Hey ladies! Sorry I haven't shown my face in ages, we still don't have an internet connection and won't do until around the 20th. The phone line will get installed on the 18th and I don't know how long it will be before we have internet from then on...

I haven't had a chance to read up on any of you, I promise I will once I have proper internet again

Just a quick little update while DH is making dinner (I stole his lappy and pre-paid internet!)
Yesterday FF told me I ovulated a couple of days ago. My temperatures were only slightly higher than usual, and not higher than they've been in previous cycles. So I didn't really believe it to be honest, but today my temp took a massive spike! It is true that I had a lot of CM for around a week, and that stopped pretty much the day after FF claims I ovulated. So fingers crossed it's true! If so, I would be in my first true 2ww! ... But I've thought it before and been proven wrong, so for the next week and a half I won't fully believe it just yet.

I also had my second gynae appointment today. The gynae was happy with my weight loss and he's put me on Metformin. I'll start taking it tonight anyway, just incase it's a false ovulation. He said if I fall pregnant just to stop it. Just in case though, he's also referred me to a fertility clinic where they'll put me on Clomid if the Metformin hasn't worked in 2 months. So a massive step in the correct direction for me ... I'm sooo made up!!!

Hopefully my next update will be before I have real internet, and with the update saying I've got my BFP anything can happen

Erised, good to hear from you hun. I hope you really did ovulate and you get a bfp soon. If not, at least you are moving forward and I wish you luck.

Sigh, one of the girls at work just found out she is pregnant. She's all whining because its a month earlier than she hoped. I'm like, really? I just wanna have a normal cycle! God ppl annoy me.

well had my blood done, i was a nerveous wreck, BP still up but the nurse said she could tell i was scared.... i asked what she was testing for and she said thyroid, blood count etc... the lot basically... so i gotta wait a week today for my results, im scared lol.... i need to toughen up i think. Think my arms going to bruise coz its aching now xxxxxxxxx

I think I posted in here a while back, and then my cycles seemed to find some normalish pattern, so didn't think that this group was quite the right place for me...
to everyone at whichever stage u all are (there is too much for me too comment on individually)
Just wanted to say Drakey that I had hormone levels taken last week, it took 2 practice nurses both arms and u could see the relief on the nurses face when she worked out that day 21 is a Sunday, I have been advised to get these ones done at work (I know my practice nurse reasonablely well, and I am a nurse working somewhere that all the patients have got crap veins so those that take blood are fairly good with non-existent veins!!!)

Thanks Bizybee, I'm just hoping that I can get the other bits done at work. I had some hormone work done back in November, but at least atm they can get day 21 bloods (if my veins cooperate!) which should provide a clearer picture. Although we have been trying for over a year, because I was on the injection they will not intervene until next February , but I get on really well with the nurses at my GP and DH knows the Gynea and FS people at the local hospital, so at least we can get advice until that point... if needed (I'm obviously hoping that we won't)

hi mum 2be, i was releieved that my vein popped up straight away lol, i was that scared i asked for magical cream! the nurse just laughed! so you a nurse? you might be able to help me about my BP! ... last 2 times i have been to docs, my bp has been up, i dont suffer from head aches or anything, and i do generally feel well in my self, sometimes a bit tired but dont we all.... any way, you think it would be worth me talking to my doc about this, as i am a very nerveous patient, even with docs, dentist, any thing medical! ... or is it something i shud need to be getting sorted asap? xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think u have answered this yourself, it is known within the system aswhite coat hypertension, if u are suffering no ill effects I wouldn't worry too much, it may be worth mentioning it too ur doc next time u see so they can keep an eye in the furture

thanks hun, it was just worrying me, as i dont want them to turn round and say it bad for us to ttc with my bp been up!, i do feel well within my self and i know i shudnt get nerveous at docs but i do, i can always feel my heart pounding lol. ill maybe mention it to him on wednesday when i go get my results xxxxxx

I would like to join in..........I also have really long irregular cycles. Im currently on day 36 of bleeding waiting for it to stop and give me a break.............doc said in three months he'll put me on clomid........Looking forward to comparing notes

I am around 8 dpo today. No real symptoms yet, but I am still hopeful Clomid will work this cycle. I want to POAS, but I'm going to wait until later this week (if I can help it )!

Hey girls. Been gone a while. Nothing new to report at all. Still no AF, but the sore bbs have pretty much gone away...I mean, my bbs are still there, they just don't hurt, lol.

We haven't been trying for long, I know that, but it seems like we have been trying for FOREVER. How is everyone else doing?

Well, about ten minutes after I wrote that post it seems the has got me. Very very light at the moment, but we shall see. This actually turned out to be a rather short cycle... At least we get to start all over again.
