofa for about 5minutes on his own today his legs nearly went a few times but he got himself back up! soo cute, he's probably the last to be doing this lol but i was just soo proud of him! hes changing so fast! 7months on monday! i have to go now but i am reading all the time and ill try and post abit more xxx

Hey all

Just a quick pop in to say hi - things are still hectic here with me being back at work.

Not much news Natasha is doing well, although i think her teeth are on the move as she has red cheeks all week and she has got a nappy rash also, which my mam tells me is a sign of teeth moving, so she is a fairly cranky this week, but hopefully it will pass soon. she is still doing well on her food and we have moved onto more cassarole dinners now, so I have been cooking up a storm this week and have loads of nice recipies like chicken and butternut squash pie, plaice and spinach in a cheese sause, cheesy, peasy rice and chicken and lots more - my freezer is full, but she is loving them all so far thank god and she is getting baby porridge in the morning and stewed fruit and either yogurt, homemade rice pudding made on her milk or homemade custard made on her milk - I'm still introducing every new food for 3 days to make sure she has no allergies and so far nothing has affected her - she is getting her 6 month injections tomorrow so I'm dreading that as its the 3 needle one - I think you get it earlier in the UK than 6 months. DH is coming with us, so at least I wont be on my own.

AFM: I have kind of stuck with the weight loss - I have lost the 17lbs and am down to 10 stone 2, but I have another 9 left to get back to pre pregnancy, but I'm much happier and feel so much better, I'm back in most of my old clothes bar my skinny jeans, but then I guess I will get there at some stage so I'm not really worried. I going for the chop on my hair at the weekend and have told the hair dresser to chop it as short as she can but to leave enough length to tie it back and put in my extensions for the long look if I'm going out, I'm also going to go back to my natural colour which is a slightly darker brown than I am at the moment, due to highlights and I'm going to get a few blond slices put in it so it will be a big change as it is down to the middle of my back the moment but it is driving me mad and Natasha is constantly pulling it and trying to eat it at the moment. DH is treating me for Mothers day on Sunday. We are then heading out for a meal that evening as my brother also turns 21 that day and we have St. Patricks day here on Wed, so we are going to stay up with friends on the Tues night that live about an hour away and the men are babysitting while the women go out for a few drinks on the Tues night and then we are all going to watch the parade on the Wed, I can't wait to see Natasha's reaction.

Well thats all from us, I'm am jumping on and reading every now and again but it is too much to catch up. Everybody seems to be doing well.

Morning! We have a standing baby, but she still won't sit or crawl. She's had a coldy cough too, so she's been in with us in the mornings after waking early every day for a week (sleepy tired now). OH gets her out of the cot, grabs a bottle, feeds her and then we try and go back to sleep while she punches us in the face, pulls our hair and kicks us Of course by the time she's nodded off again and snuggled up, it's time for me to get up

her first tooth is properly through, but she's still dribbling and red-cheeked, so I guess that means there are more on their way? We're still being lame with solids, I give her a bit of what I'm eating sometimes, but mostly she's still just having bottles. She doesn't even seem to want food that much and I can't face forcing spoons of baby mush into her mouth, so I'm not. Is that bad?

Oooh Jelr sounds like you'll be feeling a million dollars when you get your hair done I can vouch for the shorter style with little grabby hands: Since I had mine chopped Vince can't get his mits on it so I'm pleased

Aunty E, No that's not bad I don't think, if she's getting a little of what you guys have every now and then then she's getting a bit of a start on it. And plenty of people don't like spoonfeeding (for us it happens to be perfect, but I'm not so naive to think that it is for everyone!! For us, Vincent was clearly a very big baby and it was almost like his super fast growth dictated our weaning strategy: He loves the jars I choose too so for us it's going well ) Does Imogen stand up on her own then?? How exciting! Vince can do it for a few seconds, but since he got his walker he wants to move around, but he doesn't understand about taking steps so he tries to "push off" against the floor from standing and ends up just crumbling on his little legs!! Silly boy...

He is loving his Chicco DJ walker, he doesn't take steps in it like I said, but pushes off with both feet and moves along the floor. He is obsessed with our fireplace (we have a mammoth fireguard and we sometimes hang bits of laundry over it, Vince ALWAYS goes directly for it and pulls everything off hahaha)

I'm feeling a bit better now, got a tiny bit of a cough but the sore throat seems to be almost gone. Sacro is still a bit of a bitch but not as bad as it was. Still got computer issues! Am trying several things to try to get it sorted... Touch wood it's ok right this second...

Oh, I had to mention this, I have to know whether OH and I are just weird or whether others feel the same: Isn't coriander the most HIDEOUS thing in the entire world?!?!? We had a herb salad last night and it had the tiniest bits of coriander in it, it tasted like washing up liquid!!!! That stuff is GROSS!!! Anyone agree?! Who on earth would eat that stuff VOLUNTARILY?! Anyone love it???

OMG just seen a thread & am now strangely shocked that the August 2010 bumps are in 2nd tri!!

NO! I still remember being shocked because the October Bumpkins were in third tri Trying to work out what I'll be when we start to TTC the next one. I want to have the next one in winter, but I'm just not sure which winter if you know what I mean. I'll probably lean towards winter 2012 rather than 2011 but who knows. I've got some work to do around the Olympics, so I'd rather not be on maternity leave at the beginning of 2012.
