--Lion Cubs - Mummy and Baby Group!-- We are all One Year Old!

Yeah I have my days where I full blown don't believe in heaven or afterlife or whatever but for the most part I think there must be something better waiting for us. And that poem just made me all teary too and I've already read it a thousand times. For some reason it always brings me comfort though!

But anyways. Didn't mean to put a damper on the birthday talk!! :hugs:

Cleck, I have so many tears in my eyes that the computer screen is all blurry as I write this - that is such a beautiful poem  Gotta go blow my nose now :dohh:

back again

Boothh good luck with ttc again. Stuart is very lucky, hemust be getting LOADS of sex! I am sure David can't wait to ttc again just so he gets regular rumpy pumpy!

He is away on a stag this weekend, but I have a friend coming to stay later this afternoon. have pumped some milk so I can have a few glasses of something cold and fizzy!

oh and Boothh, so glad Jesse is ok, what an awful nurse, clearly doesn't have children of her own!

It's me with the piano, well two now actually ;) But the one I bought for her for now is just like that but black and she loves it SO much. I'll post a picture of her later playing both of them.

Lovely poem Cleck, my sister still thinks about the baby that she lost and remembers his birthday and he died eight years ago :( It's something that never leaves you, and the number of people who said to her (she was a young mum with two under two at the time and Seb was an accident) that it was a blessing. I could kill them.

Had a bit of a drama couple of days ago - it was around the time AF is due, and we're using 'natural' methods of contraception at the mo, so I thought I'd take an IC and got a line. So took a digi and it was negative, and thought to myself maybe it was an early BFP and the digi would go positive. Then AF shows up, and the next IC I took was negative. But the first really really was positive Mog. I've decided to assume that the first one was a dodgy test, or a mispackaged OPK or something. But I was so disappointed when AF turned up, we decided to start TTCing properly. Which has cheered me up no end :)

Aww yay for all the TTCers in here!! We're gonna have a full group!! :D I'd love another myself and DH and I talk about it alot but we are so unsure when the best time would be. We aren't preventing it from happening though so what happens, happens. At least Emma is old enough now that I wouldn't be scared about my csection scar ripping back open or something. :haha: I'm still in the WTT mindframe though.

lmao shiv - he will be in his element! iv been constantly pestered since mmc, cus iv just not been in the mood lmao would rather sleep, when i said i thought we should carry on ttc he was very enthusiastic LMAO!

gutted for him that my AF is soo long haha x

my mum rang me this morning and said..

JESSE GOT UP HER STAIRS!! they arnt as steep as mine so it mustve been easier for him, she said she started to shut the kitchen door cus he keeps tryna get in and the cats bowl and stuff is in there so she doesnt want him in there so then he set his sites on the stairs and did it no problem apparantly haha, and she also said hes been cruising her furniture and pulling more and more all weekend! so excited to see him i cant believe how fast he is learning new things!! x

i LOVE that i remember seeing it before i found out i was having a boy and wanting to buy it lmao xx

Nutty I saw that and considered buying it!!! It had such good reviews on amazon. I had to hold myself back from buying anything else though. :haha: It's totally cute!!

Congrats to Jesse for climbing up the stairs!!

Cleckner- thats neat that Emma still wears 6 months- how cute! She's such an active little girl from a young age so no wonder she's smaller! How much does she weigh? If you have a Kohls near you, check out the baby section. They have a brand called Jumping Beans and they are cut the same as Carters and are priced about the same (perhaps a tad cheaper)... but they have some really cute things.

I've packed away so many things... an entire box of newborn stuff Kira never even fit in :haha: Then another 2 large boxes she's outgrown.

One tip my mom gave me regarding toys is to separate the toys into a few laundry baskets and keep them in a closet. Each day bring out a new basket and it's like having all new toys for the child since they only see the toys once every 3 or 4 days.

As far as TTC goes... I probably won't even think about TTC until next year!

i try and rotate different toys between his bedroom and downstairs, we rarely play in his room, so i try and change what he has downstairs often so he doesnt get bored,

my mum bought him one of those push along walker things and he can do it really well !! :D

Here she is on her toy piano

Please forgive the carpet - it was like that when we moved in and I can't quite face moving all the furniture out to have it replaced. It was bad enough getting it in there in the first place.

Spent all of yesterday gardening and am crippled with strained muscles so going to go and have an uber-long bath now, so that I can move tomorrow. We're going boating on the Thames - little bit tense about how I'm going to entertain her if she gets bored, so fingers crossed she likes it :)

Shutter men turn up on Tuesday, can't decide whether to take our curtain poles down the night before so that I can sleep without worrying about it, or take them down in the morning, but have to get up crazy early. We have to move all the furniture away from the windows too and clear enough space for them to build the shutters downstairs. It's like having builders in! And it should be, given how much they cost.

Aunty E- Aww I love that first little piano. Is that the exact same one I got but a different color?! If so it's awesome seeing what size it actually is!! Imogen is SO adorable. :cloud9:

cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute babies!

Okay so this is totally random but don't you hate it when you post in a thread and everyone gets 'thanked' but you?

hahahah what thread? it wasnt me was it in the bf bit? im sure i thanked everyone lmao! xx

jesse now loves stairs btw, everytime the door is opened he is off he can get up the first few soo fast i have to grabbing him baby gate timee,

iv just written jesses birthday gift list, my mum is going to buy him this supercool garage from elc with lots of cars :) its soo cool!

and my dad is gunna get him a seesaw and swing so thats most of the big things out the way lol!

saw this super cool my first laptop and my first workbench, i wanna try and get him stuff to last til christmas! x

LOL! Thanks for the thanks guys. :haha: No it was Tsia's thread in baby club. But I looked back and she didn't thank a few people but thanked everyone else.  It's happened to me before in threads on here and I'm always thinking those people must just not like me.

Boothh!! Thats so funny that he goes straight for the stairs now. I'm glad it's not just my monster that goes straight for them. I felt like the worst mom ever one day when i didn't realize she was at them and already halfway up them. I shudder thinking what coulda happened to her. A see saw will be fun for him!! That's a cute idea. I got Emma a little laptop for Christmas last year but I've seen ones for 1 year plus that seemed pretty cool! I don't know the brand difference for you guys and us but Vtech makes some pretty cool little baby laptops.

I didn't walk until 14 months so I don't have too high of hopes for Emma either. :haha: She does crawl and cruises quite fast but she now refuses to walk behind her walker thing and screeches when we hold her arms and try to get her to walk. She would much rather crawl I think.
