--Lion Cubs - Mummy and Baby Group!-- We are all One Year Old!

Shadow - I just sent you a FB message - I'm travelling from St Albans by train. I wouldn't even think of driving it if I'm honest. If you want to meet at St Albans station I can help you find your way and stuff; I don't know the restaurant but I'm OK with tubes and stuff.

Pippin - great find on the voucher; our printer is buggered but if I manage to go via the library on the way to the station I might be able to get one. If anybody else ca though that would be easier.
As for moving up the cot - G does so every night and sometimes turns completely round so his head gets to where his feet were. Other times he manages to get stuck at right angles to the position I put him in it at.

This says 55 minutes Shadow https://www.theaa.com/route-planner...060632301|London, London|STREET|530129|179589 but I would say leave longer than that.

I've printed two vouchers in the hope they will take them both but they have my name on them. I've counted tat there will be 10 of us so if two don't show we will be ok (not that I want that but you know what I mean!). So maybe if we smile sweetly and say that we will be having weekly meeting there :winkwink: they may let us do it.

So glad G moves around the cot too. it shocked me last night to find him in a different place and even more so tonight in the short time he has been up there. I wish I could see him do it. How he does it I don't know as he's in a sleeping bag??? Not sure I could shuffle around in a sleeping bag!!! Cute though.

Shadow, sorry to hear you are so tired; hope you get enough rest tonight. I would recommend givng yourself at least two hours from St Albans as the traffic in London is bad as I'm sure you know

Vici - sorry to hear you are still under the weather but good that you are on the mend and that little Imi hasnt caught your bug. I wouldnt know about a payment break on your mortgage but you can only try. I had a three month payment break from my creditors with this pregnancy and they were very happy to help. I forwarded them a copy of my income and expenditure which showed I couldnt afford to pay some of my bills for that time and they accepted it. So I had a break from October to January and only started paying them off again this month. Good luck with it,it is so stressful when you are on maternity leave and finances are not adding up hun but it will soon pass. Sorry you cant make the meet hun

Booth, hope it doesnt snow tonight so that you will be able to make it to the meet tomorrow. I am going to work until 12 then am going to pick Mimi up and make my way there

Pippin - thanks for the voucher info, will try and print one off at work tomorrow if I dont forget

Vici - Wow, so good that your lo is rolling over and starting to crawl. My little one can sit up unaided now but cannot roll over, dont know how she will learn though as she hates lying on her belly so cant even imitate any crawling yet lol

AFU- really excited and nervous at the same time about tomorrow. Got Mimi's outfit ready too..........well good night all, have to be up at 6am

Evening ladies,:flower:

Just popped on to quickly say hope ur meet goes well tmorro and all mummies and bubbas have fun!!!

night night xx

Hi girls

Not going to try and catch up with everyone - I have read back though.

I just said I would pop on and wish you all the best of luck for the meet - Get loads of pics and be back on here quick to fill us in.

Oh and Natasha rolled from front to back for the first time today - then everytime she tried it she got stuck lol - Ah I'm so proud of her.

Jabs went ok and DH got to come too which made all the difference as between us we were able to make her laugh - DH dressed her and I just took her mind off the pain by playing with her - she did scream when they were being done but stopped pretty quick this time.

The thoughts of the next ones as there are 3 over here at 6 months. Ah well they are all for the best.

Well again best of luck for the meet and hope the weather is not too bad over there - it seems to have started to thaw here today.

:hugs: to all

GOODLUCK AT THE MEET GIRLS!!!!

Im so gutted that i cant be there (ive never been to london before so it would have been double fun!!)
I will be there in spirit though pinky promise

Elin is still not rolling but i suppose that is down to her left side still not working very well although saying that she is doing a fab job trying to sit up so maybe she is just skipping that bit lol!!

Okay here is my big news and im so sorry for the selfish post but i think i may be pregnant again.... I have had AF visit not long ago but my boobs are so tender and i feel sick and tired all the time!!
Im on the pill so although this would not be the end of the world i would still be upset because i do not feel ready yet IYKWIM???
I feel awful saying that i mean Elin was a happy accident but 3 kiddies under 3 YIKES!!!

Anyways off me and love to you all

Vici im glad your feeling a bit better xx

Pips how scary that must have been to find Sam had moved that hasnt happened to me with any of mine and i can honestly say i would have pooped!!
I think Elin had been home about 4 weeks when Dj called me from my slumber so i went to check on him and fell asleep in his bed, Elin started crying so i obviously woke up and went to check on her, halfway across my landing she stopped and normally i would have gone back to Dj (he had woke uo too) but something was telling me to check Elin...
Well to cut a long story short she had pulled up her blanket (the one that i had crocheted her) onto her face and i ran to her pulled it off and she gasped for breath!!! I just stood there shaking and crying!
I know totally different to what happened with Sam but i forgot to tell you all that!
I kind of didnt want to incase you thought i was a bad mummy (PND talking) xxxxx

Booth i hope you catch that eggy soon heres some baby dust for you :dust:

ARGH cant remember anymore sorry girls love you all though!! xxxxx
BIG HUGS FROM ME AND ELIN!!! xxxxxxxxx

thankyou samstar :hugs: :)

pippin - jesse shuffles up his cot, we put him to sleep on his front though, we have to move him down a couple of times a night cus he shuffles up, if hes on his back heshuffles down and ends up with his legs sticking out the bars at the bottom lol xx

Just seen in paper that our library is shut for 2 weeks tofix the heating. Won't be able to print a voucher - hope somebody else manages to.

C u all later - I'm excited & a bit nervous :) think I might head into town early and visit primark first :)

Have fun at the meet girls!!

So there are some new developments for us. Emma can now scoot herself forward when laying on her belly. She has always kicked her little legs like crazy but now is starting to learn how to work them together to actually move a bit. Not far by any means but she pulled herself across her activity mat. :haha: Little stinker won't stay still. She keeps trying to get to the tag that is attached to one of the poles on her activity mat. :dohh: So I'm pretty excited about that. Last night was horrible for us though because she kept waking up screaming. The boob would only work for so long and than she'd start screaming again. I'm running on about 4 hours of sleep and even that was broken sleep. :coffee: I'm wondering if us moving has finally caught up with her. I mean we are in a strange house in a strange bed. Her daddy isn't around anymore. So I'm hoping it is just a phase and she stops because doing this alone is hard enough without this.

Cleck - sorry you had such a tough night; hope tonight is better :hugs:

As for the rest of you ...
Lovely to meet you today!!!

We had great fun, AuntyE - sorry again for G scaring Imogen!

Shadow - wish i'd driven to Stanmore too! train home was hideous! I've posted my tale in the BF forum but thought I'd do it here too!

Usually there are 6-8 trains an hour but today they were running a skeleton service of 2 trains ....
Its normally a packed train at the best of times.
So we elbow our way into the sardine tin and I manage to stand holding a pole with both hands so G has a bit of protection; for the first few minutes he was OK looking round but all the people kept smiling and saying hello to him and after a busy day he was a little overwhelmed and the tears started, along with nuzzling between my boobies.

So my dilema either let my son get more and more upset and scream in a very very packed train or I jiggle my boob to free my nipple and let him feed/comfort suck all the way - no choice really.

So with a quick apology I fiddle with my top and we're sorted - I have no idea how many business men got a glimpse of nipple but once we were latched it was sorted, even if I was a little embarrassed!
I'm so glad I can manage to feed him in the maitei (usually I am happy to do it walking down the street, shopping etc and people don't realise) I've never had to get him started with other people quite so close!! i think we were stood in 1 man's armpit!

I'm home and I've had a coffee and I'm on my way to regaining some composure!

Hey girls lovely to meet you all today, we are still travelling sat nav says 134 miles to go so half way home,
I think I hold record now for having four different babies sick on me today lmao! xx

Oh im so gutted that i wasnt there it hasnt even snowed here and it looks like the snow might be to bad for Elins trip to bristol tomorrow so grrr!!!!

Cant wait to see piccies now!!!!

Sorry had to post again did not like my post count one bit!!

Hey ladies Fabulous to see you all today I had such a great time thank you for being so lovely, and making the effort to all get together.

Joeyjo what a nightmare hon but good for you feeding when he needed it. I bet you made all those businessmen's day so I shouldn't worry about it :winkwink:. They would prefer to see a bit of boob than have a grump G I'm sure. Sam lasted all the way home and on the bus without a feed so I'm doubly surprised really we weren't in the same position.

Bothh well done to both of you for coming all that way and I hope it hasn't rendered you bankrupt parking in London. Fingers crossed for a safe and fast rest of the journey.

Shadow Thank you so so so so so much for organising it what a little start you are.

As for everyone else LOVELY, LOVELY to meet you all and I've attached a photos, sorry they are rubbish quality I should have brought a better camera but I know others have some too (thanks Vici, Shadow and MJ).

BTW so hard not to call you all by your real names now even though I'm so used to calling you by on line names :dohh:

Bahhhh Baby and bump will only let me put three up, will try and add more in another post.

edit: Added two more :yipee:

Sam_Star we missed you being there too. I really hope you get to Bristol tomorrow. I have everything crossed for you. Main roads look fine so maybe if you can just get to them you'll be ok. Good luck anyway hope it goes well. x

(Ps Anyone finding BnB so slow tonight or is it just me? I'm missing people posts as it takes sooooo long to load.)

Thank you all so much for a fabulous day. Will post more tomorrow as i am shattered. Got home at about 8:15pm xxx Thanks so much Naomi for sorting it all xxx

Glad it's not just my internet. I'm off to bed in 5 as today has worn me out, can't believe I left the house at 11:30 and got home at 6, where did all that time go we were only in the restaurant from 1-4????. Samuel is fast asleep after a such a busy day. Just given him a dream feed so fingers crossed he might make it till 4am before another but I'll settle for 3am if I'm honest hehehehe.

What a fab day :hugs:
