So apparently cupcake stuff isn't as popular as I'd originally thought. I only found a baby bedding set and I'd need a much bigger blanket for her bed. But I did find this and it's AMAZING but I could never afford it and it's dry clean only which is just plain stupid if I wanted it in a toddler's room. But I wanted to post it cause I figured nutty would love it too.

That is sooo cute, super spendy haha.

Well I just took apart Caylees crib and made it into a toddler bed! She LOVES it, she thinks it is so cool, she climbs in it, and then falls out of it haha. I put 2 big comforters under the bed so if she falls, which she has a few times already, it does not hurt. So far so good, she hasn't cried yet. Ross cried when he walked in her room and saw her climb into her bed, all he could say was "my baby is no longer a baby". I tried to lay her down for her nap...needless to say she is making a HUGE mess in there, pulling ALL of her toys out of toybox, and making a mess, so this will be the hard part of the transition I think...is getting her to STAY in her bed.

Here is what her toddler bed look like, we bought a 4 in 1 crib, so now it is in this stage but it has two small wood blockers on the front so she doesnt fall off, but the side rails are not that big, about as big as a school folder on each side with a big opening in the middle.

...So far it's a disaster lmao. I am wishing I left the crib up, I just saw Spideys post and I have been itching to do it for so long now, I finally got the nerve to do it, and I am like GAHHHHHHHH why did I do this lol.

Heidi- I LOVE that room idea! So grown up and from what it sounds like, it'll fit your little Diva's personality Oh my about Caylee making a mess! Kira has almost no toys in her room since I keep them all in the livingroom so if she gets off her bed after a nap, she'll just entertain herself by kissing the mirror Maybe the novelty of escaping her bed will wear off and she'll start taking proper naps again.

Cleckner- the cupcake bed is super cute! It's too bad cupcake decor isn't more popular!

I think its neat how several of us have owl decor I didn't realize owls were popular until I saw the stuff in Target over the weekend.

I know it is a bit strange that we all have owls! It's not like any of us ever discussed it on here before. This is Emma's wall. We can't paint(well we probably could but I don't feel like painting it back when we just plan on moving again), so I just use decals instead on the walls.

Sam those are soooooooooo cute! I love the idea of putting them low to the ground like that, the owl thing is strange, we just have good taste haha. We can't paint either, they only paint one wall for us in the whole apartment..and we picked the dining room and hallway to be red..since it was either bright school bus yellow, red or a very ugly cookie monster blue...so we did not have much of a selection, so I am trying to decorate with out color on my walls, and I HATE it!

Well the putting it low to the ground idea SEEMS good in theory but really Emma just crawls right to them and picks them off

We were told we could paint but only if we painted it back and I think that's just a waste of money and paint. I agree it's so hard to decorate without painting! Our apartment is so dull looking compared to our house. Although at the same time, it's nice to not worry about painting all the time.

awww Cleckner- the owls are so cute! Thats funny that Emma picks them off Once she figured it out I bet there's no stopping her! Heidi- I think we must have good taste since we all decorated in owls

I lived in an apartment for 6 years and I got so sick of looking at white walls that when I moved into this house I painted everything bold and dark colors! I went a little overboard, but I was deprived of colors for so long. Thats why Kira's room is dark gray with dark blue carpet

As quickly as the crib went down, it went back up. Bedtime was TERRIBLE....I a just thinking it is too early for her to be in a toddler bed right now.

Heidi- Well it's good that she isn't ready to grow up too fast than! She'll get there. Emma is snuggled beside me snoring away right now so I can definitely say she isn't ready either.

I think it's adorable. Although a bit dark for my tastes. But I love how the comforter says 'go green' on it. Since I'm slowly turning into a hippy.

No you are not haha, I think little Emma doesnt have teeth yet, if I am correct? I would enjoy time without teeth, I got bit on the leg yesterday...it hurt

all good! birth was brill.. all as planned at home in the water. I put a story in the birth stories thread when I felt awake enough to come online when mylo was a few days old. lol

we went through some real rough times.. i left OH for about 7 weeks and then we reconciled. now hes the best dad ever.. and our relationship has turned a corner!. . i knew we were strong enough- he just needed convincing. bloody men! lol
