After bleeding and spotting on and off for the past 3 weeks and having had a scan on Monday where we saw the bean and heartbeat and all looked well, I passed 3 very large clots/pieces of tissue yesterday lunch time (1 was 2-3")
I went to A&E, poor DH having fished the bits from the loo on instruction from the hosp in the hope it would help. The Dr said it likely was an mc (but didn't even look at what we had collected) but we would have to wait until Monday to confirm on a scan.
We are both certain what has happened though and are so upset. I honestly didn't think it would be this hard
I don't want this to scare other ladies who are spotting or bleeding because when I was searching I honestly did find as many good outcomes as bad, I was just one of the unlucky ones.
I want to say a big thanks to everyone for their help and support, I have had loads of questions and received lots of help which I am so grateful for. I hope to be joining you ladies again very soon
UPDATE:
I can't believe it, we just got back from our scan and our little bean is still hanging in there!
I want to apologise for being so negative, I feel just awful about it now
We are so happy! We don't know what the large pieces were that I passed but the hosp will hopefully be testing for us. The possibilty of a twin that didn't develop was mentioned again a little more seriously this time but we still don't know. There is still bleeding in the womb so I can expect to see more blood, I just hope I don't have to go through what happened on Saturday again
