It's going to be the first Christmas Abbie really knows about and I don't want my due date (should we be lucky next month) to be that close to Christmas and run the risk of missing something important in her little life

also any suggestions on a good pregnancy test?

The internet cheapies can be a bit unreliable. First Response are usually the best ones. I've seen people with positives at day 10/11 but 12-14 are more reliable.

yeah i got a positive yesterday so maybe i will start or not on the 29th??? I dont temp i used opks this month. I went out and bought a BBT last night so incase i do start i have something to look forward to but i was readaing about it and i dont know if i can do it. My 2 1/2 year old wakes up at different times of the night and needs me to take her potty....

Hmmm...yes, waking up several times in the middle of the night means you probably won't get acurate readings. Maybe just do the opks.
