lol i need to take every ones advice, including my own as well! i have my up and down days and today must be a down day lol pancake day and im on a diet! got my cross trainer so i need to get on it! and i just cant be bothered lol. and my bra is digging in me! .... ok ive had moaned enough now! xx

Still not all that much to tell over here, I've been spotting for 2 days now though. Not impressed at all to be honest, I was fully counting on another 80 day cycle which would tie in very nicely with the gynae appointment. Not gonna be happy if AF shows up 2 weeks early!

CD14 would be nice on time if you did ovulate! There's several ladies on here who didn't ovulate until much much later (CD70ish) and fell pregnant, so you're still definitely in with a chance =)

Hello ladies,

Sorry I haven't stopped in for a while - our laptop has been away for repair - I am lost without it! So tempted to get on B&B at work but can't quite bring myself to!

Hope you are all doing ok. Hang in there Drakey - the wait is a bl**dy pain - I had almost writtten this cycle off and then ov'd on Day 26. Also a couple of cycles ago when I wasn't temping or using opks, I had a 7 and a half week cycle - fairly sure I ov'd on that one but it would have been on about CD 40!

I know it is easy for me to say now, but I really do know how you feel - when I had the annovulatory cycle last month, I was absolutely devastated and thought all my cycles to come would be like that - but I think it really is just temporary after-effects of pill - after this our bodies have to work so hard to gear up to ovulate and it either takes ages or some months frustratingly, it doesn't quite manage it.

keep going with the opks though - this month I had got into such a routine doing it and just expecting to see another neg, I was amazed when it went dark as I hadn't spotted any ov symptoms by then. Maybe it will come when you least expect it!!!!

Ooh, by the way, we used pre-seed (but not the night before ovulation cos we ran out!) and afterwards slept for an hour with a pillow under my backside - no idea if these helped - I looked like a wally but hey if it worked I would do it again!

Hi, can I join you all?

My cycles vary from 23 days (happened once last year) to 71 days. I only have an 11 day lutealphase so tend to ov late. Until a few cycles ago I was charting every cycle, but the stress got too much. Since stopping charting my cycles settled at approx 31 days, and I thought that the not-stressing over taking my temp etc had worked, but i'm CD20 today and no sign of ov,cm isn't even sticky yet, so I think ov is at least a week away...AT LEAST.

I wish I had a regular 28 day cycle, any tips for regulating?

Hi Welly! You are definitely welcome to join... I've heard that Agnus Castus can help with your cycles, but I haven't tried it.

Quail, it is possible that you aren't ovulating and that's why your cycles are so short. It could also have something to do with your luteal phase hormones. My sister did not ovulate when breastfeeding, but some women do. What is the length of your cycle when you aren't nursing? Is it similar?

hi bizybee my cycles when not nursing are usually 28-30 days long. i have decided to stop breast feeding and see if that helps. ive never had trouble conceiving before but normally ive stopped breastfeeding before i conceive so im thinking its down to the breastfeeding,will see what next month brings. good luck everyone.x

Well, CD51 and still nothing to report...

I'm still hoping for a but I've also accepted that this is probably not the cycle. When gets me, I will be able to continue my testing. I will have bloodwork on CD21 and OH will have SA done. I had CD3 bloods done last cycle and everything was fine. Unfortunately, my CD21 were not. I am not surprised though because I am obviously not ovulating before then, otherwise my cycles wouldn't be so long. It's looking like my next step will probably be clomid.

On another note, I spoke with a friend from work who also has long cycles and she said acupuncture worked to shorten hers. She is now averaging 35 days or so (which is better than 50). I am considering trying it, although the thought of all those needles is a little scary!

well ive just been to the doctors and she said the spotting is ovulation bleeding so at least i know when im o, now so that makes me about 8dpo so hopefully test soon might have to do one today because im a poas addict.x

Okay, Ladies i'm totally freaked this morning - i'm CD64 and i have a feint

two problems - i don't know where i am in my cycle (i'm guessing 16dpo - but could also be more or less!)

Also i have my FS appointment tomorrow - i'm gonna feel like a total numpty turning out to be pregnant.

What to do - obviously very little i can do - though i'm tempted to get a better test. they're ic's i've been testing on (used 12 so far this cycle no evaps - so you can imagine what i was thinking when my feint pink line showed) - i'm not posting an announcement till i've had my confirmation - i need convincing!
