--Lion Cubs - Mummy and Baby Group!-- We are all One Year Old!

the laptop is Vtech lol,

my cousin didnt walk til well over 18months and never crawled just preferred to sit and watch people, shes 12now and nothing wrong with her haha,

i dont know about jesse, my friends baby is a day older than him and can stand on his own well apparantly, jess is nowhere near that! i dont care though he will do it when he does until then hes bad enough crawling!! x

Cleck - it is exactly the same one, just in a different colour. I was surprised by the size of it, it's really sturdy :)

The brown dress is Molly n Jack from Boots. I can't find it in the shop anymore but they sell it online and I buy quite a bit from ebay too. It comes up a bit small if you're thinking of getting any. I bought the entire winter collection in various sizes  Just wait til she's big enough for the blue velvet knickerbockers, stripey vest and matching naval cloak ;)

lucas is no where near walking or even carwling on his nees and hands he is really good at army crawling and was in every room last night when i was running the bath but just want move his left leg its like it is just there and dosnt work i know it dose but he wont use it.

Rueben was about 11 month when he was crawling and about 15 months when he started walking i didnt walk at all and was up and walking at 6 months.

AE- Such an adorable baby you have!! I love Imogen's outfit too, soooo cute!!!

Nutty Mummy- Abbi has the cutest smile with her little teeth.. beautiful!

Haha... I have nothing else to add. Such cute babies we all have

Nutty Mummy- We did have the same due date- I remember looking at the due date list alot since I'm weird like that :haha: I'm not sure how she got to 10 pounds, but I know with #2 I will watch my carb intake those last few weeks. I worked up to my due date, but with being late I had 2 entire weeks off work before she came. I was so bored waiting for her to come, so I baked a different dessert each day and pretty much ate the entire thing myself :haha: So maybe thats why she was so big??!!

hahaha im sure jesse came out 8lbs 9oz cus i was always eating, mc donalds burger kind or tgi fridays god ahaha gunna be more careful next time! x

I intend on being a bit more careful with what i eat next time around too (but then again I said I wouldn't put on more that 2 stone with Sophia :haha: what a joke!!)

We went to have some family photographs taken today (with the people who did our wedding photography). Sophia threw a right strop, so I don't think there are going to be many good pics. I think it was her teeth as she had her hand stuffed in her mouth while she screamed!

She has been eating for Britain teh last few days, bot h solids and milk. has anyone else noticed a 9 month (ish) growth spurt?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who needs to watch their sweet tooth- we all had babies on the big side and you know what they say.... each one gets bigger :winkwink:

Shiv, I noticed a growth spurt last week with Kira. She drained her bottles and really started eating her solids well. This week it has let up a little. It might be from all the extra energy they need to move.

See Emma has been the opposite in the last week. She refuses to eat her solids and just throws them around and grumps at mealtimes but she wants booby 24-7! I can't put her down even for two seconds because she screams. I don't get it. She has no teeth yet so it could be that I suppose.

And Spidey I never realized Kira was 10 pounds at birth!!!:shock: Did you do it natural? Your poor daisy. :winkwink::haha: And if the next babies only get bigger your in real trouble!

Cleckner- I bet its just a phase. Some weeks are fussier than others for Kira, but I alway tell myself that it gets worse before it gets better. Not quite sure why, but it makes me feel better :haha: If Emma is teething she may not feel 100% and need Mommy close.

12 pounds! That must have been a big baby!

I did have my 10 pounder naturally. I just tell people that fat squishes so I don't think it was too much harder than having a 7 pounder... perhaps I would have pushed for less time though  If my next one is normal sized, it's going to just fly out!

 Like a slip and slide. :winkwink::haha: Well, you deserve a big giant trophy for doing that naturally. :hugs: My DH was nearly 10 pounds at birth so we were worried Emma would be big too. I guess it wouldn't have mattered with it being C-section in the end but she was just average sized at 7 lb. 14 oz. anyways.

But with a heavy baby at least they have a bit of weight behind them is what my mum said. Although her heaviest was still only 8lb 3oz, so I don't know what she thought she was complaining about ;)

Mog has hungry days and sometimes has days when she'll have nothing but formula. We kind of just roll with it.

She lurves the camera, put a camera anywhere near her and she starts posing like mad. She's such a ham :) I really hope our next one is as cute and lovable as Imogen...

My grandma had 7kids my dad the oldest 12lbs something and they all got smaller!
She had them all at home naturally too! Brave woman!

Think I was 7lb 7 and OH was 7lb 4 so jesses 8lbs9 was probably down to my appetite haha! Can't wait to have another though but iv been advised to have a section even though I'd love to do it naturally I don't want to risk it with having such a bad tear after having Jesse!

He's off his food and actually lost 1lb over the last few weeks, his tracheitis has spread to his chest and he's on antibiotics now!! :( had alot of bad nights recently! x

:( :hugs: I'm having issues with Emma lately too. I posted a thread in baby club about it. I hope Jesse feels better soon! Being sick is no fun.

awww poor Jesse  Atleast you know he'll start getting better soon now that he's on antibiotics. How is he taking them? I hope he doesn't put up a fight.

I've heard that the extra weight is good for helping dilate you quicker too. My labor was fairly short- 10 hours from the 1st contraction until the baby was in my arms. Probably the hardest part was getting her huge shoulders out!

We're getting a kiddie pool this weekend- can't wait!!!

AE- isn't it hard to imagine that a 2nd baby could be as cute and loveable as the one we have now. I'm a little worried I could never love another baby the same as Kira but I'm sure extra love would sprout from somewhere. It's so hard to imagine.

Emma loves her baby pool! It's so cute seeing her in her little bathing suit in it. :haha: You'll have to post piccies!!
