LO's bathing with Dad

i think it's totally fine. when my mom worked 2nd shift when i was younger and my dad was watching me and my sister i went into the bathroom with him while he took his baths (my sister was older so she could go into the living room to watch tv). and to be honest, i dont even remember what he looked like naked. all i can remember is sitting in the bathroom doing my own thing while he took his bath and stuff. it didnt scar me or anything. and i remember being in the bath with my mom.
now at my house we only have a shower so we cant really co-bathe much. sometimes my son gets in the shower with my OH but not with me. it's usually because i only get a chance to shower at night when LO is sleeping and my OH is at work so i'm never put into the situation. if i did, he's more than happy to join me

My LO will take showers with her daddy, heck her and I took a shower together this morning lol. He was shy about it at first, but I told him she's too young to really care. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you're comfortable doing it.

tee heee, this reminds me of a story my friend's Mum told me. When she was little, she had a bath with her Dad, and one day when they both got out and were Daddy was drying himself, he bent over with her stood behind him. My friend apparently saw his "dangly bits" and promptly flicked them really hard! Lol!!! Apparently he pretty much jumped through the ceiling! Makes me pee myself thinking about it!

I couldn't read all of the posts, but wanted to add that we also take turns, and Evan has loads more fun!
Since DH is at work all day he misses alot of one on one time, but splashing about in the bath, then a bottle and a cuddle is a great remedy for this.

The only time she has ever mentioned anything was when she started sobbing in the bath one day, when i asked her why she pointed at Chris bits and said Daddy has pooed in my bath .

ah theres nothing wrong with this! apparently my mum and dad did with me...when i was very young my mum took me in with her and when she wet her hair i started crying coz i didnt recognize her anymore ha! I remember once when i was about 7 i walked in on my dad having a bath and he quickly covered himself with his hands lol! It did not scar me mentally or nothin in fact i think i was more annoyed that he had used all my bubblebath! And i dont remember seeing anything before then when i obviously did. What is the LO dad supposed to do when he is trying to dress a 4year old?? close his eyes?! I still walk in to my mum in the shower and she used to with me as there has never been a lock on our bathroom door and when you need a wee you need a wee! didnt do me any harm. some people are just a bit more prudish then others. Like people who dont think you should breast feed in public..its like the most natural thing in the world to do!!

LO baths with his dad probably every other night, and with me once or twice a week. He loves it, its loads of fun and lovely for bonding. TBH we both want LO to grow up without 'issues' about human bodies being disgusting or dirty or secret (not that we're naturists or anything lol!), to have a healthy attitude towards them.
I guess we'll carry on sharing baths for a while yet, while we're all still comfortable with it.

My ex baths with holly! Last time they bit they splashed eachother so much the bathroom was soaked and the water was coming downstairs through the celing!!
