sorry dont have time to catch up properly iv read though, shiv his appointment is 23rd august!!!! its with the HV though and she said shed do his 12month check at same time so, and iv been told to keep a food diary and try and see if theres a pattern between foods and throwing up etc x

Shiv: she is 78cm or 30.7 inches and 23lbs and 12oz - I did the percentile on an online calculator so dont know if it is right. She definitely doesn't look overweight to me. I know the info online said that this can be regarded as overweight but I reckon when she is so high on the height percentile that it balances out - if she was this high on the weight percentile and lower on the height percentile it would mean she was overweight - Am I right on this - that is only my reading into it as they dont do anything like that over here.

DH is home for lunch so I get some time for myself! Kira has been teething badly the last 2 days. She has 3 teeth coming in all at once! Poor girl. I could hardly get a smile out of her this morning and she's been so clingy and miserable and I can hardly get anything done. Plus I'm not getting any sleep at night so I'm feeling quite worn today. I bought some baby tylenol so I'll try that before her next nap to see if she'll sleep better.

jelr- I bet once Natasha starts crawling she'll thin out a bit. It doesn't sound like she's overweight though since she's so tall. Thats so adorable that she blows kisses and waves at strangers.. she sounds like such a sweetheart.

Shiv- I am with you on trying to remember all the annoying things people say and not make those same mistakes when we're grandparents! Kira still doesn't wave, so the other day her great Aunt came to see her and asked if she waved, since Kira wasn't waving back, and I said "not yet" and she said "well, it's about time she starts!" Jeesh, kinda rude! But I know I'm a little sensitive about it so she probably didn't intend to insult me.

MJ- It sounds like you made a good decision regarding the vaccine from those guidelines.

Cleckner- I hope you're not full blown sick today. Last sickness I had I actually took sudafed (pseudoephedrine) and advil since I was so miserable. Of course I felt so guilty for taking medicine while bf, but it was the only way I could keep caring for Kira. Both of them are considered safe for short periods though.

Well, DH has since left to go back to work so I have toothy girl to myself again! Time to get the frozen washcloth from the freezer!

tmr- Happy birthday to lucas!!!

shiv- Well, she still makes a huge mess but I find it easier to wash the tabletop than the highchair. Her highchair tray was a pain in the butt to wash. And she was starting to get to the point that she'd grump in the highchair and try to climb out to get closer to me but now that she sits right up there like a big girl, she's much happier and doesn't try to climb.

Boothh- I hope they can figure out whats making him sick.

jelr- I believe your exactly right. We don't do percentiles over here either so I just use the online calculators but you seem spot on about the fact that she is tall, therefore not overweight. Either way she's just fine though!!

spidey- I ended up breaking down and using that throat spray stuff that numbs it for a while. It was like heaven. I felt bad too but I keep thinking Emma is almost a year so she should be able to handle a little more as far as what comes through my milk. And the spray is just a little bit of medicine that I'm not really swallowing but just spraying back there so it shouldn't affect her. But today my throat feels a bit better!! It is still sore but I can feel that it's healing already. And by the way, it was you that recommended the frozen washcloth to me for Emma, and it helps SO much with her!! So thanks for that tip!!

tmr- I can't believe I forgot to wish Lucas a happy birthday!!!! I think its neat that Rueben has his birthday so close to Lucas's. Do you think you'll do joint b-days one day? The weird thing is my brother and I are 2 days apart and DH and his brother are 2 days apart too.

Cleckner- I'm glad Emma likes the frozen washcloth

I gave Kira her tylenol and now she's napping. I hope this nap lasts atleast 2 hours because she needs it (and so do I, LOL). She did NOT like the tylenol! She makes me feel like such a meanie sometimes!

Well, I should be cleaning the house because my parents will be here thursday. Right now they are enjoying time in Vegas. I never pictured my parents ever going to vegas so it's quite funny hearing how excited they are. DH is at work and I just don't feel like cleaning even though I need to. Motivation..where are you?!

We bought Emma a box full of legos at Legoland over the weekend. She LOVES them. They are for ages 1 1/2-5 so she isn't technically old enough but she just loves playing with them. It's so funny how she tries to put the blocks together. Right now she is sat in the middle of the living room in her pool floaty boat thing and playing with her legos. We went to the pool yesterday and the floaty is still sitting on the floor where we dropped it yesterday. She keeps climbing into it and getting the goofiest grin on her face.

cleck - jesse has some clipo which are like stikkle bricks if anyone remembers them they are for 18months + but hes been playing with them for the last few weeks and he loves sticking them together i bought him a big bag of megabloks on sale and SIL has bought him a megabloks table board so im looking forward to him getting them x

jelr - the way i look at itis, if the height percentile is higher than the weight percentile then they can't be overweight! Natasha is REALLY tall (Sophia is 75 cm and i thought that was tall!) Are you and Jim tall?

he is getting the clippo hippo from my auntie for his birthday, he really loves it and cus you can stick it together lots of different ways instead just one like lego or megabloks he can do it xx

One week until Emma's birthday but only 3 days until her party!! Woo!! We are having the party saturday so DH can be there and than on her actual birthday we are just going to the zoo.

Went to the doctor and he told me I have hypotension and blah blah. It sucks because he wants me to stop working, which I agree, its getting to be too hard on me now, but I am scared to ask if I can leave work, which Im sure they would let me no problem since I am part time weekends only..but still, Im a scared.

He scheduled the induction for September 9th!!!!!!!!!! If she does not come before that by him sweeping me and doing all crazy doctor things, she will be born on the 9th, so crazy to think its so soon.

A day after my birthday!!! I had hypertension too. I was so swollen and Emma's heart rate kept dropping. It was no fun. I hope you make it through and little Lily is healthy and strong for ya.

I am not swollen at all really, but my blood pressure keeps dropping and my vision goes 90% blurry for awhile, its total crap a doo haha. I am just ready to have her and finally just relax and not feel this way anymore.

Ross and I are so confused on her name now, we are 50/50 on Lily Marie or Mayzee Marie...what to do what to do haha

Oh no! You can't change it. You loved Lily right after Caylee was born! I remember you somewhat regretting the name Caylee because you loved Lily. I love Lily too.
