Tanikit I know what you mean about having to watch them. Ethan has been able to stand (with help balancing of course) for several weeks now, and lately, he is using his feet to push up on anything he is sitting in. When he gets his feet under him in his bouncy seat, he is able to push himself all the way up to where his head is about halfway off the top of the seat (and this is even when he is strapped in!) And in his swing he gets his feet planted and arches his back up so hard that I feel it is definitely possible he could flip himself out if not strapped in (hubby forgot last night, and I almost stroked out when I saw him about to push himself out of the thing
). I guess the "good days" of them basically staying where you put them are coming to an end - these babies are about to become escape artists!
I can feel the gray hair coming on already! He is so strong and, while he can't roll over or sit up yet, his legs are STRONG and he's got good head control. I know it won't be long before the rest of him catches up!
How is everyone else doing? Oh, and I wanted to ask. Is anyone else having issues with baby not being as interested in eating? Ethan will fuss a lot now when he's taking his bottle, spitting it out, smacking it away etc. but then screaming because he is hungry.
Any ideas? We know he has some acid reflux and we started him on Zantac yesterday. Would love to know if anyone else has run into this.
Meanwhile I am interested to see how my cycles are resetting. I got my first AF after baby exactly 28 days ago now and normally run a 25 day cycle, so I'm officially late (but positive I am not pregnant). Does AF usually take a while to settle back into a pattern for most ladies?
Thanks girls and I hope all are well!
