March Mamas 2012 Baby Group (Closed Group)

Missy, just give T a while then try again with the feeding. :hugs:

Loo, sorry D was being a monkey and not going to sleep! Glad she slept in the end though!

City hope G breezes off her jabs! ;)

Ergh afm, official worst night ever! F finally fell asleep, even with OH snoring, which kept me awake. Couldn't get to sleep due to snoring, feeling a bit stressed out from the difficult evening with F and a horrible cramping pain in my foot, which just wouldn't stop! By 1am I'd used a hotpack, coolpack and taken some ibuprofen. Eventually had to go find my ipod and listen to loud music to get me to sleep (always works. :haha:)
Anyway, was woken at 2.30am (a whole hour and a half, woo) by OH asking me if F needed a nappy change or a feed, and I then realised she was crying and sounded like she'd been crying for a while. :( I was so tired I hadn't even woken. :( That's never happened before! :( So OH changed her and I fed her, and then she did a massive poo and vom so we had to change her and all her clothes and the bedsheets at 3am. :dohh: On the plus side, OH massaged my foot and managed to shift the cramp, and then I got a little bit of broken sleep between 3.30am and 7am when Roh got up. I've got really bad pelvic pain this morning though and. Suspect that was what the pan in my foot was. Feeling really upset as I can't walk properly and I thought the SPD had cleared up as I've had no truble with it for a couple of months.

Damn, sorry, feeling really sorry for myself this morning!

Hopefully the shred dvd will arrive soon and I can kill myself with it! :haha: then lose a load more weight and have less stress on my pelvis and if I can get F to do it too, maybe she'll sleep properly! :haha:

Sorry for the crap nighta ladiea...hope you feel better soon emera...sounds painful

Talking about painful...first morning of shred...OMG...how hard can 20 mins be???! Turna out very!!!!

Trying to cool down after shower before M wakes up...still sweating...how unfit!!!

Ugh emera!!! Boo to bad nights... :( glad your foot is better but sorry about your hips :( what can you do? Dr? Drugs? Physio?
Mitch...yay for doing the shred... I'm doing it tonight :) honest!!!
Missy that clip was awesome. How cool is he!!! Lucky you and teddy. :) hope he's gobbled up his morning milk now xx
Really excited for the triathlon...used to do triathlons before I got preggo fat...the brownlie brothers are incredible!!!
Going to view our photoshoot photos this afternoon...we've had a preview shot through which was amazing...they're SO expensive though...eek!!!
Lozza did the fairy arrive? We did 7-10-4-8 so not quite as good but still only one wake up for me...

Mitch - so sorry hunni (photos) xxxx give them hell.

missy - try T again in a bit. G sometimes refuses to feed (even works himself up crying)... but then will guzzle when offered again 5/10.15 mins later  also..... have you got a photo of your mag shoot? sounds so fun - i would love to see... :winkwink:

Loo - Hope your little monkey settles down easier tonight :)

emera - That ISSS arubbish night :( but im glad ur OH was up and helping.... :winkwink:

Lozza - how was ur night hun?

cuppie - keep us updated on house offer.... u never know  ... my fingers are crossed :)

waula - hope the photos are delicious!!!! sure they will be :)

as for us..... just did the shred.... i upped my weights and now my arms KILL. knew they were too light though. I start level 2 in 2days.... gah. has anyone else other than mitch done it? x mitch - well done for getting through day 1.... pretty sure i was a heap of sweat and woe after my first session :haha: I remember bending to get something out of fridge the following day and i couldnt unfold my thighs they hurt so much. It gets better!!! well, a bit. :winkwink:

G is still in bed sleeping. He slept 8:30pm - 6am, had a 10 min feed, then slept in our bed till 8am at which point i dream fed him...... and he has slept since then. so normal really. He does like his morning lay in. I suspect its cos he wont go to sleep before 8:30pm at night! :dohh:

our sure start classes are cancelled this week for trianing, so no sessions for me and G today  might go for a loooooooong walk..... if my legs can bare it. orobably not :haha:

Fairly rubbish night, but not as bad as Emera :hugs:

He did 9-1, so we are extending by half an hour each night! I had to resettle him twice before 10, I think he's moving around and hitting his head on the cot side and waking up! Do I go for breathable bumpers or just let him learn not to smack his head?!!

Back down 2-4 then woke with wind, part of which I shifted and refused to feed til 5.45 again, then woke about 7. DH took him but then he wee'd everywhere on the nappy change so I had TK get up and help bath. Boo.

I've decided to give up on infacol, it's not made a permanent difference 4 weeks in, and try the colief for a few days!

Sitting in a cafe now having got him to sleep on a walk. Just had a disappointing scone, made me wish I'd been good :-(

Inlaws arriving about lunchtime, mixed feelings as I will get a needed rest but sure thu won't put Z down and he likes playing on the floor! He lasted 90 mins on his gym yesterday with other babies rotating on. He's suddenly interested in other babies, smiles and tries to hold their arms, cute!

Well done on the shred girls!

Think the weoghts i am using for the shred are too heavy...they are hubbies ones and although he has takenthem down as far as he can i still have 1kg on each side and the weoght of the bar itself ....and they are not light. Going to get some cheapy ones in argos this week if i remember. Women on the dvd are using well light ones:winkwink:

Lozza...hope the colief has an effect for you......i think the way to administer it is a little faffy with bf'ing...but good luck.

Really screamy crying M when i tried to put her down for her second nap around 10:30....very strange...thought it may be pain...chewed on a cool teething ring...gave some calpol and then thought i would try a small feed. Made up 7oz and she downed the lot then passed out.....hmmmm they like shaking things up these babies. She is usually not bothered by 11-11:30am feed...although she takes it she faffs alot and doesnt clear a bottle...so very unusual to take early and polish off:shrug:. Maybe that coupled with extra napping means a growth spurt. Anyway has put us slightly out of synch for baby sensory at 2pm but we shall see what happens. She is a tired bunny...having a double nap i think...asleep since 11am...letting her get on with it:happydance:....whilst i watch Olympics:happydance:.....everyone seems surprised about GB medals tailing off in track and field.....i'm not...its not our strongest area to be fair....

Good for Mitch and Ft for shredding... Don't want you associating American accents with pain, though! ;)

Emera, what a night! I used to sleep through crying in the early weeks... Think it's kind of like white noise. Hope you feel better.

Lozza, yay for the extra half hour!

Loo, sorry you had a rough night. Hope today is better.

Missy, photo shoot sounds fun! Vomcano less fun.

G still fine from her shots. Dog not so great... Had his teeth cleaned and some warty things removed so he's in a cone and very sad about it. The stitches are on his back so not sure why he needs a cone but leaving it on because the vet said so... 10 nightsof this, yuck!

Just braved the holiday time playgroup, which is chaos as its all the normal groups mashed together, so lots of 8-10 month olds and a load of 2 year olds with a few babies thrown in! Madness basically! Bit much on a couple of hours sleep, but worth it, as they make me a coffee and entertain whichever child I'm not playing with, so it makes life easier if I can be bothered to haul myself down there. Got the bus too, so pretty low impact. :)

F is having a sleep now, having been awake since 7am. Given how little sleep she had last night she was amazing at playgroup and didn't even grumble once!

I think F might have thrush, but not sure, I always get it from taking anti-biotics and she's just finished a course for her ear, so wonder if the same happened with her. Not sure I can face going to the docs today though, maybe it will clear up by itself?

Hiya lads

Sorry for crap night's sleep Lozza & Emera...oh and anyone else :hugs:

A ggod night here (7.30pm-5.30am) but but awake since and just will not nap!! She has been grizzling and crying on and off for 4 hours  so unlike her. Tried more milk, burping, rocking, different scenery and last resort calpol. Think it's her teeth as she is screaming out in pain and has her fingers in her mouth all the time, poor mite. Think she has just passed out but as soon I as move she senses it and the pattern starts again...fingers crossed...

Am hungry too...any food porn to tempt me??? :winkwink:

Anyways, will try and read now and see how y'all are doing...also need to have a shower (not had chance yet today )...and shave my legs before I can apply some Xen Tan body moisturiser to hopefully take the blue tinge outta my legs before the wedding on Friday!!! :haha::haha:

Just spoke to Estate Agent and said we'll put an offer in soon...:happydance::happydance:

xxxx

Oh yeah, just to add I've been feeling quite odd the last few days...bloated and upset tummy and nauseous and achy...hopefully just a bug!! I said to OH that it was just how I felt when I fell preggo!!!

Don't think there's a chance...you have to actually have :sex: right!!??! :haha::haha:   :haha::haha:

ps Don't get excited - we've been practising safe sex...when we actually get around to it!!!

Ooooh good luck with offer nicnak:happydance:

No food porn to share here...today i have eaten crunchy nut cornflakes (always yum) and two crumpets....:haha:...unsure how to.explain that to our US and overseas ladies:shrug:

Well M is having a great nap so looking hopeful to not get a meltdown during sensory:happydance:...though not sure where feed will fit it hmmm

Mouse....love the fact that your doggies collar is acting as a megaphone for snoring:blush:...bless him

Hope mscrows ok...havent heard anything for a few days x x:hugs:

I will respond properly later, but before I read back....

My dinner tonight is a salmon salAD.. if i were being naughty it would be lamb shank with sweet potato mash..... :winkwink:

about to watch the cycling....come on GB!!!

WT, a DD!!!!!!! Amazing!!! :yipee:

Lozza, we put one of those newborn inserts under the sheet to stop D from going 'wandering' in her sleep. She used to always end up with her head against the bars of the crib and that seemed to do the job. We've also put it in the cot to make things slightly cosier.

Mitch, you are going to get muscles on your muscles using heavy weights!! :haha:

I know it's not my news, but as MsC is AWOL, I thought I'd let you know that she text yesterday and it appears her father is slightly better. :hugs:

I didn't get round to kick boxing this morning. Turns out I'm really quite lazy!!!

Great, Loo! I meant to ask about her but it was 4 am and I was forgetful.

Dog is slightly better. I remembered I had a jar of baby food tucked away (he gets into lots of digestive "situations" that require meals of chicken, rice, and baby food) and he ate that without any prodding. I mixed it with water and some kibble, so I know he's getting some liquids.

The big news here is that we're hiring my sister on as our full-time nanny. Mostly because I was afraid she'd find another job and we'd be left without her part-time services. She's not just nannying, she's also going to help out around the house, so I can hang with the baby.

But it does seem like I'll be back in the thick of work pretty soon so it's nice to know she's lined up. Also nice to know she'll have an income and won't starve. :haha:

I think what we're going to do is pay her a decent wage and then give her a nice bonus after a year. So she'll automatically have money to put in savings and won't have frittered everything away.

Yay double Dolly!!!! Go twins!!!!
Loo I too am lazy...and an having an earl grey with a white choc chip cookie (or two) instead of shredding!
Glad MsC ok xx
Photos were LUSH but oh so horribly expensive!!! Like a thousand pounds expensive!!!! Yikes! We opted for the freebie one...and will see how finances hold up...and get our camera out!!! Rip off.
Got the baby led weaning cookbook through today...can wholeheartedly recommend if ppl want ideas for meals.

Trip post sorry...but N has started blowing a LOT of raspberries. Like all the time. Which when combined with a mouthfull of sick is highly unpleasant.
