--Lion Cubs - Mummy and Baby Group!-- We are all One Year Old!

i still havnt got jesse an outfit though if we dont find one this weekend im ordering the bat! stuart has made me wait incase we see anything cool! i think were just going to decorate the house, and carve pumpkins, then go to my aunties and ill probably go with the kids and jesse trick or treating :)

its jesses hospital appointment tomorrow and im very nervous, ill update when we get back! xx

I hope Jesse's appointment goes well tomorrow.

The only halloween thing we've done so far is buy Kira a miniature pumpkin. She likes to hold it and try biting into it :dohh: I think for halloween night we're going to hand out candy at my parents house since they're out of town, so that'll be fun. No costume yet for Kira and not sure if I'm going to buy one for this year

Kira's new thing is to go into a room and then shut the door and say "bye bye". It's so cute and she can entertain herself for a long time as long as I keep re-opening the door for her :haha:

Hope Jesse's appointment is useful today Booth and you get some answers.

No plans for Halloween here, Bah Pumpkin :haha:

Sophia has been a right grumpy moo over the last few days, yesterday was the first day I actually considered going and getting a job as she was fraying my last nerve! Hoping today will be better!

She is cute though and we have been teaching her parts of the body, so we say "where's Sophia's head" etc and she points to it. SO far she knows, head, toes, belly, teeth, eyes, ear, nose, hair, hands! Next is fingers!!

well at his appointment they told me he either has reflux or he has an allergy :dohh: gee thanks i waited 2 months to be told something i already knew! they gave me some new medicine which will hopefully stop him throwing up and said cya in 2 months, didnt do anything at all even look at him oh and then dropped in that he might have asthma lol but didnt explain or say why or what they where planning to do.. wish i hadnt bloody gone now im so pissed off!
so basically all she said was try this medicine for two months and if it doesnt work we wil try something else, i really felt like punching her, he was supposed to be having a scan and blood tests according to my doctor so what happened to them!

aw that's crappy Boothh, sorry they weren't more help, but hopefully this medicine will help him :hugs:

Awww gosh. I'm really sorry Boothh! If it were me, I wouldn't of left there without making them do those tests. I'm so sorry that they are jerking you around. :( I refuse to let anyone do that to me or my kids. I do hope the medicine helps but I also understand how frustrating it is to be treated that way. I've unfortunately had that experience before myself in the past. I'd at least call back and ask about the tests and tell them that you were told that such tests were to be carried out. :hugs:

Boothh- :hugs: That is crap. I mentioned asthma though! I seriously hope they figure it out. It's bullshit they aren't doing more tests. I'm so frustrated for you. :hugs:

Spidey- I meant to tell you the other day that I cleared out a drawer for Emma in the kitchen and put a bunch of random junk in there and she LOVES it while I'm cooking she stays distracted too. So thanks for that advice!!

Shiv- I've been teaching Emma her parts as well but she only does ears and nose so far. :haha: I only teach one at a time so it's a slow moving process for us. And she often points out MY ears and nose instead of hers. :dohh:

Nutty- OMG freddy crueger freaks me out. That is one of those things that I saw it when I was a kid so I've been scared ever since. :haha:

I'm babysitting a baby one day younger than Emma today. :haha: It has been pretty good so far. But when she cries, emma cries. :dohh: I really don't understand how people with twins manage. That'd be a nightmare.

Booth, I am sorry they didn't give you any real answers :( :hugs: Hope the new meds work well for him though, poor baby.

That so cute what Kira is doing, Caylee always shuts her door on me and then knocks on it when she is ready to come out haha.

I really need to start teaching Caylee her body parts, I kinda lost all sense of teaching things when Lily arrives :( my bad. But sounds like sophia knows a lot, so you are doing GREAT momma haha.

Im with Cleck, that movie mad my younger years hell haha. So scared of the...one..two..freddys coming for you...GAH. But glad you love it!! haha

Sounds like you guys are going to have a fun busy halloween cleck! I bet Emmas going to love it. I hear you on the babysitting thing..oh my god...(story below haha)

I went to my sisters house with the girls for a sleep over, just to hang out..she has 4 kids...ages 6,5,17 months and 3 months...the younger ones are her foster kids...andddd I got up with Lily and Logan (3 month old) all night so she could rest, I am such a dumb ass..lol. Caylee was up until 6:30 am SCREAMING because she was not at home in her bed, broke my heart, caylee kept waking up the 17 month old, which got her screaming and lily wouldnt stop crying, neither would the 3 month old....AT 7:30 AM I WANTED TO PULL MY HAIR OUT...so she has to bring the oldest boy to the clinic and again DUMB ASS HEIDI..said "I will watch the other kids, just go"...oh bloody hell..never AGAIN...we just got home and Caylee and Lily both fell asleep asap ...and I am toooo tired to sleep. Lord help me

Heidi - OMG you are one brave lady! Oh and any preggo symptoms yet?:haha:

Cleck, i have been meaning to ask, how is it going with Emma in her big bed? Is she staying in it any longer before waking yet?

Spidey, Sophia loves doors too. But mainly it is just the downstairs toilet (bathroom to you U.S folks!) door. I leave it open so that i can hear her and she wanders out and shuts it, then opens it and peeks round, then shuts it - while i say "byeeee", "hello" - David would not be happy if he saw it, he HATES me leaving the door open :haha:

Just had a Thai takeaway and a glass of wine - much needed after a grumpy week!

Heidi oh my you are brave for saying you'd watch them all. EEK! That sounds like a nightmare.

Shiv- I wish I could say Emma was doing great but as soon as DH got home it was all thrown out the window and she is back in bed with us all night. :dohh: He brought it up yesterday actually, wondering when we are going to start again. So probably within this next week we'll try her in her own bed again. I hate being so wishy washy with it and I know she needs consistency. I hope once we start, we stick with it this time.

LOL no preg symptoms, thank goodness after yesterday :haha:

I would have a hard time breaking that habit cleck :(. I started making Caylee sleep in her room at 6 months and I would sit by her door and cry! I was so sad. You can do it though!

Shiv- I hope Sophia has a better week next week. What do you think is making her so grumpy? Since I have food allergies, food is always the first thing that pops in my mind... so do you think its possible that her new diet with cows milk could be causing her problems? I have a friend who switched to cows milk at 12 months and her daughter started getting constipated and cranky- it took awhile for her daughters tummy to get used to it I think.

Boothh- I'm curious what medicine they gave him. I think its pretty ridiculous for them to reschedule 2 months from now- if the medicine doesn't work, wouldn't you know in a week or 2? So silly.

Cleck- I'm glad Emma likes her kitchen cabinet of objects. Emma is sensitive to others feelings- such a sweet girl :)

Heidi- oh my!! I couldn't imagine watching more than the one I have!

Kira doesn't know her body parts- I might start working on that though!

Spidey- I had thought that the cows milk could be irritating her, but she is still pooing etc, i am of course putting the crankiness down to teething! She has flushed cheeks, and lots of drool and her exzema is coming back (was the first sign of teething back in April)!

Off to take Sophia swimming in a bit, brave on a Saturday as i bet it will be ridiculously busy, butthe weather is awful here so we need an indoor activity which is quite limiting!

So here is a question for you all - if you could have anything for Christmas as a gift what would you want? So give me one item that is like a dream pressie (can be as out there and unobtainable as you like :haha:) and one that you will actually put on Christmas list/ hope to get on Christmas day?

Shiv- Teething could be it for sure. I know Kira has had really cranky days when she's cutting teeth. I hope she's feeling better soon though for mommy's sanity!

So x-mas presents... I had to really thing about this!

What I really want is a deck for the back of my house. My house is on a hill, so the first floor is actually the second floor in the back, so I have a door to nowhere. I would love a deck so I could use that door and have a nice outdoor place to sit in good weather and to grill.

What I will really ask for is a new bedspread. I LOVE anything that is made of fabric- so towels, sheets, bedspreads. Having nice crisp new 'fabrics' gives me a happy feeling, LOL. It's not hard to please me.

Good question Shiv! haha.

I would really really really want to take a trip to see Ross brother who is in the Navy and his wife and 2 kids. They live in South Carolina, but just found out they are going to be transferred to San Diego :( So they are all bummed as we are too.Not that we are close to SC but they have to pack and up root EVERYTHING and Amanda the 6 year old has to switch school now, so I really just want to visit them.

Now a realistic thing I will put on my list would be Tupperware. All of mine is slowly leaving my kitchen by the Tupperware gnomes.

Is your tupperware gnome by any chance named Caylee?:haha:

SO to answer my own question about Christmas presents!

Well obvioulsy my dream pressie would be a 4 bedroom detached beautiful house with a nice garden and a garage! :haha: I don't want much do I :haha:

But what I will be putting on my Christmas list is a pair of comfy pyjamas (I am old so all you young'uns can laugh at me as much as you like, one day you will be old to and will covet comfy PJ's :haha:) let me see if i can find a link!
I know I am a saddo! :dohh: But I do like to be warm in the winter!
