My sister is just over 38 weeks so waiting for the imminent arrival! And my best friends are 32 weeks, 25 and 20 weeks so it's all go here!

MornIng everyone hope your ok x x all is good here I have astinking cold though I started my own little business over the last few weeks making nappy cakes and gifts etc it's really suprised me how busy I am !

Anyway I wanted to ask does anyone use cloth nappies , I've bought the kids pocket ones from baba and boo but don't understand a few bits x do they have to be changed more than disposable ? Do you know anything about the press studs she is roughly 12lb x

Good job with the business I made quite a few nappy cakes last year for quite a tidy profit

At the minute I seem to have a slight pram addiction buying and selling lots! Bought a p&t for 75 and sold for 100 after 3 months! Currently have a quinny buzz which I am fixing up which I bought for 40! Also have a zapp we got for 25! But still got my own m&p zoom as never had one problem and phoebe loves it. Won't ever sell that!!

Its like a cake made of nappies but made in all different shapes ive got trikes motorbikes prams baskets and now started doing fathers day pressie and a few kiddies nappy cakes its good i enjoy it, rach did you do it on ebay ? i love doing them but they can be time consuming , ive often thought about buying a pram if ive ever seen one and thought thats cheap but worried id end up stuck with it lol xx

You never know rach you may end up having to have a double xx

Ahhh. Sorry I was confused, it makes sense now because we have a similar thing here in the states. I just didn't make the connection. We call the diaper cakes and then for my shower with Ethan someone also made me a diaper wreath! Very cool! I can see where you could get very creative with the shapes and do them for all occasions! Do you put little toys and tethers and things on yours? Mine had little travel sizes of shampoo, etc on too which were fun!

I CD - i change J every 3 hours or so. I send J with 4 cloth diapers to daycare (between 8-5) with 4 diapers and she always uses at least 3 (and she is sent in a clean on obv (wake up at 7:30 and dropped of at 8:10). i kinda just check and change... if i check and its wet, i change no matter when i changed her last - you can get away with more with disposables as they soak up the wetness.

we cloth diaper and change O about every 3 hours as well...sometimes more. now that she's drinking water she pees a lot more and seems to soak diapers quicker...but still every few hours is pretty average. she's also cutting molars or just starting and she's been pooping like a machine 3-5 times a day with this round of teething...so we change a lot more than we used to! we just use prefolds and covers and since she's pooping so mcuh and dirtying her covers with each poop we are running out of covers most days and having to laundry each day. ugh. we use a service for the actual prefold diapers so don't have to wash those. thinking we need to buy a few more covers...just waiting for a sale to happen so we can do so...

Just got back from A & E with Brody... went to get his dessert and he decided he would take a nose dive out his high chair...

One bloody nose and a bashed forehead, happy to report he is back to himself and annoying his big brother, thank god for that.

I need a brandy for my nerves...
