DH has earned his brown wings many a time. Not much since Emma was born but I quite liked it before she came along. LMAO!!

Glad to see some of you girls pop back in to say hi. I knew that chat group idea would be great!

Congrats on the weight loss MJ!! I just started my weight loss finally after DH left. It's been 2 weeks of working my ass off but I"m finally starting to lose! I think the first week was all muscle gaining so it was a bit of a letdown. But my muscles are sore and my double chin looks slightly smaller so I must be doing something right.

Andie- regarding world of warcraft- my brother and DH play that game together at night on the weekend. I've never played it though, but I know it can be addicting! I hope Kiera is still leaving the tree alone!

MJ- Adam sounds like such a good boy! I also love how they can understand what we say to them now. Let us know if the toy laptop works. I was thinking about getting one for Kira because she's obsessed with my laptop too.

So we don't have cable or satellite or anything at my house. Just good old antenna tv. Well today I bought a subscription to netflix! It's so awesome already. We play it right through our PS3 to the tv. Emma is watching the wiggles for the first time ever right now and she is LOVING it. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Screw spending all that money a month on cable when it's only 10 for netflix!!

I have netflix too and love it! Kira watches a lot of tv but I think she learns from it so I don't mind. She mostly watches Nick Jr which doesn't even have commercials which is neat- but you have to get cable for that channel unfortunately. On some of the shows they say "tell me when you see the dog" and when Kira see's the dog (or whatever they ask her) she will grunt and point to the tv Not sure if they're on netflix, but Kira's favorites are Yo Gabba Gabba, Team Umizoomi, Jacks Big Music Show and Dora the Explorer

Cleck, YAY!!!! So glad that Emma has joined the world of Wiggles fans!!! Bryson LOVES them!!! We also get it on Demand with our cable so whenever there isnt anything on that Bryson likes or if he is cranky, I turn on the Wiggles on demand and he is instantly happy again and glued to the tv haha! Yay for Emma becoming a Wiggles fan!!!!

LMAO at you guys having your DH earning red and brown wings! I really don't think that I could have my DH do that too. He'd be totally grossed out not to mention I'm too embarrassed by the grossness of my own AF to even have him do that. I think I will spare him the misery of it haha. I have ONE exit and ONE entrance only and thankfully he isn't interested in going in the "out" door so to speak. I think it would hurt way too much!

Boothh, I am so heartbroken for your friend!! She's really been in my thoughts the last couple of days and I cannot begin to imagine what she is going through and the pain she must be going through. Please tell her that my heart is with her and that at some point she will be able to find peace. Praying for her.

MJ, way to go on the weight loss! I've only managed to drop 5 measly pounds. Hopefully I'll manage to over the next few months while I'm waiting for other things to get sorted out.

Shiv, ME EITHER!!! Also, I hope your Mom will be alright. Praying for her health.

AFU, Not much to report honestly. School got called off today due to ice so Zach is home. My biggest battle of today will be keeping him out of the pantry and from eating everything in sight! TEENAGERS!!!

Well I just tried to take Emma's christmas pictures for this year. Good lord that didn't work out well. I remember what cute photos I had of her last year. She was so smiley and awesome for the camera. Now she sees the camera and runs. I can't do really cute stuff like I used to. I can totally understand why photographers stick to just newborns. Cleckner- Maybe Emma will cooperate with getting her picture taken another day. She's really grown in the past year. I looked back at pictures from Christmas of last year and it's amazing how much growing they do in a year.


In my family we always open up a few gifts early, so Kira's been opening up presents the last few weekends. She actually rips the paper off the presents and makes a little giggling sound at the same time I can't wait till Christmas!!!

spidey- Yeah she is so much different! I still think she looks like a baby until I actually compare the two years. Than I realize she is growing up. So sad.

Cleck, awwww! both those pics are completely adorable. this year's pic made me laugh as well, poor Santa! toddlers do TOTALLY OUTRAGED very very well, I have so many pics like that of Adam, not because I purposely take tantrum pics but because he always throws a tantrum when he doesn't get the camera.

we haven't taken him to see Santa either, he's usually good with strangers but somehow I have a feeling he wouldn't be keen. maybe next year.

Hello Everyone!

Thought I would pop in as on a bit of a holiday/working on essays!!! I have 5 minutes to catch up! So what is new with everyone? Any excitement going on? How many if you are still in here regularly?

AFU - we are doing really well I am still loving being a Mum and enjoy all our time together! The course is going well and really getting involved, loving the placements and not looking forward to going back to lectures if I am honest!!! Getting quite broody now!! Moved house a couple of months ago and getting married in Sept so all is go go go!!!
