MARCH-MALLOWS 2020

I had an Avent manual pump on my first. It was quite easy to use but took a while but that was because my milk just would not come in fully so I ended up having to bottle feed. I liked how compact it was. I had the Avent microwave steriliser and it fit into that nicely with the bottles. I ended up getting rid of it as I bottle fed my second just in case my milk would not come in again. I'm going to bottle feed this time again but would still recommend the pump.

Good to hear the Avent was atleast easy to use, that's the one I ended up getting.

I would be hitting my husband with more than nerf gun pellets if he slept through the newborn phase without helping. :haha:

Hi all. How are you all doing? Got my date for c section yesterday Friday the 13th March!! Not long now. Baby was measuring on 98th percentile. They are predicting a 9 pounder! Just turned 33 weeks but some of the measurements were at 37.5 and baby already weighing 5 and a half pounds. Was reassuring to know all ok though. Xx

That seems so close, Positive!

Time has really flown by recently. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and she couldn't believe I was 32 weeks already. Only 8 more or so weeks to go... though I'm really hoping she's early. My oldest was 8 days late and my youngest was 12 days early. So could go either way this time.

Hi ladies! How's everyone doing today? Also who's due their baby first? Love that February is a shorter month! I'm due 28th March so I'm sure the whole month of March will drag in lol. I'm 32+ 5 today. As of Monday gone, baby is still breech according to my GP. He seems to think I'll definitely be getting a c-section. I've my appointment with the consultant on the 12th Feb then I've to meet with the anaesthesiologist afterwards. I'm really hoping baby will turn as I would prefer not to have a section. I'm hoping to put it off for as long as possible to give baby a good chance to move into the correct position. My first two were already head down at this stage. Feeling really stressed about it  Anyone else feel like this before a section?

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the last... technically not due til April 1st. Just always felt more comfortable posting in here than April group. I'm just so set on her coming early. :haha:

Jealous you're done work Gemma. I've got just over 3 weeks to go and am so done as well.

Ive gt 20 days left pf work before im off :( im due 19th March but im convinced im going to go early for some reason... i was a week late with my son though

Brilliant- you are all set! Can’t wait to see baby photos xx

I can't wait until we start to see baby pictures. :cloud9:

I'm starting to buy last minute things we still need and my postpartum stuff. Probably pack my bag around 36 weeks just to be all ready.

Heeey,

well im 36wks today!! Finish work on wednesday so not long now, got my next midwife app on tuesday then my growth scan wednesday. I will also find out if i will be induced early at that appointment as im technically classed high risk due to conceiving through fertility treatment/clomid. (Also cause of Group B but thts not why they might want to induce me). We are going to start setting everything up next thursday/friday... currently just waiting on new carpet going down in babys room on thursday so we can clear her stuff from our room and set up the next to me etc... cant believe we are all almost ready to pop!!!

wonder who will be first hahaa

aw ladies this is so exciting!! I'm 35 weeks tomorrow. Baby is still breech but I don't have a c-section date yet. Hoping he will turn and I can have the birth I want but it's not looking likely. I'm hoping we can put off the c-section for as long as possible. Had the baby's second heart scan and growth scan on Thursday of last week. All looking great! They estimate he will be between 6 1/2 - 7lbs by the time he is born so delighted with that. And it means that there is still room for him to turn between now and my due date so hopefully the little messer will co-operate. I'm sick to death of hanging off the sofa upside down trying to get him moving! Still have move tubs of clothes from the baby's room and starting hanging newborn stuff up. I have started packing my bag and will start the baby's bag this weekend. It will hopefully get me more excited. Between worrying about the c-section and now hubby and I have had a massive falling out with his parents, this has been the most stressful last few weeks I've ever had while pregnant.

Was laughing at you hanging off the couch. Sorry to hear your feeling stressed. I’ve had a c section before and whilst it wasn’t what I wanted as long as you and the baby arrive safely that’s the main thing. Am having another one this time which again would have ideally liked not to but at lest this time I know in advance so can make plans around not being able to drive etc. In laws can be hard work. Hopefully y our husband takes care of that for you and you don’t need to worry. Try not to let it stress you and enjoy your last few weeks. Keep us posted. Sending hugs. X
