Hi everyone,
Feeling depressed as my AMH level came back today as 4.62 & my FSH is 12.3.
My FS has explained that this means I had low ovarian reserves & if we did IVF I might not respond as well as other women i.e. only producing 4-6 eggs Why is there so much injustice when ttc? It's so not fair.
I'm 37 & have a wonderful 17 year old daughter (so am blessed to have one child) but would love to have one more at least & have actively been ttc #2 for 4 years. I'm on my 2nd cycle of IUI this month & can't help wondering if it will be pointless due to my results? The FS kept going on about IVF, how they would be able to make better decisions etc..The thing is I never said I want to go down the IVF route.
I just feel the hosptial is after money as we are self funded patients on a low income, how is it possible to save money for IVF as well as everyday living expenses? (bills, food, rent, pets). Feel deflated
